LOVE this place. I have a grocery budget of $ 300/month to feed a family of four and staying within that is easily accomplished by shopping here. Limited selection, no free grocery bags, and carts that you have to rent are not cons when you save so much money on your grocery bill! :) The employees here will gladly help you find things and(most of them) are very friendly at checkout! I like this Aldi better than others I’ve visited. It is clean and large, and in a safe area. Another bonus — Avon Aldi is next to the dollar store, so you can finish all your bargain shopping without even moving your car. ;)

As far as Aldi’s goes this particular store is always nice and clean and checkout is amazingly fast and friendly. Of course it is a great value as all the Aldi’s stores are.

I have been searching high and low to find some Gluhwein and Aldi came through! After going to Germany around Christmas time and have made Gluhwein, a hot spiced wine, a tradition every year. Aldi has been the only place I could find some and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Aldi is usually my secondary grocery source, not where I buy the bulk of my goods but definitely worth the stop. Their pantry staples like canned goods and pasta are crazy cheap and in my opinion just as good as most store brands. I’ve even come to prefer their granola cereal over most name brands. Their produce is fantastic and usually looks better than what I find at the major grocery chains. The only bad thing is their selection is inconsistent, so don’t fall in love with that amazing $ 5 bottle of Tempranillo because it might not be there next week.(Or you can do like I did and buy a couple cases of it. You know… Just in case.) Bring a quarter to get a shopping cart(calm down, you’ll get it back when you return it) and bring your own reusable shopping bags. This keeps those prices down, which keeps me coming back.

Great prices on fruits and veggies. Easy to get in, grab what you need and head out. Don’t forget to bring change for your trolley and bags for your stash. Currently have items for entertaining such as tiered serving dishes. If you are a baker they have splat type mats for $ 4.95 which is a bargain.

Aldi is not a fancy place but when you look at what they offer its a great deal. The Aldi in Avon is always clean and the employees are very friendly. For those of you who have never been to Aldi bring two things; a quarter for a cart and your own bags! Aldi is able to offer low prices because they do not have the over head of paying employees to keep the lot clear. Aldi also does not take credit cards, another way of keeping prices low. The selection at Aldi is pretty good! During fall they have an amazing selection of cheese! Believe it or not, their Winking Owl wine is very good for $ 2.89! Give it a try!
