Ground Transamerica

My wife and I wanted to take the bus to Atlantic City. We found the website for Ground Transamerica Inc. I called because it says to «Make a reservation». I called on Sunday and was told that it’s not busy on Mondays and there’s no need to make a reservations and to get there by 8:00am since our bus would be leaving at 8:15am. We got there and purchased our tickets from Nathan’s hotdogs (Westbury NY).
It’s 8:30am and still no bus. I told the lady at Nathan’s and she called the company. She then told me that they decided to bypass the stop because there was no reservations. She put the operator on the phone and I explained my story. She was not so nice. Just said I don’t know who told you to just show up but you need a reservations. The lady from Nathan’s should have called when we got our tickets to say we have costumers waiting for the bus. Now it gets better, the lady said «Can you get to Garden city?» I said yea but what time does the bus come. She said he usually gets there by 8:30am but he’s running late so get there ASAP. My wife and I drive to Garden City to see about 15 people waiting. We met others that were from Commack NY that were waiting at 7 am for the bus and they also decided to «By-​Pass» the stop and they drove all the way to Garden City for the bus. We get there and it’s 8:45 am and still no bus. 9:00am No Bus. Finally at 9:20am the bus gets there and ITS PACKED! Only 5 seats left. We couldn’t board the bus. We were very upset. The driver didn’t care. I called the company back and the lady didn’t care either. Didn’t even say I’m sorry to have had made you go back and fourth. Could have gave us a deal for another time or something but nope nothing. Our day was ruined. I was off work today and my wife took off so we can have a nice day in AC but nope. We did get a full refund which I was happy because the ticket did say Non refundable. I always took buses from Glen Oaks NY on the LI/​Queens Border and never had a problem. I won’t ever use this company again. They didn’t even have a Unilocal until I made one. I hope others write reviews about this company.
