I like Whataburger. It’s definitely a Texas staple. This location is the absolute slowest when it comes to drive thru. Every other is about a 3 – 5 minute wait(y’know your regular drive thru wait time). I’ve waited in line for 15 minutes several times and there was no one ahead of me or behind me. Not sure if staffing is an issue or something else. The food still turns out good, but if I wanted to sit around for food then I’d go to a more casual place and not a fast food joint.

Food is good. Employees are polite. The wait to go through the drive through is ridiculous! I’ve waited over 20 minutes before. Can’t run over there between classes :(

The service is quick, prompt and friendly. The food is consistently good and your typical Whataburger prices. The location is easy the get to, easy in, easy out. We just get the Whoppers, the size is right and the price is good for a quick lunch. Place seems clean every time we go. Nothing special here, just what you want when you want it.

20min in line for food, ridiculous! My order wasn’t even correct and the food wasn’t even hot!

So many great options in town and this nice new Whataburger is clean and inviting. Too bad it has the slowest people employed and the slowest service of any drive-thru since the creation of drive-thrus. Expect nice people but recurring poor organization and long delays that won’t exist at a sit down restaurant anywhere in Austin! Better go to the shady location south of Braker on I-35 if you want speed and quality!

During the day, this Whataburger is just as good as any other location in town. But after hours, this is the slowest, most incompetently-staffed Whataburger I’ve ever been to. The past 3 times I’ve gone through the drive-thru, they’ve gotten my order wrong. The last 2 times, it took more than 20 minutes to get from the menu board to the pay window. Tonight, while waiting for my order at the window, I witnessed the employee at the cash register picking at his teeth with his fingernail, then packaging orders and making milkshakes. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt(I work nights, I know how hard it is to stay fully staffed at 4am) until tonight. Never again!

This location is great! The drive thru is slow, but I feel like that’s pretty normal at whataburger. This time when I went through the drive thru they gave me the wrong order. I went in to fix the mistake and they gave me the burger I ordered fresh in less than a minute. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend getting your burger on Texas toast. There’s nothing quite like ending your meal with a nice chocolate shake! So yummy.

Great service and yummy food. Came here for breakfast, drove 15 minutes out of the way just to get whataburger, and it was delicious! Got the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit with a dr. pepper, cooked perfectly! Will definitely be making many trips to this location even though it’s a little out of the way ;)

We showed up ten minutes before they stopped serving breakfast and were about to order at the drive through when the line mysteriously stalled. They did not open the second lane so that they could take any more orders. The line started moving again right after 11 and we were told they stopped serving breakfast. We might be paranoid and bitter, but we had the distinct impression the stall was engineered so that they could stop making breakfast. It was extremely frustrating to wait in line for 15 minutes just to get no sweet sweet honey butter chicken biscuits.

This is like a McDonald’s from 20 years ago. Very limited variety. Highly processed food. The«grilled chicken» was not grilled at all and was not really edible. The service was very good though. Everyone was very friendly.

Whataburger does fast, fresh, inexpensive hamburgers and assundry better than most! The only chain that handles it better, IMHO, is In & Out, but I’ll say this. Whataburger offers a few«perks» you don’t get at I&O. For example, give their specialty sauces a try. Ketchup with a kick or a really great grainy yellow mustard? Yes please! Plus, their pickles are awesome. I’m not an onion ring person, but I have friends that love them and I’ve heard this place is one of the best when it comes to getting them cheap! I’m not a giant fan of wedge fries, but if you are, Whataburger’s for you! Whataburger’s specialty food items also set it apart. When you’re in the mood for fast, fresh, and awesome, but want a change from the humdrum, give Whataburger a try. They just might become your new favorite economical drive-thru!

Great food. Ok service had to wait for a cashier to take our order while 4 others are standing around. After that food got out quick and fresh

If your not from Texas, and you want to know about Whataburger, please keep reading. Whataburger is a certain type of fast food, burgers are not frozen, everything is fresh, buns, veggies, etc. It cost more than McD’s, and takes a little longer to make, but there is just a whataburger taste that you either love or hate, kinda like in-n-out burger, love it or hate it, I like them both. But I like to tweak a whataburger, get a Chophouse ceddar burger, add all veggies, mustard, and get some extra pepper, great burger experience. You make your decision. This whataburger has been my location for 10 years, been there numerous times, never had a bad meal or service.

I was pretty disappointed with my last visit. The service was mediocre as well. I ordered through the drive-thru, and after they gave us our food, we left only to figure out that it was one burger short. We ended up going back and asked inside about the missing item. They said they it still wasn’t ready, but eventually gave it to us – with no apology. When I got home, the gravy I ordered with my chicken strips was basically water. I was very upset because I love the Whataburger back in my home town, and I never had any issues with them. If you have to go to this one, make sure you check your order before you drive off.

If Cali has In-n-out, Texas has a Whataburger. So, I finally tried the burger which has a mustard twist. Pretty good. Definitely liked the onion rings more than the fries. The drive thru was very friendly but that may just be «Southern hospitality!» :) If you haven’t tried it, it’s definitely worth trying!

I would give no stars but that is not an option unfortunately. We rarely eat at these types of places but it was around 9 and my wife was craving a burger for dinner after a long day of Saturday activities so I chose Whataburger since at least you know it’s fresh. Well it may be fresh but at this location this night the food was tainted! I watched the grill guy handle raw chicken and beef and then proceed to handle finished food without a change of gloves! Manager standing in kitchen area and either did not notice or care, either way unacceptable! Refund please! Eat here at your own risk!

Alright, Southeners do not hate me but sadly this is just a three star restaurant for me. It was a great, quick burger but nothing stands out. Nothing says«wow» to me. I ordered the standard Whataburger #1. I have been told the specialty burgers are delicious but I like to start out simple. After all, if you can not do simple, then you can not impress me. The amount of food in a standard, single cheeseburger meal was astounding. I did not finish my meal. The burger tasted good. It was not too greasy and definitely had a meaty rather than artificial flavor. The fries were delicious, not greasy. The standard size was very generous. After you order, you find a seat and they bring your food to you. With the food, they bring a tray of condiments. The service is great. What bothered me was the value. My husband ordered the #2, which is a double Whataburger. Rather than pay a 50 cents upcharge, they actually charge you per patty. He paid a full dollar over. Now, I do not mind paying for good food but I do not like to be nickel and dimed. It really turned me off to the chain. If you like burgers, try this place. It is an experience. If I lived in the south, I am not sure if this would be a part of my regular diet.

I love a «Texas» burger made with mustard instead of ketchup or mayo. Whataburger makes it just perfect. The service is always friendly and the store is always nice and clean. The only beef I have with them is that their drive-thru service is so slow. Seriously, the reasoning behind a drive-thru is for FAST and convenient meal delivery. If I opt not to go in the place, I can always count on spending an additional 10 minutes waiting to get my order. Even so, I love the food here. I’ll be back again and again.
