Big O Tires

Never buy tires here. The service is horrible. It takes all day to get a tire rotation. The last 2 times they screwed up the balance. Afterwords they said to bring it back and they will fix it immediately but. it took hours of waiting again. Terrible service. Save yourself the Hassel and go somewhere else.

This was the worst customer service experience that I have ever had from a business. I will never return or recommend this shop to anyone. After walking in the door and having to greet the salesperson that was staring right at me without saying anything. I had to explain to him multiple times of the service that I needed. Finally he had enough understanding to grab the needed paperwork to go out to my vehicle and get more information. Once we reached the vehicle the «Service Expert» decided it was a good time to check and respond to something on his cell phone as I stood next time him waiting. After 10 Minutes of him checking a few small things on my car we went back inside and he had to ask other associates 3 times how to enter the work order into the system. After the the person helping him literally wrote down the service code for him he still had a very confused look on his face. I was then told it would take 4 hours to perform a car inspection. After all of this I decided I didn’t want these people touching my car so I asked for my keys and left. While I was leaving the parking lot a saw a friend of mine walking in and he had just gotten a new set of brakes put on and by the time that he drove his car from the shop to work his two front brakes were smoking almost to the point of being on fire.
I called and spoke with the manager about my experience and he said that he would perform the work for free and get it done ASAP. I told him that I would not be returning

Went in this morning (got there at 6:40am) to take advantage of their sale, which begins today. Bought new snow tires. They open at 7am, and I was on my way by 8am.
Peter was very informative on the phone yesterday, giving me the «out the door» price, with no gimmicks. Love that.
Peter also offered free rotation of the tires, as part of the purchase, and suggested when to return to have this done. Also great to know!
I would’ve given them 5 stars, but for the second time, they neglected to put my summer tires back in my car, after installing my new winter tires. I was asked when I went in if I wanted the tires back and I told them I did. I didn’t realize they weren’t there until I was on my way to work, and had to turn around and go back.
Just be sure to point out that you want your tires back!
Good all-​round experience.

Just wanted to give an update on my situation with Big O Tires in Eagle Vail. I received calls from Bill, the Western Slope Manager and Peter, the store manager to try and correct my situation. We had already gone to the Subaru Dealership and had the sensor replaced. It was covered under warranty since they cannot prove it was «damaged». Subaru said the sensors do not really just go bad and Peter at Big O said that was his experience with Subaru sensors as well. Peter was very apologetic for what happened, as was Bill, and neither of them made any excuses as to why it happened. They both just took responsibility and made no bones about it. Although I wish we did not have to spend all this time trying to correct the situation, Peter at Big O did offer us a generous alignment package at no cost, and as far as I am concerned that is more than fair compensation. I was very impressed with Big O’s response and concern to to my review on Unilocal.Hopefully if any issues arise next visit, it will be resolved immediately. Based on what Peter and Bill said to me, I am confident there will not be a repeat of my unfortunate experience.

Excellent and quick service for me. Other shops were scheduling a week out. Peter, the service manager, was able to get me right in. After diagnosing a starter gone bad, he helped me get a fair price on a quality starter that was delivered that next morning and installed within one hour. I didn’t miss my car at all. If your car needs service, give these guys a call, they do a full line of service work on a variety of types of cars. All of their staff that I dealt with were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely be back next time my car needs service. As an added bonus, their hourly rate for service is the best in the valley.

I *rarely* have good experiences with automotive service shops — so rare that I felt the need to make sure I gave a good review. First off, Dave is the man! Dave helped me from start to finish. I left my car with them for a couple days, and Dave was great with giving me calls to update me on the progress. I needed an alloy wheel repaired, which they had repaired through a third party at a fair price. Then I needed two new front tires that had to be special ordered (discontinued tire). Lastly I needed an alignment, which John did a great job with. I’d love to give 5 stars, but the interior of the car was really filthy when they were done with it, and someone wrote something (not so nice) with their finger on the back of my dusty car while it was in their possession. Both things fixed with water and soap. Overall a good experience.

Excellent service this week!!!
Dave the service manager got me in for an alignment super fast and corrected a problem that was unevenly wearing a rear tire. Rafael who did the job took the time to make additional adjustments after another mechanic told me it had hit the end of the threads.
Also a few months back had an oil change here and Chris did a very thorough job and inspection.
I will certainly be back.

Do not take your car their, I have gave them several chances to make good on the bad experiences we have had at big O, but every time we go back problems.
They have tried to over charge us many time, but if you price around you realize what is going on with their service.

The manager is very miss leading! Make sure you discuss everything as I appreciate him taking my car I don’t appreciate him not telling me how long I’d have to wait. And he should have told me the actual price before they finished putting them on! While paying manager had to add that he thought he had told me all this. Not true! Even if I had to wait as long as I did and had better service better star rating for sure hit or miss I’d say

Excellent and fast service for a tire patch and oil change. I will bring my car back for sure!

Dave Antanies runs a good show. His crew was hustling their tails off getting vehicles serviced. Installed new tires, flushed diff and replaced rear shocks. Very impressed.

Terrible! 2HRS WAIT! This place gets SLAMMED with everyone changing out their tires around the same time every year. Best to drop car off (vs. waiting). Be the first few thru the door at 7am if waiting. Kind of like getting first tracks. Free flat tire repair was good. Free tire rotation good, but THE WAIT SUCKS!!!
