Whataburger

I’ve been waiting 30 minutes for food. This place has decided they don’t want my money ever again.

Like any Texan I love me some Whataburger. Sadly this is the worst one I’ve come across but it’s by far the closest to home. There are always 8+ employees working, never more than 10 people inside the restaurant, and the food always takes 10+ minutes. Going inside is usually a ten minute wait but the drive through has taken as long as 25 minutes, and it had nothing to do with the length of the line. It doesn’t matter if it’s 4am or 4pm, this drive thru line feels like you’re waiting forever. The other night it took 5 minutes before someone even came to the window to run my card. The drive thru attendant was standing around in plain view, talking to two other employees the entire time and just happened to remember there were people waiting for their food. It’s always like this. Thankfully the managers are nice most of the time but everyone else has no work ethic and are totally apathetic.
