What a shame JCPENNY!!! No working bathrooms in the whole store and I have to go to the food court? Plus I don’t live here and coincidentally was here for work at Xmas, escalator wasn’t working, and it’s still not working ?? Shame on you. I wonder where your employees go to the restroom if you don’t even care for your customers

I went to the store and buy over 242 dollars, I show the coupon to the cashier while she knew clearly there is a discount today. I have to fight with her to give it to me and one of the head cashier told one of the cashier do not tell customers there’s discount today. It is a shame to see that I have card with jcp and still treated like shitttttttt. It’s so disappointed

I don’t usually mind this store. Sometimes they have great sales, but I had such a terrible experience the last time I was there. I used the women’s bathroom and it was surprisingly horrifying. It was disturbing how bad it was. Really makes me not want to ever go back unfortunately.

Horrible costumer service on the phone. Waited on hold for 40 minutes to get transferred 8 times to 8 different department. Turns out they don’t have an athletic shoe dept. the operator had no clue what was going on. She didn’t know the departments. Hire new people my gosh!!! If I could give a negative star I would.

This mall is full of people and I’m ready to go home. But it was a great family outing. I seen a lot of good deals I will most likely go back soon.

Was looking for Dockers, they have an ok selection at ok prices, The dressing room near the Dockers area was closed off with what looked like crime scene tape — no big deal I went to the other side of the store — The attendant waved me by — or at least I think she did b/c she hardly paid attention to me. Still no big deal. As I looked to find an open dressing room the only one I found was littered with tags and other clothes thrown on the floor that someone didn’t want. Whatever I just wanted to try on some pants so I did. All the other clothes on the floor — I picked them up and went to the attendant to drop off what I didn’t want and also the clothes that were left on the floor. I did her a little favor… I asked her where I could put the clothes and she pointed to the other side of the store .as if I was to walk over there to drop them off. yeah right… I explained to her I did her a favor and that the dressing room was a mess. I guess I should have just left everything on the floor… She said ok leave the clothes here on the counter then. So I did — and found someone else to check me out — long story short — JCPenney is only a step above ROSS — but not by much. sloppy dressing rooms, no real help and all the sizes and styles were all mixed up. I tried on 5 pairs and bought one — then bought the proper sizes for the rest online — yes from JCPENNEY. It’s the instore experience that is not so pleasant.

This review is strictly on the jewelry department at JCPenny. I went here to purchase a diamond ring as a gift to myself recently. I found a really nice ring on sale and asked the associate if the diamond was real. She stated yes, but as I looked closer I realized that the ring said simulated diamond. I questioned her about this and she stated that the tag must be a mistake because a simulated diamond wouldn’t be over $ 1,000 dollars. So I asked myself… Do I want to spend possibly thousands on a ring from a store that makes mistakes and prices fake diamonds for the price of a real one??? I think not!

The staff in the women’s department was super friendly and helpful. They helped me chose a purse after price checking several bags for me. When I finally decided what I wanted the cashier offered me a coupon for an additional discount, great surprise! The staff was very cheerful, completely different from the store near me. Also the store was clean and organized.

I have to admit, but only to the Unilocal folks cause its not really cool for a hip and happening chick like myself to shop here… but I do. And to confess… i’m probably not as hip and happening as I like to think i am. Tho my favourite shopping dig is Bebe. But where else can you get a pair of kick-butt pair of shorts on the cheap? or a pair of skinny Levis? No place but JCpenny! You can get sexy undies here, nice bras, now and again you’ll find a hip outfit, tho usually their styles aren’t my cup of tea. I’m mostly here for the denim shorts. And they always have some sort of monkey pjs for me! Yes… i’m cool… and I shop at JCpenny! So what about it! ha ha

I spend about half my wages each week on kids socks in JCPenney. At least that’s what it feels like. Between the sock monster in the washing machine/dryer and my littlest one losing his socks somewhere between school and Taekwondo and home, I have had to buy socks at an unforseen pace, thus singlehandedly boosting the sock industry economy of the USA while the rest of the economy tanks. But seriously folks. JCPenny is like somewhere your mom shops, and I’m a mom so I have absolutely no problem shopping here. I almost never leave without something for the kids because their kids department always has something on sale(today, flip flops reduced from $ 10 to $ 4.00 and lo and behold SOCKS — a six pack for $ 5.00). Its also a great place to build up a stash of those«oh shit I forgot so and so’s daughter’s birthday» type gifts to have handy because their children’s clearance racks are at times out of control(like $ 2 for jeans, and $ 1.99 for t-shirts). I also like to poke through the clearance racks to build my work wardrobe(black on black… so easy in the morning). Upstairs is the mens department and if anyone has seen the Britcom«Have you been served» well that’s what this reminds me of. Up here is the housewares and bedding and bathroom and man o man is this floor crowded. I keep away because it totally crowds my senses. The staff here however are SUPER friendly and helpful. It was not always like this but in the past couple of months the change has been remarkable and so they go from«a-ok» to «Yay! I’m a fan» for that alone.
