My favorite here is the chicken bowl and it is filled with beans, rice, chicken and cheese and with either corn or flour tortillas and pico de gallo MMMMMMMMM

The main reason to go to juan pollo is for chicken but they ran outta white meat the guy was very rude he was giving me attitude this was my favorite place to eat but they lost my bussiness plus there not very clean the worker was lazy it felt like he didnt wanna be there

When I first came into this place months ago, I was told they did not have and order of chicken at the time. At a much later date I returned and ordered chicken tacos which I thought were very delicious in a flour tortilla. It was quite good and I would recommend any other version such as tostadas, chimichangas, and any other variation to have a good meal here. They also sell whole cooked chicken and have a lot of specials going on.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to get your chicken. There is a lot of great dood here and the sidedishes are reasonably priced.

I’ve heard good things about Juan Pollo, and I was glad when I just happened to pass one while I was out in the Azusa area. I ordered the one chicken meal with 3 sides (potato salad, rice, beans) tortillas, and salsa, great price $ 14.99. Like the other reviews have stated the chicken is better than EPL, you get more chicken than the EPL meals and it’s juicier. One star missing for two reasons: (1) the portion of the sides, they were all supposed to be medium but they seemed to be a small (however — they were good and the potato salad really did taste homemade) (2) the ambiance could really use a makeover, a remodel of the inside would do the trick and an updated menu to order from– the current one looks like one from an old burger joint. Other than that I was satisfied with the food and the speed of getting my food – the cashier got it ready right after I paid and I didn’t have a wait.

Good value and food. Like el pollo loco. skin is a little salty, but chicken was moist. made a burrito at home with the rice beans, chicken, salsa a tortilla. We got the full chicken meal. We still had two pieces left from our meal and there were three of us.

Came here after reading reviews that it tastes better than pollo loco. I bought their tuesday special and it was a disaster. The chicken was dry and salty, and what people said to be their «famous» potato salad isn’t even good. Such a total waste of money

Pollo doesn’t get any better than this. It’s better than EPL. Brought in a coupon for the $ 20.99 family pack.

I’m a fan. Not just for the deal but for the oh so succulent chicken.
Homemade potato salad is almost like my mama’s. Uh, that’s pretty darn good. Especially because I don’t like anyone’s potato salad other than my
mom’s.
And…so you’d probably expect finicky me doesn’t really care for pinto beans. That’s right. But these are good. Throw some on your chicken in a tortilla with a little salsa. Mmmm.
Why won’t I give this place 5 stars?
— Rice was a little on the salty side though the generous chopped green onions were a nice touch.
— Turn up the AC a tad in your restaurant though I can rationalize that’s how you keep your prices low.
Kids loved it. Hubby enjoyed it. We have a lot of leftovers. Dinner tonight and probably lunch tomorrow. Mama is a happy camper. Thanks Juan Pollo!

Uh let’s talk about how fresh everything was here. I wish we had one of these in Vegas! I’m not a big rotisserie chicken fan and when my GF said she wanted to get the lunch special (which included two pieces of rotisserie chicken) I was thinking «okay…i wont be eating lunch» LOL. It’s just usually too dry for me no matter where I get it. This place surprised me though. The lunch special comes with half a chicken, yellow rice, potato salad, five tortillas, salsa, and a drink. It was more than plenty of food for my GF and I.
Now, don’t get me wrong — the sides of rice and potato salad aren’t your normal amounts. They actually come in small containers but it was still plenty of food and everything was really fresh. Plus this place is stupid cheap so there’s nothing to complain about, really, except the woman working the register should smile a bit more. Regardless, smile or no smile I’ll be back.

I used to eat here, but I won’t be eating here ever again. I tried placing an order over the phone — the first time I called, the lady who answered sounded confused and asked me to call again. The second time I called, the man who answered hung up on me. I called a third time, thinking it might have been an accident. He finally takes my order and I was ordering for a small gathering the next day. I asked him for advice about how much chicken he would think I’d need and he seemed annoyed. When I asked him to give me a total, he put the phone down and I heard him complain to his coworker in Spanish. Sadly, I know Spanish. He was so off-​putting I called him back after placing the order and canceled. Thanks, but no thanks. Horrible customer service.

Their chicken tacos. oh my goodness so delicious! Their rice and beans are perfect. The staff is always so welcoming. And the smell of rotisserie chicken will just drag you in for sure!

One star only cause the chicken is always perfect. Usually, choose to order here for monthly associate meeting. The order is for the party pack with 10 chickens and four additional chickens… about $ 165 dollars. One day they tell me next time to call two hours before, so I do. Now they say to call 24 hours before. The guy was seriously annoyed to take my order. Do you want the business or not? To top it off this pass Friday, January 16, 2015 the salsa we got was spoiled. I nearly threw up! With all this being said our company will no longer go here but drive further to Juan Pollo off of Azusa in Covina. I hope their customer service and salsa are better.

Delicious & Juicy Chicken Served In Just Seconds. I highly recommend this location to all my friends and clients at our gym Pure Living Fitness of Glendora just down the street.
Never has anyone ever came back unhappy with the food or service.

We ordered for a big Company Halloween Party– Food was beyond our expectations!
Usually when you get something catered there is a lack of quality because its so much food and the caterer wants it done quickly but the chicken & sides were better than ever and the delivery guy was awesome. Thanks guys! We will be ordering again for sure.

tip: $ 5.99 lunch special for half a chicken, yellow rice, potato salad, tortillas, and free drink.
Chicken was a little dry by can’t really complain since it was breast meat. The roasted chicken skin was perfectly seasoned. Potato salad was great and the seasoned yellow rice was good as well but a bit salty. The 2 sides were good sized portions. Choice of corn or flour tortillas. Even includes salsa on the side. Free drink so got a horchata. Dunno about free refills.
Overall, a great and super quick place to grab lunch in the azusa area.

This place always is outstanding with the service they provide! Fresh chicken, and is always great! Never dry! Always wet!!! Walked in to buy a soda for the drive home, it’s too hot out side! Keep cool and fresh go out and buy dinner from here!

My friends always compare Juan Pollo to it tastes almost like Pollo Loco. It’s true it does have similarities but I feel Juan Pollo tastes a lot better, and my friends agree with that too. I ordered their lunch special and it was delicious.

Something changed since we last ate here. It was pretty decent for 8 years I’ve been in this hood.
It’s not the same now… different beans, rice, salsa and potato salad. Potatos were actually under cooked too. They should warn you.
That’s a bummer. More boring then ever now. Chicken was ok. Not the most helpful cashier either.
