i love this place! I worked in the area for a while and this place is one of my favorites. They have so many options for ice cream it was always hard to choose which I wanted. The people that work there are friendly, patient(because I can’t make up my mind to save my life) and helpful as I couldn’t decide between the final two flavors, they offered me a mix which I didn’t know was possible! Everything is fresh, and their pricing is more then reasonable. Definitely check this place out!

Wanted to find a new ice cream place and so here I came. The place is clean and well kept and the person working there the day we came was friendly and nice. After looking over the menu me and other person split the Half Baked Sundae-Crushed brownies topped with vanilla and chocolate ice cream, cookie dough, hot fudge, chocolate sprinkles, whipped cream, and a cherry. I was a little bit confused because we got soft serve chocolate and vanilla instead of the chocolate and vanilla ice cream that is stated in the description, maybe the time I come I will specify I want the ice cream and not the soft serve. The ice cream was fantastic. The cookie dough pieces aren’t what one is used to, but that is quit alright because they are tastey, they are small squares of cookie dough and boy did we get a lot of them. The brownie on the bottom of the ice cream was rich and chocolatey. All of the other toppings were fresh an delicious as well. The dulce de leche ice cream was rich and tasted as it should. I also got 3 dark chocolate Oreos to go, that were $ 1.30 each I believe, but they were too sweet for my taste. As this place has no seating we sat outside on one of the stone benches. Would be nice if there was seating on the inside and real plates and silverware, but as the ice cream tastes delicious I will over look that. However, if it is a hot sticky summer day I wouldn’t want to sit outside with my ice cream or want to get ice cream in the middle of the winter. Overall, I would definitely come back to this ice cream parlor again and make my own sundae this time without the soft serve. They do have a birthday club where you get free ice cream on your birthday so if you want free ice cream sign up and there are also coupons on their website.

I wish you could give half stars because i would give an extra half and make it 3.5 if i could… the ice cream itself was very good and they have a ton of different flavors. They have a lot of styles too ranging from frozen yogurt to soft serve to coconut milk I’ve cream to Italian ices to good old fashioned ice cream. The negative of this place was the price. I don’t mind Spending money on food… at all… but when it gets down to it… this is just scooped ice cream and for the prices they are charging it is a little high. Again… very good… but prices should be lower

Sweet Sensations has many flavors of ice cream. I only tried the hard serve. It definitely is! If it’s not a hot night, it takes a while to achieve my preferred degree of meltiness. If you like your ice cream with candy bits, you’ll get a kick out of this place. Many varieties with PB, which I like. Though, most of the ice creams are vanilla based, which was a little disappointing. This is my first ice cream in Babylon, so I can’t compare to other shops in the neighborhood. Doesn’t compete with the gelato at International Delight Café. The Linderhurst Louise G also has more flavors. It’s a great addition to your trip if you are already eating in the neighborhood, which has many restaurants but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here.

I was very happy to find a local ice cream shop that offered a coconut-milk based alternative. I had a small(2 scoop) coconut chip with extra hot fudge. The coconut chip«ice cream» was delicious, and I could tell that it was homemade as advertised. I was just a little upset with the amount of hot fudge I received. If that is their«extra» portion, I would love to see their normal portion. I do not think there was more than a teaspoon in there. Oh well. I am still very happy and will be back.
Great little ice cream parlor in down town Babylon. They have a great variety of hard and soft serve ice cream flavors. I can’t get enough of the banana soft serve. It’s basically vanilla ice cream with flavored syrup but it’s so good. They also sell candies, chocolates, novelty ice creams and the such. It’s a nice place to come for a treat. Just note that there is no seating either in or outside.

Cute little ice cream shop in Babylon. They have non-dairy ice cream alternatives, made with coconut milk instead. Three flavors available — chocolate, vanilla, and toasted almond. I went for the toasted almond with rainbow sprinkles. It was pretty yummy, I liked it a lot. But after awhile, it was really sweet — I couldn’t even finish a small. I’m sure I’ll be back — and will report on additional flavors in the future. If you’re not familiar with the area it might be hard to spot at first. Prices were okay, was just under $ 7 for two small ice creams.

