The iShop

Will not be returning. Brought in 2 iphone 4s for broken screen glass replacement. It was towards the end of the day so I said next day would be fine. Never received a call they were done. Stopped by on the 2^nd day and they still were not done, not even started. Received a call a few hours later they were ready and I would receive a discount for the trouble. (25%) Phones look fine but you can definitely tell they used glass from another used phone, there are little knicks in it, even in a circle outline around ear piece where a case was on it. If these weren’t for donation I would of pushed back harder. beware and check your devices closely before leaving!

Have sold a few iPhones to Josh and had him swap out a few broken screens. Always had a good experience. I’d recommend this business.

Was looking around on Unilocal for the closest iPhone repair place to my house and iShop was nearby. Checked out the website and it looked pretty legit so I stopped by.
I took in an iPhone4 in that would not completely start up and kept boot looping. Within a couple minutes Michael (I think that’s his name) showed me where there was internal water damage in the phone and the battery contacts were corroded. For $ 45 he put in a new battery and the phone now booted up and charged, albeit very slowly.
I now have a previously bricked iPhone that was mostly brought back to life. I found out that the iPhone would only trickle charge, and had a fried Wifi/​Bluetooth chip which they are not able to fix.
The only thing I would recommend to the guys at this shop would be to better document in writing the diagnosis and outcome of the device repairs to not only protect yourselves, but your customers as well. You could prevent these «he said/​she said» negative reviews on Unilocal because these people signed off on nothing that shows the condition of their device before or after they came into your shop. If you do this right, your accusatory customers will not have a leg to stand on.
The service was fast and I would not hesitate to come here again for glass or battery repairs. They also sell a good selection of Otterbox cases, and the old eMac-​turned-​aquarium is a nice touch.
