The pizza here was fantastic. Soo much better than other places we have tried this week. 3 pizzas, all delivered on time hot and fantastic.

The pizza was awesome. It had«the crunch» that us west coast people don’t get. The regular cheesesteaks were pretty darn good, with wiz. We loved the chicken cheese steaks, meatball sub, and old bay fries, too. Yum. I would have given a 5 star except … BOOM! The chicken wings were overcooked and dry. But don’t let that stop you. Overall it’s a great place to get a bite to eat.

We ordered twice from Nemo’s while in Avalon. It’s a great place to order when it’s raining out and you can’t grill or want to have a hassle-free night. The Shrimp Cesar Salad was tasty. Cobb Salad was good, but avocados could have been a bit fresher. This could be due to the travel for delivery, though. The Antipasto Salad had tuna fish on it, which was a bit strange. Growing up in North Jersey, that is not how they make Antipasto salads, but it was tasty. Kids liked mozzarella sticks. Jalapeño poppers were cooked well. Pizza was okay. The sauce is very good, but the pizza could be cooked a little longer. All in all we were satisfied. The staff seemed very friendly and they even took our order after 9pm for delivery when they were closing at 10pm. Prices were the same as our local pizza places at home.

Because we had big plans for dinner, we sought good, inexpensive lunch eats, and Unilocal delivered in the form of Nemo’s. Nemo’s serves thin-crust pizza, which we prefer, in a cute little shop on Avalon’s main drag. We were thrilled that we could purchase individual slices and did not have to order an entire pie. Mr. M had the plain cheese, which compares favorably with Philly pizza. The crust was brown and crisp from the edge to the center. Happily, the cheese did not entirely cover the sauce and did not create the dreaded grease slick. Meanwhile, the sauce was balanced and flavorful. My veggie slice included spinach, broccoli, onions and fresh tomato. The veggies were well distributed and sufficiently plentiful that every bite included at least two veggies. For my taste, the cheese was a bit thick. As a whole, however, it was a good white pie.

Killer bacon and clam pizza and it’s consistent. I think they are friendly and they have also done a great job when I ordered enough pizzas for a big party.

Wow! That’s the pizza I came 3,000 miles for! Excellent sauce, perfect crust, and top customer service.

I was walking through Avalon, and hunger struck me, so I stopped by to grab a cheesesteak. I had the cheesesteak special(mushrooms, onions, and peppers) with bacon. It was fairly priced for the shore($ 10.70 altogether for the steak and a soda), service was quick, and the steak itself was one of the better ones I’ve had. On the flip side, the atmosphere was average at best, and there are no public restrooms in the restaurant, which isn’t really good for a place that offers sit-down. However, they do offer take-out, pickup, and free delivery, so they are still alright in that respect. They only accept cash, so keep that in mind if you decide to drop by or order out from them. I didn’t get any pizza this time, but given how good the cheesesteak was, I might pick a slice or two up the next time I pass by. Of course, given Nemo’s slight lack of sit-down restaurant essentials, it’ll likely be for takeout.

I am giving Nemo’s five stars because it’s the best(and, quite frankly, the ONLY good) pizza on the island. We ordered during dinner rush hour on a Friday in August, and our pizza was ready for pick up in 20 minutes. We have tried all the pizza on the island, this is really the only place that has good pizza. CASHONLY!!!

local pizza parlor, pretty much just like you have at home(if you’re lucky enough to be from the NorthEast). Food is typical fare, pizza served by the slice or the pie… only hint is to ask if the pie is fresh they’re pulling slices from, as it would be worth ordering a fresh pie to get them hot and right out of the oven. salads are fresh and large enough to share with a table. Open late on the weekends, plus delivery, so there is no excuse for ordering pizza anywhere else on the island!

Stopped for lunch on our way back home from Stone Harbor. Thought the pizza was actually pretty good~we had the white, broccoli and cheese and it was yummy. Our waitress was amazing. We came in right around 12 and it filled up very quickly and she was alone. Didn’t miss a beat~she was great.

I have been coming here with my family since I was about four. The food has always been amazing and even with the change of ownership, the pizzas are still the best in the state of NJ. The service is good and the restaurant is always clean. I recommend this place to anyone!

Extensive menu, tasty food, and good service. Dine-in or take out. Dine-in is very casual, typical of a pizzeria. I had the vegetarian pizza one evening and the eggplant parm sandwich the next. Both were good. Cash only.

Pizza is not worth it here. I’d only recommend getting a meatball sub or a chicken parm sandwich. Nothing special here except that they are open until 2am. Service is lame here as well. Blah but it works. CASHONLY

My god, awesome– had the steak Stromboli, $ 11 and that was enough for both my boyfriend and I. Maybe the person who reviewed before me happen to walk in on a bad day, but I was eatin the marinara sauce like it was tomato soup. Great place!

Stopped in for some slices and left realizing that I had just eaten the worst pizza of my life. The sauce tasted like Ellio’s yet it was watered down. Since the pizza hadn’t really been heated the cheese still had that been in the fridge all night look. I remember when nemo’s had the best speciality pies on th island and we would make it a point that every week we would get one. Now however, the owners must be different and so is where we will be getting our pizzas.
