Sushi is nothing special. Same a every/any other sushi place. Location is good, restaurant is clean, staff was friendly, prices are a little higher than your regular sushi place. If you’re at the mall and Crave Sushi it’s worth checking out.

Hibachi chef was wonderful. Servers perfectly aloof. Good food. I had the N. Y strip hibachi, the Meat was a little tough but still palatable. Veggies were PERFECT :) Service, prices, and ascetics can’t be beat. Pay no attention to the fact it’s smack in the middle of a mall, absolutely worth it.

Love this place! My favorite place to eat when in the mall given the slim dining options available in Aventura Mall. Shrimp fried rice is excellent, and I have never had a bad roll from them. The service is great – food is very fresh and clean and comes out very quickly and servers are always prompt and attentive even on a busy night.

Sushi Siam used to be one of my favorites, but recently they have been seriously lacking in all aspects of a restaurant. First off, the waiters/waitresses are rather rude. I came with a large group of people(they do not take reservations) and they seated us very quickly and it WAS a pretty busy day at the mall. They have so many options to chose from, and their sushi never fails to impress, but again, i recently had a horrible experience. I ordered the teriyaki salmon. My friends all got their foods at separate times which is slightly annoying and i just sat there, waiting for my salmon. I totally understood if my salmon took a few minutes longer than the rolls and fried rices, but not a whole THIRTYMINUTES. I asked the waitress where my salmon was and she looked at me with a totally baffled face! I clearly remember ordering it and she should have also. I saw her go quickly to the computer, put in my salmon(by the way my friends were already done eating), and then she proceeded in lying to me by saying the salmon was taking longer to cook because it was«salmon».(I knew she had forgotten!!) either way, it really did ruin my experience, for i had to eat HALFANHOUR after my friends had finished eating.

Came here on Christmas day, so not sure if this review can be applied to an average dining experience here. While the host and hostess were very friendly — the wait time for our food was unbelievable. I was a party for two and we knew that being busy we had to order right away in order to make our movie. We sat down ordered immediately with no hesitation(side note: they were not so accommodating for my mother who wanted her meal with the sauce on the side for dietary/health reasons saying they couldn’t do that) and finally after two flag downs, one walk to the hostess and an hour later we got our food. For the price I wasn’t blown away. 20 dollars for red curry… I’ve had better the chicken was chewy and less than ideal and one of my peppers was full on dirty/moldy. Stick with cheesecake or something else in this mall and you’ll be much happier!

Great service, decent atmosphere and they got us out in about 30 min on a Fri night. Only had sushi, which was decent, and a seaweed salad, which was overly and too sweetly dressed. But… WORST sushi rice EVER. Dry and bland yet sticky — so both the correct consistency and still awful. Actually ruined the rolls if was that bad. Sigh…

Snooty. Over priced Not welcoming The ambiance was nice but I just can’t get over the snobbish vibes I kept getting from the host and our waitress. No smile, no welcoming gestures.nada. The food was good but customer service sucked. Ever wondered why small owned food business get better reviews than mainstream businesses? This is why.

It’s alright … I came here while pregnant but won’t review that my taste buds were crazy. But came back after giving birth with my hubby it was good but nothing exciting. Like the food court at aVentura mall the sushi is the same an average. The seating is nice and so is the staff. The prices are average $ 12 – 16. I live in AVentura but Will not return.

I’ve bee a frequent visitor at this restaurant for a decade! I could not find anything more fresh & more rich in flavor of each meal than Sushi Siam in Aventura! I recommend the red or orange dragon roll, lobster rolls, the curry, salmon, calamari, frog legs, tom kar gai soup! Everything I have ever tried there I was very impressed.

Went here with my cousin. We usually frequent Sushi House NMB, but wanted to try something closer. Had the Red Dragon roll and shrimp fried rice. Amazing. The best Red Dragon roll I’ve had. Restaurant is very casual but elegant. Definitely recommended.

We came here to hang out and wait for someone. So we are at the bar and the bartender«Ji» is awesome. He was super friendly rally took care of us. I would have never thought it from a bar in a restraint in the mall but holy cow was he good. We will definitely be back.

Tuna tataki had excellent ponzu sauce. Beauty and the beast roll was decent but probably would not order that again. Hubby liked the beef salad he got. Overall the food was good and well priced but it had so much on the menu which is why they lacked on making the items outstanding. It just did not taste fresh like a sushi should.

