We went here last night with friends. The menu is extensive. We had the spring rolls. You need a magnifying glass to see the portion. They advertised a happy hour drink special on their display outside, but said that it was seven years old. When we called them on it the manager offered to bring us on free drink. He literally brought ONE person at our table the drink! That was horrible! I asked for exrptra spice in my dish and got none! Soup was brought out cold and rice was crunchy. The eggplant was okay. Service was so so probably because we were a group of six and the tip was added in. We left saying that now we know why we prefer to eat at home

I thought I had written a review for this place but I guess I hadn’t.(Begins cracking knuckles) I found this place with my in laws about 3 years ago in our annual trip down to the Fort Lauderdale area. For kosher food it is good. For kosher Chinese food, its good. For Chinese food, it is «Meh», it is western Chinese food, so none of the real good stuff and only Asian fusion inspiration on a lot of dishes. I realize that doesn’t line up with the rating I have given this place. The reason for that discrepancy is because the types of dishes available are interesting and they do a good job to try and make them kosher. In Toronto, you really can’t find Kosher Dan Dan noodles, but you can here and that is what makes the difference for me. I like how they have gluten free options and they(last I checked) they open during Passover which is AWESOME. We try to go here every year we are in Florida and if you can, drop in and eat some noodles!

Okay. Where to begin. Walking into this restaurant, the place seemed a little run down, but I thought it’s alright I’ll get good food at least and gave it a go. I ordered and it was a bit pricey(15 $ for beef lo mein) but hey, good glatt kosher food right? I sat outside because I wasn’t a fan of the inside of the store. The store inside had packages on floors and tables and just wasn’t the nicest setting. The outside table and chairs were wobbly and not in the best condition and the street noise was high. I received my food finally and it looked very homemade and unappetizing, unlike the appealing pictures from the menu. It just looked like a small portion scooped onto my plate, which was just a simple plastic plate by the way. Sadly, it tasted like it looked, unappealing. There was even some water dripping from something above on my table so I had to move it over and ended up being in the sun the entire time — speaking of which, it was a hot day with no air conditioning inside, just a large and loud fan. Overall it was quite an inconvenient experience. I wouldn’t consider visiting anytime soon until some renovations and acts for customer satisfaction are set forth.

The food is delicious and the décor is beautiful. On a Sunday night the place was pretty busy. Most people chose to eat outside as there is a lot going on in the Waterways.(Lots of people of all ages walking around and such.) The tables are quite large and can accomodate large parties. I knew I would be late to the party, and the hosts ordred my food at the same time as everyone else. When I arrived, the waitress showed up immediately and asked for our drink orders if I wanted my food to be heated. I did not, but the hubs did. She arrived with the drinks and food quickly. I had the Mongolian beef and tbe hubs ordered the beef and mushroom. I read in a review that all the dishes hete taste the same? That was definitely not the case. The Mongolian beef wss sweet and garlicky, the beef and mushroom was quite savory. They were both tasty! What definitely added points here for me was that when I realized my 2 year would would need his own meal, the food was ready and on the table for him within 5 minutes. Waiting for anything for him can become quite a difficult situation with crying and screaming. All of that was avoided! My son is a picky eater, and he said the chicken nuggets were yummy. My favorite part of the meal was dessert. It can be difficult to find great tasting parave(no milk) ice cream and chocolate but this dessert was delicious. It was really a treat and a great way to end the birthday.

This place is located in the waterways shopping mall in Aventura. It is large and has many tables. They could use some better décor, but thats me! Service by a nice lady was impeccable! We ordered several chinese dishes and several sushi rolls. They were in most cases pretty good. Nothing stood out of the normal, but I did think we were not going to eat that well. So all in all, this experience was positive! Congrats… Enjoy

This restaurant gives a funny impression. Its trying to be upscale but it is not. I ordered several rolls of sushi which were fine. Nothing special and seemed relatively fresh. I ordered myself one of their famous cocktails which took more than a half hour to arrive at our table. Not only was I carded by the waiter who took my order for the cocktail I was also carded by the waiter who brought my cocktail. This guy couldn’t figure out how to read my ID and put the drink down and took my ID to someone else to read. The main dish was typical kosher chinese food. We got the orange chicken it was not as spicy as I would have preferred but it was fine. For dessert we ordered pecan pie which was absolutely disgusting. It was so hard to cut into and had a bitter freezer burnt taste. We sent it back because our waiter noticed how disappointed we were in it. We got the tiramisu instead which was as good as a pareve cake could be. overall it was not a bad experience.

