Witnessed a guy throw his salad back at the counter attendants and say«this is the worst salad I ever had» The salsa /condiment bar was an absolutely gross unapproachable mess. Cilantro and salsa everywhere. Red Flag #1 The two girls in front of us waited for 5 minutes in line before our take out order was taken. We originally were in the drive-thru line when an employee waved us in and said«there’s no wait inside» While in line we noticed piles of burnt chicken in the food prep area. Not good. I placed my order for 2 crispy shrimp avocado tacos. Boyfriend orders Mexican Caesar bowl with a side of black beans. We got our order BEFORE the two girls ahead of us. One of them even said«how do you guys get yours order first and all i ordered was a salad» … Once we got our orders home. My tacos were very sloppily folded in foil, and they were dried out chicken and not shrimp avocado at all. Boyfriend’s salad had zero dressing, wilted lettuce and dry chicken. NO dressing. He couldn’t even eat the black beans because they were beyond salty. NO Silverware, No Napkins, No Salsa I don’t see myself returning to this location ever again. What a total disappointment. And why does it smell like a fish or aquarium store? Yuck.

I asked if I could get a three piece chicken combo with legs & breast, a diet coke and two brocolli orders. Was told yes, then got home to find 1 leg with 2 thighs, one broccoli, one black beans. As for the coke, I found out when I started feeling lightheaded, then checked to see my blood sugar was high, that it was NOT the diet coke I had ordered, but regular coke full of sugar.

This is the only one around and it’s really disappointing management cannot do a better job. Everyone continue to come because like I said, it’s the only one around. Salsa bar is always dirty. Service is extremely slow. They are always out of things. Employees are super young and just don’t care. If they could just get some new management, maybe they could reclaim this place. My order is always wrong. It’s like that just don’t care. I have given this place so many chances. Today I am just done. Drink was wrong, forgot my chicken legs, no salsa. Of course I looked in the bag before I left, so i caught all but the drink. I refuse to go back until this place gets new management.

I HATE this location. They don’t tell you the truth. Why charge me for a combo meal and find out… once I get home that my meal(tostada salad) is missing guacamole, and rice, instead of letting me know, they didn’t say anything. Why? This is the only job you have and it’s pretty simple, take an order make sure it’s right, and be truthful or anyone can file a lawsuit against ‘abusive charges to the consumer’. This isn’t the first time this happens… I gave this location a break and now I truly regret coming back.

Horrible service! I just ordered a burrito and it wasn’t even wreaked right all the food inside fell out and it tasted so bad. This is the second time this happens to me!!! Their food presentation is horrible and very messy! I get that they are a busy stop but they need to train their employees better or hire more people… Never going back their again! Check your order before leaving!!!

I come to this location regularly because my grandmother loves it. I have noticed on the past few weeks that this place is VERY dirty. The employees don’t clean the tables regularly or even sweep. When I came in tonight, I was so disgusted by the trash all over the floor. To make things worse, EVERYSINGLE table was dirty. When I say dirty, I mean trash and food stains all over. They were not busy at the time, so I don’t see the excuse for the employees not being able to make the dining area presentable. When I asked an employee to wipe down our table, he politely came over and cleaned it, but he didn’t clean any of the other tables in the dining room. He quickly went back behind the counter. What worries me is if the dining room is this dirty, what does the kitchen look like?!

This place always has issues. I was nice enough to give them a four last time they screwed up and left a pollo bowl out. Paulina was cool to hook me up last time. Just this last time was the WORSE customer service that I’ve ever experienced. Anyway. I don’t know who they hire here but damn. Service effin sucked. I just got off work and was going to order for my girlfriend and I. The guy on intercom asks how I’m doing blah blah blah. I told him to hold on, we had just pulled up. He seemed upset already and inconvenienced. I didnt take long to make a decision. So I finally start ordering a two piece combo for my girl friend. Side order Broccoli and rice(she always gets that). He asked me if i had finished ordering. Then i said no not yet. Then I said hold on. I hear him over the intercom say«fu#$$» under his breath. I heard it loud and clear. I got pissed. Confronted him about it. Cussed at him told him I wanted to talk to the manager. Spoke to her. Expressed my anger about how that jerk shouldn’t be working on the intercom. She said she’d terminate the dude. Who knows if she did. I wouldn’t want an a hole with an attitude like that who treats customers with disrespect like that to work for me. Overall the manager is what gave this place an extra star cause I would have left it at a one star.

I blame myself for not reading these reviews. Slow service and to top it off my chicken & shrimp salad only had one shrimp. My chicken breast salad had a breast the size of a thigh. This franchisee has low standards or is getting ripped off by his employees. Either way, I won’t be back, ever. Next stop — Irvine– HQ.

Horrible customer service at the drive thru… pulled up at around 7:30PM and they are telling me I have to wait 20 minutes for 8 pieces of chicken… how does that make any sense? This place is a called El Pollo Loco is it not? Workers are on their phone while customers are around… this place is a joke… I hardly do reviews on fast food joints… but was extremely irritated that I couldn’t resist… stay away if u could…

Things here are so messy. They are very inconsistent with their menu as well. My salads are different every time. Plus I’ve had multiple occasions where they messed my order up. Every time I come inside the store the crew is laughing and joking while nothing is getting done. I asked for guacamole salsa because it was empty and it took them 15 min to bring out a new one. I really dislike the one branch in glendora. They are very terrible.

I went through the drive through about 15 minutes ago. I wanted to order a large tortilla soup however, they said there was only enough for a small. I asked the associate if there would be enough chicken because I didn’t not want a cup full of broth. The associate told me they would add extra and when I got home to open my bag of food, the soup had maybe a few pieces of chicken and the rest was broth. On top of that my Mac n cheese was cold, and my skinny quesadilla had no cheese. It’s really inconvenient to go to El Pollo Loco and have such bad service all the time.

Well for beginners it’s across my favorite DCFS Office!!! Can’t wait until I transfer here!!! Anyways they have a pager so u can wait sitting down while your order is being prepared, just like at a restaurant eg Tahoe Joes one of my favorite restaurants ;) so trying the carne asada burrito ;) n of course must get chimichanga cheese cake yummy!!!

This place is always a crapshoot. About half the time I come here I have no complaints. The only reason I come here at all is because of Glendora’s limited fast food selection. Whoever manages this place really needs to do a better job with inventory. Today I came in and they were out of regular tea. Another time before this, while in the drive thru, they hastily gave me my food without asking if I wanted salsa. I looked in the bag to find there was no salsa, asked for some, and was told they were out at the drive through window, but if I liked I could park and walk in and get some myself. Seriously? Another time before that they were out of drumsticks. Or there was the time where I asked for the spicy red salsa and they gave me pico de gallo and I didn’t notice until I got home. I always end up promising myself that I’ll never come back, only to give them another chance months later and end up disappointed again. The food’s good when they have what you want. Service usually isn’t bad either. Another thing that isn’t specific to this El Pollo Loco, but they always ask you what kind of salsa you want when your order, then ask you again when you’re at the window. Please just ask once, it’s annoying having to repeat yourself.