Always good. Where else can you get flavored soft serve? Chocolate coconut is delicious, just say away on weekend nights. Looks like a Justin Beiber crowd in the parking lot…

Just the spot I was looking for. Homemade ice cream. And they’re creative and clever with their flavors. But beware of the specialty cones. You won’t get a man sized scoop. I’m sticking with waffle next time

I’ve been going here since I’ve moved to Babylon and I only wish I knew about it sooner. This place has the most delicious homemade ice cream and the best peanut butter sauce I have ever had! The owner is friendly, kind and she’ll create whatever you’d like for a cake… including any image you can imagine to place on the cake. The are so many flavors from which to choose… did I mention the rainbow cake ice cream has real chunks of rainbow cookies?! Right down to the coconut ice cream made with real coconut milk for those of you who may be a little more health conscious… get to sweet sensations so you don’t miss out!

Awesome! Great selection of flavors and the frozen yogurt is sensational. I was very impressed with the birthday cake for my daughter party. Everyone complemented the creativity of the cake and it was not freezer burned like most of the cakes from caravel. I will be ordering a cake for all my future parties.

Being a diabetic has it’s many, many down sides especially when it comes to eating and more when it comes to eating sweets. I was so excited when I found Sweet Sensations had not only sugar free frozen yogurt but that they have a machine that allows you to have it in so many different flavors! IF you can find sugar free yogurt it usually only comes in chocolate and vanilla. Not so at SS. They even have some sugar free candies, toppings and best of all, sugar free chocolate syrup that tastes good which most don’t. Best part is that their sugar free yogurt is also fat free AND super low calorie content :) All the deliciousness… not so much guilt. The fact that it has somewhat an old 50’s shop appeal to it is cute though as some of the other reviewers said the décor and setup in there is a bit busy. Still, it seems to work and doesn’t detract from the tons of items they have there.(Chocolate covered bananas? YUM.) They are a little tucked away but if you’re local you know where to find them. The only down side — terrible parking! But worth it to park and walk — especially to help burn off the calories :) Definitely recommend for anyone with a sweet tooth and esp for diabetics looking for the occasional sweet treat without all the sugar!

I’m pickin’ up Sweet Sensations She’s giving me excitations TOO.MANY.OPTIONS. Sweet Sensations, nestled amongst some joints set off from Main St/27A, is recessed only in its location. The location is prime, with parking surrounding it, and it’s run by a nice woman woman helping a staff comprised of young(er-than-teenage) girls with customers. It’s loud, with signs advertising the amalgamation of sugary products they offer. I found the place a bit contrived, as it doesn’t have the feel it should, especially if they cite homemade ice cream(which I’d dispute to the grave). Luckily, flavors are fairly innovative and tasty/refreshing, albeit a bit overfrozen. Far from a dying breed, places like Sweet Sensations somehow seem to defy the recession, with tacky displays and chemically dangerous sweets. The store was a bit unkempt midday considering it’s not busy then, aside from the skateboarders outside. I aggregated some Entertainment coupons, to the chagrin of the teenage girls who are a true testament to the inferiority of the U.S. school system in the Math domain, Long Island parenting, and the economy all wrapped into one. 24 flavors of «soft serve”=vanilla/chocolate with infusions, not actual flavors, though that’d be pretty striking… got the german chocolate/crème de menthe alongside each other, and a large with one of the Entertainment coupon I’d amassed(which they were more than willing to accept) came to $ 2.68. Large spread of hard ice cream, including the PB Cookie Dough/Rainbow Cookie/Cotton Candy Explosion trio I went with on one occasion, for $ 5.20 with a printed Entertainment coupon. They proudly amassed the assortment of tchotchkes they’d collected, but they overrun the place, and should seating would suit the place a bit better, even though you can sit outside.

Little ice cream place with a lot of goodies. Located in a little strip mall, it is virtually impossible to know it is there unless you are walking around the town of Babylon. They have a variety of ice creams /yogurts /ices and candies to help you hit your sweet spot, no matter where it is. You have to run a gauntlet of teen girls to get get into the place on most nights. Parking is on the street.
