Pecan pancakes! I order them every time so fluffy and just the right texture. The hash brown casserole doesn’t disappoint either as it is potatoes and cheese mixed together and blended to a mashed. The staff is always friendly even on busy Sunday mornings. Also the gift shop sells some pretty unique things. Candles, some clothing, seasonal holiday stuff, wood rocking chairs, home good, seriously just everything just go now!

Since most Cracker Barrels are near clones of each other, there isn’t much I can add if you eat at this chain regularly. You probably already know what I’m going to say. If you’re new to Cracker Barrel, it’s really quite the experience. It’s usually quite packed and very busy. Outside they have handmade rocking chairs, both to sit on or buy. When you enter the restaurant, you first encounter a large and eclectic gift shop. Almost everything you imagine is crammed in there. Lots of folksy, nostalgic stuff and plenty of candy. If you go to Cracker Barrel often, you can rent audio books by the week, which is great if you travel on the road a lot. After the gift shop you wait in line for a table. This can take a while depending on the day of the week. It’s generally an older crowd that goes here and a lot of the menu is reminiscent of a bygone era(in a good way). The menu is made of brown paper, and there are all kinds of comfort foods. There’s also a health conscious menu, from which I ordered some catfish and vegetables which were delicious. You pay your bill at the gift shop, which is my only gripe, because it’s often so busy that lining up is difficult and you have to compete in line with the people who are just doing shopping at the gift shop.

Have eaten @ Austintown CB many times likewise others across the country. CB is a good place to get a comlete, home style meal with fast service and reasonable price. The menu is consistent just about anywhere you find a CB and they are everywhere. The Austintown CB has good wait staff that take good care of their customers. Their breakfast are served fast enough it make the difference in not choosing drive-thru & having a good meal.

Never been here before since we don’t have them in Vegas. The location was across the street from my hotel. I didn’t drive my rental, I walked there in 27° weather. I’m silly like that. This place has a «mom and pop» old fashioned type business. Tons of memorabilia from the 50’s &60’s. A great menu, full of home cooked meals. From hush puppies and okra, to Mac & cheese and greens. I ordered the fried cat fish dinner and the peach french Toast meal with over medium eggs. I went all out of my elements with eating breakfast and dinner at the same time. I told you I was silly! LoL The food was wonderful and made me feel sorta like a fatty but what they hey, I’m visiting Ohio :-) Would return if I ever come back. They need one of there on the west coast. They’d make a killing. The ONLY reason I gave a 3 star review was because of the waitress. She was a bit too preoccupied and almost lost her tip, but she got $ 3. I’m not a total scum bag.

Cracker Barrel was one of my favorites until the last time I went, they were painting and put up no warnings awful our dinner was ruined by the smell of paint fumes,(Made me want to puke.) So we asked the waitress how long it’s been smelling and she said 3 days so we talked to the manager and she lied and said it only smelled for 2 hours, so my grandmother asked for a gift card because of the inconvenience and the head manager came out and said no, that made my dad so mad he went off on him and said he would complain to corporate and warn people not to go there on Facebook, finally when we were leaving the manager started putting up a sign about the smell to save himself, terrible only getting a 2 star because of past good meals, I’m sure that the last meal I had from there would have been great but I couldn’t taste it because of the smell, unforgivable. P. S. when we complained about the smell the manager said«If you think it smells bad out here you should smell it in the kitchen.» pitiful he told us the kitchen reeked of paint and was trying to defend himself just awful.

Pretty affordable, good service and fast dishes. You wanna make sure u ask for the vegetable and the specials for the day. Apple dumpling desserts are pretty big and its a nice dessert to share for a couple or party of 4

This one was rough at first. The waitress brought out out party’s food and then mentioned my main dish was unavailable. So basically everyone had their meals except me. She more than made up for it by bringing an extra side and giving my kids ice cream. I love looking around this place. They now sell Cheerwine which is huge. Good was fantastic.

A large chain restaurant like Cracker Barrel, strategically located near the highways of our great nation, should have the following two concepts down pat: 1 how to handle large groups, especially kids in summertime and 2 the growing population with celiac disease and issues with gluten. Unfortunately, this location failed miserably on both fronts today while serving my nephew and his teen group on a bus trip While the menu indicated«low in gluten», the kids were unsure what was permissible as gluten free and what was not. In addition, burgers ordered Medium were served well done/burnt. All in all, a very disappointing experience

Country style meals made with fresh ingredients. Chicken n’ dumplings! Scratch biscuits! Home-made corn muffins. I forked up scrumptious heaps of moist meatloaf with green peppers, mashed potatoes n’ gravy with country green beans. Reminds me of when my mom cooked-it-up country for me! I’m bred and raised a Buckeye. Home for a visit. Now, I’m a Duck from Portland, OR – a Utopia for foodie lovers. Hey, I know good grub! And Cracker Barrel is crack-a-lackin tasty country chow! Our server, Judy, has entertained customers 21 years since the place opened. Judy was on-the-ball n’ on-top of the menu! Good service! Big restaurant and store with lots of customers at lunch but the queue moves fast. My advice, bring your feed bag and be ready to feast!

We had pancakes and light eggbeaters breakfast for lunch. Both were very tasty and love the all day breakfast.

Quick food that’s good. The place always seems to be busy. The waitresses are friendly and there are an abundance of them. The bad thing is how close the tables are to each other. You wont have a private conversation here.

For good food from a chain restaurant I would reccommend the biscuits and gravey… Easy access from freeway and lots of room for oversized trucks and buses.

Get the blueberry pancakes! Get them now! They are sooooo delicious. I love Cracker Barrel. Everything about it is just awesome. The little lamps on the tables that the servers light as it gets dark, the cute little bottles of syrup that they give you, the awesome general store with tons of stuff from yesteryear. And of course, no Cracker Barrel is complete without those huge checker boards that they have outside. I could sit in one of those rocking chairs all day… We actually had very good service at this location. The waitress was honest and friendly. I couldn’t ask for more. Well, one thing… the yolk on my egg was broken when they brought it over to me. That made me pretty sad.