This review update is for the Hibachi tables. The service was terrible — we waited over 30 minutes for someone to come and greet us, and another 30 minutes or more for the chef to come out — and that was only because a couple at our table flagged down the manager to ask whether they just have one cook for all the Hibachi tables on the floor, or we were simply forgotten. The menu prices seemed higher than those at Benihana, and they did not include a salad with the meal, like Benihana does, nor did they include vegetables, other than sauteed mushrooms. Complimentary tea is also not provided, nor is the Japanese onion soup with onions and mushroom — instead, you get miso soup, which was very salty and unimpressive. Yes, you get the ginger steak sauce, but instead of getting the mustard sauce for the shrimp and chicken, you get a sauce that is white and tastes like mayonnaise, so I can only deduce that it was mayonnaise. It was loathsome and I just ended up using the ginger sauce, as did my friend. The worst part was at the end of our meal, my friend and I looked at each other and both expressed how hungry we still were, which is unusual. We can barely finish our meal when we dine at Benihana without making a huge effort, or we end up taking food home. We had to buy a medium popcorn to share at the movie theater after our dinner, and finally felt satisfied after finishing it. To conclude, a dinner should not take over 2 hours from the time that you are seated, and it really should not be that difficult to have a waitress check periodically, but that is exactly what happened. Compared to Benihana, where you get more food and you’re pampered, it’s just not worth it at over $ 50 for two(and this was for the cheapest item on the menu — the Hibachi chicken). Come here for the sushi or the regular Thai or Japanese dinner at the table, but don’t bother with the Hibachi, or you will be greatly disappointed.

If you are having retail induced hunger, then by all means kill the beast in this place. The food is decent, but nothing to write home about. I think, I would have been more generous with my review, if the service was there, but oh Dear God! It is terrifying ordering from any of the servers, it feels like you have to use a minimum of words in order to place your order because if you exceed the allowable quota, you might get smacked in the back of your head. They do make awesome Lychee martinis, but you will get dirty looks from the bartender, if you just go to the bar, and don’t actually stay for dinner. Well, guess what buddy? You are the first person I’ll experience when my bottom sits at the bar, and if you have a poor attitude, what makes you think I want to experience the rest of the staff? Alas, I have experienced the rest of the staff, hence the review. I gave them two stars because I didn’t get sick from their food. And yes, I will continue to go park my tookus at the bar and order two drinks, and not dine at this place, just so I can annoy the bartender.

Borrrrriiiiiiinnnng! I must say, a date took me here on a Friday night and he lost major points after this one. First of all, the location is inside of Aventura Mall — loses major credibility in my book. Gotta love the nice big windows looking out to the kids popping in and out of the photo booth and people waiting in line to purchase movie tickets… not so much. They had a few habachi tables inside, but with the crowd they had people must not be too thrilled with them because only one was ever in use and the table wasn’t full. The sushi was decent, but for the first time ever I was completely full off of one roll because there was so much rice. I had the rainbow roll and the fish was fresh, but not worth going back for. In addition, I ordered a dirty martini and the olives were mushy as if they’ve been around for years. I’ll quickly pass on Sushi Siam next time.

Boa comida asiática. Preço justo. As mesas de grelhados são a atração da casa e diversão certa para as crianças. Sem som ambiente.

I came here for lunch with 2 friends. We were hungry and ordered a lot. They were quick to bring waters to the table, however the food took a long time to come out. We ordered steamed gyoza as an appetizer, they were really good, served with a tasty sauce. 20 or so minutes later our sushi and ceviche came out. I have to say everything tasted good, just took awhile to be brought out. The restaurant wasn’t even busy so we were peeved. After eating, we asked for separate checks. This took another ten minutes and caused confusion for our server. Now here’s the reason for the low star ranking… the server could not split the food the way we asked, so my one friend paid her cash and I was going to add the extra tip to my bill; problem solved! No… the sever collected the payments and walked away. We were sipping on our waters before heading out, when the sever came back to our table with the check my friend paid for in cash and told her that she paid wrong because she did not add any tip. My friend explained to her that I added her tip to my check paid with credit card. She was still not happy but said ok and walked away. WEWEREAPPALLED! How rude is that to ask for a tip?! Bottom line: the sushi was good, but the service was slow and the server turned us completely off.
