IRC has been around for a long time but that does not always translate into being «the place to go» for your music needs. Generally over-​priced but not outrageous, there is no real value added for the higher price.
No expertise in any particular area or special repair or customization ability, they have just been ‘ok’ for years.
The same is true for the store in the always congested and overcrowded Avon area, nothing real special here, decent variety and good if you need something small like strings, etc. For the most part you’ll pay $ 20 more for amps and guitars that you would elsewhere.
I wish there was something outstanding about this place but they’ve never gone that extra mile to be.
