Gordmans

Love me some Gordman’s. This location has a great selection of plus-​sized jeans. That is great for someone like me, who is on the curvy side of things. Their prices are also super reasonable. Most of the jeans are between $ 25-​$ 30! Heck Goodwill is almost charging those prices these days for used jeans.
You can quickly rack up points with their rewards system. It’s free to sign up, and you don’t have to carry around a friggin’ card! Bonus! They send you reminders to use your free certificates to make sure you don’t forget. I was even able to add my rewards coupon to my Apple wallet on my iPhone. Talk about easy peasy!
Every time I’ve been to the checkout, they have always added a cashier whenever they get busy. That has made checking out a breeze.
Their home décor section always has the cutest seasonal items. Love their perfume and jewelry selection. The back of the store has awesome buys on name-​brand shoes. The mens’ section is great with awesome deals on clothes and accessories there as well. There really is something here for everyone.

This place is the biggest train wreck I’ve ever seen in a retail store. Merchandise all over the floor, shelves half empty or more in some places and nothing to be found in its correct place. In addition, the line was half way to the back of the store with only 3 lanes open all at the service desk. We timed one guy waiting in line and it was almost 20 minutes. No way. I love Gordmans but will never return this store ever. Unfortunately it’s the only one in Indy.

Really love Gordman’s and the huge selection they have of pretty much everything. I mostly shop here around Christmastime, as I did this past year. They have great prices on gourmet foodie type gifts and are constantly offering coupons. This particular store was jammed packed with merchandise during the holiday season; making it a little difficult to shop around at times. I primarily go to visit the pet department. They have incredibly hard to beat prices on dog toys, beds and grooming products. Would be nice if they could expand this area a little more, as I’m sure they could bring in new clientele and keep current pet loving customers coming back. They also have great prices on Colts/​IU/​Purdue gear and a very large selection. I prefer Gordman’s to Kohl’s any day. Despite being overcrowded during the holiday, this store is much more organized than Kohl’s.

Great selection of clothing as well as home goods.

I find myself stopping at Gordman’s when in Avon but now making trips just to shop here. Sure, similar to Kohls, Target, and even smaller version of Home Goods for home accents and they are heavier on inventory of home accessories and seasonal items. Gordman’s carries a decent, but smaller than Kohls, selection of men, women, junior, maternity and children clothing as well as shoes, jewelry and more.
The prices have been comparable or less than other stores I’ve been shopping. The store is well organized, clean and everyone I’ve had contact with has been fabulous and friendly. Great regular sales; I found several expensive name brand items on sale at 60% off. I’ve had SIGNIFICANT savings the past two days on my purchases. I’m a fan for sure with the selection, service and savings.

Its like a big Kohls. Really not much more to say. There was really nothing at the store that I liked and I was pretty much bored to death as the wife shopped. The mens clothes are generic and very limited. They had some sports shirts and golf shirts… Not my thing.

This place is interesting. I can easily wander through here for a couple hours. They have a men’s big and tall section, which is great for my husband and I’ve gotten him pants and a winter jacket for some great prices. The women’s clothing is the only area that is a loss for me. The selection is just not that great and while the men’s department has clothes for working adults, I can’t find that so easily in the women’s department, or when I do, it’s not in my size.
Aside from clothes, they have so many random things, like a well priced perfume area, a cat toy brand that is hard to find (I have particular pets), and some great décor for the house. This place is more than worth checking out.

LOVE buying books here! They have the cheapest books I’ve ever seen! Not a great selection of infant (up to 12 months) clothing, though. :(But I will definitely shop here for toys, children’s books, & home décor!
