Came in for lunch on my birthday a few days ago. We were there promptly five minutes after opening, so there were very few customers. Service was fine, food was great as usual! Only complaint is that we were given our receipt five minutes after our food was delivered. I felt rushed, which was weird, especially since there was no one else in our section. We were not offered dessert. I was actually planning on getting a dessert but changed my mind once the receipt came out so early. Red Lobster is my favorite chain restaurant, so I’ll come back again. Just hope to have a less rushed experience next time! :)

Great service last Friday night! The hostess at the front was great! It was hard to read his name but he did a great job and made our wait seem shorter because of his humor! Food was wonderful as well I had snow crab legs and the Bahama Mama was delicious! The manager took a minute to ask us how our meal was and if he could do anything for us which was a nice gesture to end the dinner. Great experience overall for our first visit there!

Aside from the bartender concocting the worst Cosmo ever, my wife and I have never been disappointed with this restaurant. Love the new coconut shrimp with habanero pineapple sauce.

My husband and I have enjoyed this location for years… always the same: I order wine, he has a margarita and we have lobster pizza. Love it. Our choices from there vary, and tonight was a game changer. I ordered a small salad(no problem… have always liked their vinaigrette) and then a bowl of steamed mussels. The mussels came and they were really, really good. Great presentation, flavor and size for the money. EXCEPT… only half had opened. Our waitress, who was wonderful, noticed and insisted on sending the manager, despite our protests. I’d had plenty to eat, and did not want to make a scene. When the manager(I believe her name was Nikki) arrived, she immediately approached with a defensive attitude, starting with«what seems to be the problem?»…I reiterated that we had not asked for her, but went on to explain that half of the mussels served had not opened. She smiled and stated that she understood, they are«hard to open». My husband immediately pointed out that you should not open mussels that have been steamed and don’t open on their own, and her response was that Red Lobster’s are pasteurized so it’s «fine». Neither one of us could hide our surprise to this response… she thanked us for coming in and left. End of story. I was and still remain stunned. When we go to Red Lobster, we don’t expect high end fresh flown-in seafood. We don’t. Our expectations are for really decent food, a nice quiet meal in the bar and consistent service. Never do we expect to have a discussion with a manager forced on us, and certainly not be treated with condescending disdain. I’m forced to re-think that lobster pizza now.

One great server in a sea of busybodies. Food: Great food for old people with no tastebuds. Food was underseasoned, the haddock could have very well been tofu it was so tasteless. Service: Several of the female servers gathered in a group near the hostess station and talked about the patrons that had just left, making fun of them. Thankfully I had the one server in the place who was actually doing her job and not participating in the gossip fest. Amanda B. was very friendly and attentive. My tip reflected her stellar service. It wasn’t her fault the food was best suited for nursing home fare. Cleanliness: I unrolled my silverware and a fork had food caked to it. Management should take a better look at how dishes are being cleaned.

We’ve been here a few times and always had good experiences. The food is(I assume) the same as every other Red Lobster and the quality has always been good. It’s the Midwest, so don’t expect Fisherman’s Wharf. What’s always done it for us is the service. Every time we’ve been here our server has done a great job and given us a pleasant experience. Keep up the good work!

Lovely Tuesday brunch. Had this crab scampi appetizer with no tomatoes and I dipped toast and ate it was lovely and I had a ceasar salad which is very important because #1 that’s my first salad that got me into salads and #2 it was my first meal of 2014 and I had gotten a lobster bisque to go with it but I loved the salad so much I got full and had to box my favorite entrée to take it home cause I was too interested in the salad to eat my fav soup anywhere. So anyhow I ate that salad today with shrimp and it was lovely it’s been a few hours and I’m still full from it and I’m happy I went there for lunch. It’s not crouded at noon on a Tuesday by the way so it’s a nice place for an early lunch too.

For the price they charge for seafood here I am not sure why people come here. It had been a few years since I had last frequented a Red Lobster so we gave it a whirl. I got a Crab and Seafood bake. This came out and had crab legs which were good but the shrimp and tiny scallops were literally swimming in grease and butter. There were also red potatoes and a half corn. The potatoes were so soaked in the butter that you could not even eat them because they fell apart when you picked them up. If I am paying $ 20+ for a meal I prefer not to have to go to the dr to have my cholesterol checked after. Sadly 2 other meals were swimming in grease as well they were pasta dishes. Oh well everyone else seems to like to eat here.

This place is my guilty pleasure. I don’t come often but when I do it’s always good. I always get the fried clam strips and shrimp scampi, and of course binge on the garlic biscuits! If I’m feeling really skinny I’ll order the crab Alfredo, it’s delicious. While it’s not like the seafood from home, it’s good for Indiana. I always sit in the bar and the waiters are awesome, great service.

Red Lobster never fails to impress! I got the 4 course feast which was fantastic, but it was topped by the service. We had a group of 12 people. Not one time did we have to ask for a drink, and the waitress kept the table clean and everyone satisfied. Very pleased!

Revisited the Avon location today and was not disappointed! The service was wonderful and the meal my sister and I had was delicious. I had the Alfredo Crab Linguini and she ordered the KIDS size crab legs with a side. Perfect meal.

I don’t like seafood, but everyone else did. I ate parmesan crusted chicken, which was very good! It came with a pasta that was cold, but the chicken itself was good. The service was bad! I am not sure if the server was new or what, but he was not good. We order drinks an appetizers and I guess he thought we were joking about the appetizers because he said, «oh, you actually wanted to to enter those?» Yes, we did, which is why we ordered them. It did not get better from there. My food was good, but I don’t think we will be dining here in the future.

Good quality and fast service. Not the freshest but we are 700 miles + from the ocean. Bang for the buck for Shrimp Fest!
