Had a blast and would definitely do again! We were smiling from ear to ear almost the entire time. This has made me interested in other obstacle races.

I had an absolute blast today facing the Wipeout Run course! Yes, it is THAT Wipeout… As Seen On TV™. The event took place at the Travis County Expo Center and it’s the perfect venue to host such an event. Parking was fast and efficient and the lay out of the check-in, et al, was very easy to locate and had a great, user friendly, flow to it. Packet Pick-Up, Age Verification, Merchandise, and Solutions tents were well marked(my only complaint was how understaffed the Solutions tent was, it was a LONG wait to get my shirt upgrade for being one of the first fifty registered and the line was backed up even worse when I walked by it after finishing the course). The course made great use of the grounds and offered a fun path to make our way down. I also love how they started their runners with several different waves of runners, all with the same start time. Volunteers and staff along the course were friendly and engaging. Obstacles included a moon bounce, foamy slip n slide style inflatable, and of course the game show inspired ones that was the real reason for being there: Big Balls and Wrecking Balls(and I can proudly say I conquered the Wrecking Balls without wiping out into the drink). Beside the Wrecking Balls my other favorite obstacle was Tumble Tubes: grab an inner tube and scale to the top of the inflatable, then hop on and FLY down the other side into a splashdown pool! A legit blast! I ran this race last year prior to the partnership with Wipeout, when it was ROC Race and as good as that run was, the partnership took it to the next level. Suffice it to say that you’ll be seeing me at each subsequent Wipeout Run in the Austin/San Antonio area… yeah, it’s that much fun. See you at the Wrecking Balls!
