Waited an hour and a half today and left without a hair cut. The barbers here spend more time talking to each other and chatting with their clients currently in the chair them they do cutting hair. They do a great job, but I don’t have time to wait 2 hours. We’ve been going here since they opened their doors, but today was the last time.

We have been coming since they opened day one. My seven year old and my brother have both gotten their hair done here twice a month. They always do a great job. Sometimes you can tell some of them don’t want to be there but they are always great at what they do.

I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone Caucasian. Apparently they only take Hispanic people… I stopped in for a quick cut the other day. (I’m white) I walked in, wasn’t greeted by any of the three working there, they pretended I didn’t even walk in. I made it a point to say «good afternoon» and yet still nothing. Alright well I needed a cut so I sat and waited. It was apparent that there was one gentleman ahead of me so I figured it wouldn’t be too long. After about 10 min a man with three 10 – 12 year old kids walked in. He was immediately greeted. The guy in front of me was up on the chair, then another chair opened. Without even looking at me once he quickly grabbed one of the three that walked in after me. So I waited to see if the next barber would do the same. Which he did. I waited 45 min until walking out. Terrible service. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

So I visited Oscars barbershop for the first time today and i feel as if i got a half ass haircut that honestly only lasted 10 minutes but still having ti pay full price. Nothing is more worse than getting a haircut and having to go home and fix the barbers mistakes. The staff was friendly, thats pretty much the only reason i didn’t complain and kept my mouth shut. But the guy that was doing my haircut seemed like he was in such a rush and did not take his time as all but the funny thing is the shop was dead.

Best barbershop in Avondale HANDS DOWN. I’ve personally been a client of Oscar for 10+ years. He has this shop in tip top shape with the shop full of barbers ready at your service. You will have a pleasurable experience and an exceptional hair cut on top of that.

This place has good barbers but is always packed and understaffed. The cuts are worth the wait. However, the guy who makes it clear he is the owner almost of the time stops his cuts to answer his cell phone. Which makes the wait even longer… Still waiting.

Well I used to like this place but the last time I went in they told my son he was next and then proceeded to call up 2 other guys that walked in. surprisingly customer service is no longer a priority at this local shop. What a disappointment.

Hey a good old time barber shop where the guys take their time, listen to what you want and then professionally cut your hair. Not the fast and pseudo-​stylish. salon cut where they throw water on your hair, cut it a bit, say it is stylish and you are done in 10 minutes. Sit back, take your time, these guys look at your hair not themselves in a mirror. And the price is about the same, maybe a bit less. Great place for us guys, check it out.
