Just took the family fishing again on the Miss Avalon. Captain Irv made sure the entire family had a good time. Super clean boat with spotless bathrooms which pleased my wife. Mates are friendly and were always nearby when the kids had a line snagged. Great family experience yet again!

I went out twice in the last week and we had gorgeous weather ! The price is extremely reasonable for 4 hours on the water. The best part is it’s a BYOB. I got a keeper this time and threw some back the time before. The captains son Brandon is great at helping everyone get there line in the water or out of a jam. Even though there wasn’t a ton of fish being caught I’m giving them 5 stars because I couldn’t think of a better way I could have spent my after noon.

Haven’t fished on the Miss Avalon for more than 35 years. Thankfully nothing has changed other than a newer boat. Captain Irv and the mates are first class hosts and fisherman. Very attentive to the guests and kept searching for the hot spot.
Next time I’m in Avalon I will be back.

Seriously, one of the NICEST crews on a group fishing boat I’ve ever experienced. Did the afternoon trip just before a storm — 4 hours — $ 42, caught flounder, sea bass and a few others — small haul, not many large enough to keep, but a tremendously good time all around.
Highly recommend if you’re not chartering your own boat.
