Waiter took our drink order on Saturday and then disappeared! 35 min later and he never came back to our table. It seemed like other tables were waiting as well. We paid for our drinks and left.

This is one of our favorite spots now. We were going to another local wine/cheese place, but the portions were small compared to Molto Vino. I find the crab cake salad amazing. The fresh greens with the lemon viniagrette dressing is delicious. The crab cakes are not too heavy — in fact, they are baked. The cheese platters with lightly toasted bread with olive oil is most impressive. Good quantity. The manchego cheese is divine. Service can be slow. I agree with the other reviewers. That said, don’t be in a rush. The staff of Cassandra, Michael and the others are all wonderful people and you won’t be disappointed. BTW Alex is fantastic! A week later he remembered our names and was very gracious! Love this place! Give them a shot. Just don’t take my window seat. :)

For date night with your girlfriends or even a first date — this is the perfect spot. Their cheese boards are on point and the staff is very friendly.

Came here on a Sunday and had an incredible experience. The ambiance is memorable and the portions are great. The cheese plate was wonderful and intellegently paired with top of the line wine by the staff(Steph and Lauren). It takes a lot for me to venture out of Manhattan but i will definitely be back.

If you love wine and cheese then Molto Vino is a slice of heaven. Love the vibe — has such a city feel to it. High tables with cushioned stools and a super dim atmosphere. Great wine selection — I ordered a glass of Italian Pinot Grigio and had it to go with a cheese board to share with 2 others. Their prosciutto is so ridiculously good.

what a cute little place. Good wine selection and the pizza is really good. The chairs are like sitting on fluffy pillows. Definitely check this place out if you like wine bars.

This lovely Babylon restaurant is a great place to meet friends after work or for an upscale meal and glass of wine. ***Our server Michael is primo. His knowledge of the menu and his interest in our overall experience made our evening special. We connected with his energy. ***Thank you to Cassandra, too. She is as lovely as she is fun.

Went there after walking out due to poor service from Barrique. Had a great time. Fantastic wine selection. Owner friendly. Showed he really cared about his food and customers. Highly recommend to all.

My BF and I come here all the time… The service could be better but the food is outrageous… My favorite cheese here was the baratta and the chorizo is delicious… The amount of cheese and meats you get on one platter is fabulous… My favorite wine here is the golden bubbles… we will be definitely coming back but the next time bringing our friends…

A Babylon staple. Attentive servers, knowledgeable sommeliers and an eclectic«tapas» style menu that hits on Old country sensibilities. Brick oven/wood burning pizza oven churns out the thinnest crispiest pizza pies a true paisan can write home about. Ciao

3.8÷5 When you walk in, you automatically feel a Manhattan wine bar vibe with the music, dim lighting and décor. All are high tops with padded stools– you sit where you want. I was recommended the Guggenheim Malbec which was delish and I loved the huge Bordeaux glass they served it in. We ordered the marinara thin crust brick oven pizza(pretty good) and ended up trying the margherita pie as well. Pizzas aren’t huge and we were hungry lol. Also ordered 1 meat 1 cheese board which I was surprisingly impressed by the portions. Food was good. The only downfalls was actually the service(servers seemed to share the table responsibilities. They were friendly but lacked in attentiveness). When we wanted to pay, we brought the check to the bar bc we didn’t feel like waiting anymore, only to find the 3 servers chilling behind the bar. Also– if you looked up at the ceiling above the bar there were flys!

Great location– great space including a back terrace(weather permitting) intimate and cozy would best describe this wine bar. Lots of wine and pizza made fresh to your taste. Had a margarita with extra basil– thin crust and delicious with the bottle of red I had with it. Gelato here is good– had the pistachio though I tasted almond… Hmmm Super friendly bar staff and servers. I’ll def be back.

I enjoy this place a lot. I’ve been here a few times. I don’t only come here if barrique is packed; I feel the vibe is very different and it depends on your mood which one you decide to venture into. I like the dark setting inside of molto especially while continuously talking, eating cheese, and drinking wine it makes me feel comfortable like I don’t want to leave. I admit I think the service can be better but honestly our waitress was awesome and def let us know the molto platter was gonna take a bit Bc a lot of people I’m assuming were ordering the same shit. She was cool and it was busy in there so we will let is slide that she wasn’t able to check on us right away but she came eventually and brought the honey I had asked for about a half hour later but hey, better late than never right … It gets packed in here and it was this night as well. Typically, a lot of «chatty Kathy» Cougars infest this place but whatev it’s cool. Ladies be prepared to be sized up and stared at for a good two min upon entering lol… I prob wouldn’t come inside with more than 4 people just Bc of the size of the place but I am all for the intimacy and personal feel of this place with my pals. I think maybe also their charcuterie is a little over priced for what you get. Yes it seems like a heaping portion Bc the bread is under the cheese(on our platter at least it was) but $ 32 for two meats and two cheeses seemed slightly steep. I’ve been to numerous wine bars especially as of late and I have received a lot more for less $ … Next time I visit here I’m looking forward to their patio for some chill time with wineeeee They have a nice selection of wines and yes I brought one to go :)

This was our first visit to Molto Vino and not our last. We have been to Barrique down the block but this is our new favorite place. The wine selection is fantastic. The meat and cheese platter was very generous.

Somehow, half of the time I end up here, it started with intentions of going to Barrique. Barrique always ends up with an insane wait, so I move down the street to Molto Vino and take a seat right away. Their pizza is just as good as Barrique’s, and though the cheese selection seems smaller, it doesn’t skimp on quality. As far as I know, most of their cheese is still supplied by the cheese shop next door. You can order 2 cheeses as well(I believe the menu options skip from 1 to 3 to 5) but just ask your waiter. The wine is very good as well. I’ve had their paninis which are delicious. The vibe is also great here. It seems quieter than Barrique, which could be because the crowd is less or maybe because the restaurant is wider. But I always feel so relaxed when I am here. Many times I have been here on a weeknight and gotten lost in coversation well after I have finished all my food and my wine, and rather than push you out now that you’re no longer spending, they will actually still provide waters. Oh, and I love the new addition out back. A cute little patio to relax in the late evening sun on a weekend. Outdoor seating is surprisingly hard to come by in Babylon Village.

Some of the best, most authentic true wood burning brick oven pizza I have ever had. I wish I could finish one by myself. Pleasant knowledgeable staff that is definitely educated on wines and cheeses and it shows. The platters are amazing. The roasted peppers definitely do not come out of a jar. They taste like they’re made in house. The salads are fresh and enormous. The panninis are very good as well. Great experiences there and if you haven’t yet been there have great expectations.

First of all the key with this place is know why you’re here. This is a great place for fine wine, fresh meats & cheeses as well as authentic brick oven pizza with homemade dough! It’s an older/mature crowd and the vibe is definitely«chill» so don’t plan this as a stop by after Mary Carrols. Secondly, it’s a wine bar. There are no shots of fireball or Jameson, so that crowd isn’t there either. Perfect place to act like an adult. This is not the place for a sit down dinner. The menu is for drinking heavily and«picking» on fine foods. There are delicious paninis, but that’s not what I consider dinner. Last, but not least, it’s classy. If you don’t have any please don’t walk-in.
