The review is mostly based on the lack of personality in the cashiers. You would think they would be hyper and bursting full of energy. Second reason it is super expensive! Its was cool, but I don’t like wasting money like that.

Sugar, sugar, sugar. Sugar rush anybody? They have bulk candy, funny candy, gag gifts, and giant candy. I’m trying to fun a reason to buy a giant rice Krispy treat or giant Hershey bar. They also have fun t shirts an knick-knacks.

We were excited to find IT’SUGAR in Aventura Mall. We usually get our gummy bear fix from the IT’SUGAR location in Atlantic City. This location is much smaller and the set up is OK. That didn’t really matter to us because they had our favorite item: mini gummy bears. I’m a big fan of this candy store but the cashiers on our visit were incredibly slow, unfriendly and busy talking amongst themselves. There was a whole lot of unnecessary attitude and all we wanted to do was purchase our bag of mini gummy bears and head out. We felt like being there was an inconvinience for the cashiers.

«Invention, my dear friends, is 93% perspiration, 6% electricity, 4% evaporation, and 2% butterscotch ripple» — Willie Wonka. Once in a while I get a goo on me for sour gummies. Doesn’t matter the shape, nor the size. I’m not fussy in my sour gummy quest. I’m not a bear lover nor a wormaphobe, all I ask is that they are super sour. Sometimes even skittles will suffice, the sour ones. It sucks that I work in a high end mall with a total dearth of low end candy suppliers. Usually I can rein in the sugar beast within until I can get home and raid the kiddies Halloween stash(it doesn’t take many to satisfy this beast… it’s more the IDEA than the follow through). Today however, the sour beast had been fed the awesomeness of some leftover Indian food and NOTHING would do to complete the awesomeness than some sour gummies. So I took myself off to the only place in the mall where I knew I could find the means to quell this sugar craving. The rightfully named It’Sugar. A veritable treasure trove for candy freaks as opposed to chocoholics. Bin after bin of confectioned sugar delights greet you as you walk in the door. Jelly Bellies, Skittles, Giant Haribo Cola Bottles, Liquorice Allsorts. They have both bags and boxes of all of your favorites together with their mix bag where you can pick and choose what your inner child desires. Lots and lots of great gift ideas and just small tchotche items and retro items that will make you want to buy them, just because you couldn’t when you were little. Anyplace that sells four and a half pound boxes of sour candies packaged as a cereal box has to be an awesome place. Right?
