Great staff, Chris L. Was my sales guy, answered all of my questions, put me in a great car at a great price. Will buy from again.

I received an advertisement from Andy Mohr Nissan. On the advertisement were pull tabs with several levels of prices. There was a grand prize for a certain combination, which i believe was a new car. I believe that matching cherries were the dreaded «up to» $ 100. There were additional combinations for prizes in between. I had a matching row of 7s, which the chart showed to a win of $ 5000 in cash. There was an asterisk and small print that said the prize needed to be confirmed by matching what they had on file at the store. There was a toll-​free number to call to confirm your prize, which I called and entered the code on my form and got a mysterious message along the lines of «Your prize is confirmed, proceed to the dealership to collect your prize,»
So did I really think I won $ 5000? Not really as I”m a cynical person by nature. But I had a few free minutes, so I dropped by and checked it out not wanting to risk the possibility of leaving a $ 5000 prize on the table. I became less optimistic when I noticed another «$ 5,000 winner» walking in the store in front of me with her matching row of 7s. After taking down all of of my information they sadly reported that the store’s file did not match what what printed on my advertisement (shocker!), therefore the fine print asterisk allowed them to give me 3 gold coins instead of the $ 5000.
I left figuring that I wasted a few minutes of free time and didn’t really think about it too much at the time. But the more I thought about the more disgusted I became. And unfortunately for Andy — I have a few more free minutes tonight to write down a few of my personal thoughts on the matter,
While I’m sure it was carefully vetted by their attorneys, I believe that this is a slimy business practice lacking in basic business integrity. I can think of no reason to make it appear to people that they won a large prize which they did not, other than to deceive people who had no interest into coming in to listen to a sales pitch under false pretenses.
It seems to me to be a silly strategy. I wonder how many people buy a car after getting screwed out of a prize they appeared to have won. I will actually be in the market for a new car in the next few months. After this little stunt, I do not have confidence in the integrity of this outfit and will exercise my option to shop at any of the hundreds of car dealerships which do not contain the name «Andy Mohr». I would encourage anyone else to do the same. While I have never bought from Andy Mohr Nissan, I would estimate that I have done around $ 100,000 in business with Andy Mohr Chevrolet over the last 15 years or so. There will be no more. I hope it was worth it Andy.

The time had come for this Unilocaler to purchase a new vehicle. My good friend Jose had recommended I give his dealership a shot. Now I did do my homework Unilocalers and had been to several other dealers already. I was looking for a very specific type of vehicle to help me with work that would be depndable and have decent gas mileage.
I told Jose exactly what I needed and he immediately got to work searching out suitable options. He made a list of potential vehicles the day before I went to the dealer and personally test drove them all, ruling out ones that did not meet his standards. By the time I got there he had four very nice vehicles for me to look at.
After test driving one, I caught a glimpse of a beautiful 2008 highlander and I asked to drive it. Long story short, this was the epitome of a perfect vehicle for me and I fell head over heels in love.
When it came time to work the deal, Jose not only got me an incredible deal, he also got me a very high price for my trade in.

I bought a car from Andy Mohr Nissan in February of this year. I’m still in love with it. And my experience here was positive overall.
I visited this dealership on a couple of occasions over the course of several months. I found their salespeople to be very friendly and helpful. I ended up purchasing a used car from them and there was zero pressure to buy a new car, or for them to try and upsell me. I knew what I wanted to look at when I got there and they didn’t try to sway me from my decision at all.
We haggled on the price a bit and ended up settling on a number that I felt was really fair. A few hundred dollars under the TrueCar and CarFax prices I had. So I was happy.
A few weeks after I bought the car they mailed me free car wash coupons. Which I thought was a nice gesture. They also occasionally email me coupons for discounts on oil changes and service, but since I’m in Greenwood I likely won’t be driving to Avon for an oil change. But I appreciate the effort they make to maintain communication with their customers.

It was a pleasant car-​buying experience. We needed to buy at the end of a slow month, and the dealership was ready to work with us. Everyone was nice. No hidden costs. They made a reasonable first offer, and then a very favorable second one when they thought we were going to buy a different brand of car.
Financing was fine, too. No complaints.
