Great place to go for party stuff. Got enough stuff for a big Thanksgiving dinner to serve 20. Great place for Halloween and Christmas decorations as well. Must go to place for school supplies as well. Products probably aren’t the best quality but when your kid is going to use the supplies up wether they cost a dollar or 3 dollars who cares.

I think we only ever come here around holidays. Last year we picked up about 100 glow bracelets to pass out with candy on Halloween. Before that, we bought a bunch of little kid’s Christmas gifts(toys, crayons, gel pens, etc.) here. And recently we got a bunch of plastic eggs and baskets for an Easter egg hunt. They have lots of great stuff. And yes, it’s all $ 1!

I like this location just as much as I like the Plainfield store, but I believe it’s slightly smaller. Despite the being smaller, they do cram a lot of product onto the sales floor, so the variety is great. This is my go-to place for gift bags, tissue paper, wrapping paper(especially at Christmastime), some office and cleaning supplies. Also, Avon’s store had a great selection of cute wine gift bags when I needed them for my wedding last summer. I searched and searched; low and behold DT was my last stop and they had the cutest styles.

Ah, Dollar Tree, the land of impulse buying. Seriously, sometimes it is fun just to browse and see what random items you find lurking around, especially those you suddenly must buy, I mean, it’s only a dollar! Some note-worthy things I like to get here for just that $ 1: greeting cards, gift bags/tissue paper, picture frames, pumpkin seeds, candy, holiday socks, candle holders, ice cream sandwiches. I mean, I could go on, but you get the idea. This place was also very helpful when planning wedding(ie. the bags & frames & chocolate [stress relief]). Keep an eye out on lower quality items and enjoy browsing.

This is the BEST place to get Halloween decorations!(Just ask my neighbors… all the kids who trick-or-treat LOVE my house and have told me so.) It’s also a great place to buy party supplies like colored plates, cups, gift bags, tissue paper, and plastic tablecloths. I usually will buy outdoors Christmas décor here too, like foam snowflakes(have lasted 5 years!), and cheap red and white stockings and red bows to put on wreathes. Nearly all that sort of stuff is made in China, and the 4 «cheap» bows at Lowes are probably made in the same factory as the $ 1 bows here, and look exactly the same. The cashier seemed kind of crazy though. A woman brought her cart back into the store from the parking lot, the cashier hollered, «Thank you!» then turned to me and said, «Did you see how big her legs were?(I hadn’t.) No one should wear shorts when their legs are that big. I have lost 50 lbs and I still don’t wear shorts.» I’m in shock at this point and have nothing to add to the conversation, but she keeps talking. Evidently, if it’s really hot, she wears her night dress around the house, then waits until it gets dark to go outside. Ummmm… She’s still railing on the nice, big-legged woman who brought the cart back. Evidently wearing shorts with big legs is right up their with drowning kittens and I had no idea. I NEARLY bolted from the store without my felt spider webs and orange plastic tablecloths. Weirdest check-out conversation EVER.
