What a treat to get here and be overwhelmed with the BBQ choices. You can’t go wrong with the choices here and they sell it all to go including the BBQ sauce.

A hole-​in-​the-​wall with a variety of unique, homemade BBQ sauces and quality sandwiches. There are vegetarian options available, and the ice cream is lactose-​free. All you’ll find around the area is chain restaurants (like the Subway next door, which was full of people, sadly) or places that look too decrepit to enter. CJ’s is a solid choice if you would like a quick meal before continuing through Iowa.