This might be the crappiest, worst service restaraunt ever. I called 5PM for a promised 730 delivery. It is 8:50 and I am still yet to get my order. This is more than just stupid, absolutely ridiculous. What can I do but review. Hope that no one orders from this place ever again. All they do is break promises, shit business.

Good food and good service, located in a great people-watching area of an outdoor mall. Best Kosher Chinese food I’ve had since moving to FL. Fairly casual.

Worse experience in a restaurant in many years and worst in South Florida ever. Lady that took our orders(seemed to be either the manager or the owner) took the orders and brought whatever she wanted($ 60+ dollars of food were not ordered). Rude at the maximum, when I told her that was not what we ordered told me she already cooked it for us an was going to charged it anyway. My husband ordered a $ 17+ fried Rice with steak, and instea he got a $ 39.90 steak with french fries(that were even separately charged an extra 5 dollars)… No problem to pay the prices shown at the menu if you get good service and the food your order… Didn’t leave the place just because I was with the whole family and kids were hungry. A shame to go to a kosher restaurant and be ripped off like that… I felt robbed. Payed $ 140 dollars for 4 adults and 4 kids. I guess since China Bistro has a lot of customers, they do not care about customer satisfaction… JUSTBEWARE and choose another kosher restaurant since in the area they are plenty of options

It’s like a Chinese buffet in terms of ambiance and borderline cleanliness. The menu is extensive and includes sushi, numerous cocktail options and a letter from the Israeli Ambassador of Florida and PR… interesting. The food is not the best but not the worst which seems to be a good description for Kosher.

Hands down the WORST customer service I experienced in Aventura. On a busy night the food takes one hour to arrive and the waitress did not fill our drinks once. The place is very loud with screaming wild children and this is not an ideal relaxing place to sit and eat. There is a 15 to 20 percent tip included in the bill for the waitress to do nothing. One hispanic server was very rude at the checkout. WHY are some people in customer service if they can NOT treat the customer right??? LOL, what a joke. The food is ok but, due to horrible service I will never return

I was there for lunch. Had the sweet & sour chicken. It was dry, tough as if it had been fried for too long. And it had no sauce at all. Pale imitation of P.F. Chang’s.The service was good, except the server never asked me if the meal was good, so I didn’t tell him about my dissatisfaction.

Pros– nice outdoor seating. extensive menu. cons– we ordered 4 dishes– they ranged from mediocre to awful. the sushi rolls were sticky and fish was not fresh. the stir fried chicken and beef was really dry with a noxious chemically sauce. the noodles were overcooked and mushy in a noxious artificial sauce. main dishes took a long time to come out even though the restaurant was not busy. and the steamed dumplings were pungently gingery, Bill $ 93 for 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 glasses of wine. biggest waste of $ 100 since I went to the casino

Came here on a Tuesday night, beautiful weather so we sat outside. Ordered 3 entrees with 2 other friends. The ambiance is nice; the waiters seem clueless. My friends were served their entrees and mine never came. I asked twice and the waiter had a perplexed look on his face. After 20 minutes my entrée finally came without any explanation as to why it was late. The entrée(chicken chow mein) was good, and it was still hot. I’m not sure I would go back unless friends specifically wanted to go there as its not cheap for Chinese food. I also ordered wonton egg drop soup. While the beef wonton was better than your usual pork wonton, the soup was mild and bland. It lacked the flavor of egg drop.

Overpriced and ostentatious. The food is actually quite good. The ambiance is nice and you can people watch. The service usually is poor to adequate. Its a tourist trap. Glatt Kosher with a Reliable Hechsher. Reservations in the busy winter months are a must.

Dont let the large wintertime crowds fool you, but if you are among the sociodemographic subset of Americans who can only eat what the rabbi permits, this is a good choice. The outdoor setting is usually enhanced by live music, and sitting next to the fine mist from the fountains makes this different from your standard issue bland and tasteless kosher Chinese restaurant, but predictably the service is terrible and prices are high. Pro tip: All of the entrees taste the same, but the sushi is pretty good and there are some hidden gems in the appetizers. My favorite is the PF Chang ripped-off cool lettuce wrap.

We visited China Bistro on a Saturday night, the restaurant was more than half empty, yet the service was lacking(not enough staff.) It took 30 minutes to get the waiter to take our order, another 20 minutes to bring our sodas. The sodas were sitting at the bar for 10 minutes so they were flat by the time we got them. 30 minutes later we get our Chinese dishes, both dishes were cold, as they were probably sitting for at least 10 minutes in the kitchen until the waiter brought them to us. The food was below average and the service was pretty bad. I would stay away from this place.
