This is, by far, the dirtiest Panera in the DMV. People crowd around the entrance smoking cigarettes, even in bad weather, and the inside has been getting steadily dirtier over time.

This Panera is at a great location, right on Route 7. There are many shops in the area so having a fast food, but healthy option is great. It’s a busy place with your«Starbucks» type customers who sit at the tables to use the wifi. It’s also not always the cleanest. But that’s to be expected with the«squatters». I guess that’s why I don’t like eating in there. I picked up the Frontega Chicken Panini which wasn’t all that flavorful. I chose the apple as a side and they gave me the smallest apple I’ve ever seen. The meal was just okay. I was hungry and after I ate my meal I wasn’t hungry anymore… so theres. that.

I will always have a place in my heart for Panera. Breakfast is a tried and true favorite. The soufflés are great, with crunchy flaky crust and soft eggy insides. Today I tried the butternut squash ravioli for lunch. The portion was not as big as expected, but the flavor was good. The order came with 9 ravioli(I counted) and was topped with arugula and fried onions. Those onions added a lil something that kicked it up a notch. Add in an extra large hunk of sourdough(end piece – score!) and it turned out to be a filling meal. Of course I got a drink and added in the 99 cent cookie. Because what meal isn’t better with a cookie? The staff here are friendly and quick, and the morning rush isn’t so bad there’s a line, at least not around 9am when I usually arrive.

People are allowed to cut the line by going directly to the counter. The manager looks the other way. I have had enough. Count me out from now on!

I love the customer service ! The hazelnut coffee is amazing! They have fresh bagels every morning! There tomato soup is to die for! I’m a regular at this location; I always receive a warming welcoming when I walk in. There’s a manager there she’s Asian and very young. She’s very sweet! She always gets my order right and fast! I work at Petco so I need my food quick.

I’m sitting in the store while writing this review. Normally, I would love to give this place 5 stars. However… Panera stop selling their best sandwich! The chipotle sandwich was so amazing, because of health or preservative issues they gave it up? Why not find a better substitute then that taste the same? Oh well. My cashier, Albert, was fantastic he recommended the frontega chicken panini… Though it was no chipotle sandwich I could see some of the relativity between them. It was good. But as he explained it, it’s calm not exotic like the chipotle sandwich. Anywho the 2 star dock is mainly for taking away a great sandwich! But great service! Thanks Albert!

Been eating at Panera for years, but the quality continues to decline, to the point I’ve decided to just stop eating here. The menu options are sorely lacking, fewer than there used to be. My favorites have also been retired, no more French onion soup or chipotle chicken-bacon sandwich. Everything on the menu can be gotten elsewhere at a cheaper price, so what’s the point?

Long time Panera lover, first time at this location. We ordered food to go– just a couple of pick twos and some dessert. The staff was very nice and very accommodating. We even actually ordered our food wrong, and told them and they fixed it for us very quickly! We were very impressed with the speed and their ability to accommodate. Like all Panera, the food is good if you get what you like. We got our usual food and it was tasty. This is a very«middle of the road» Panera as far as they go. Definitely better than some Panera I have gone too, but not the best experience. For meat eater, I highly recommend the Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich. For veggieheads, you can’t go wrong with the seasonal Strawberry Poppyseed salad sans chicken! Enjoy!

This Panera seems to be a community hub; I met my wedding planner here years ago to talk over coffee. I came here to work on homework, and could see other people doing business lunches or working on a laptop. It’s nice that they’re welcoming to people who have hustle and bustle to take care of. I ordered the mac n cheese and fuji chicken salad as a you pick two. I always love their mac n cheese, but the fuji chicken was a new one for me. I liked it! I could’ve done with a little less onion, but I really liked that the apple was dried. I’d order it again.

Poor parking. Dangerous parking. Locked restrooms to keep the homeless out. Staff in slow motion. Got sick for three hours after eating there. What a disappointment. I really like p-bread:(… Not this one!

Very bright Panera location! I was here recently on official business with a guest and really enjoyed the place. It had a good vibe to it and although busy I noticed the tables were being regularly cleaned off after patrons had left them. The windows and blue sky outside made the place seem bigger than it actually is, and the room was filled with chatter and laughing — at least during my visit there. The service was quick despite there being a queue to get served, and the customer service was polite, friendly and welcoming. I would definitely keep this location in mind the next time I find myself in this part of Bailey’s Crossroads.

I like Panerna b/c they bake their goods fresh unlike Starbucks where their stuff is trucked in. This location is very busy and you could actually get hit by a car crossing from the parking lot. I think they need to staff up. Every time I’ve been here, the dark roast was down to a few drips. The staff is really nice though, and helpful.

Honestly, this Panera is exceptional. Never enjoyed it from prior experience but their sandwiches are amazingly fresh and makes subway’s cold-cuts look like food from the soup kitchen(not to sound derogatory). What impressed me even more is there frappucinos – Icey chill and rich in flavor. Atmosphere is pretty spacious and lively. Not too small nor crowded after 5. Staff is efficient, friendly, and consistent with pace. Priscilla was an awesome employee: energetic, generous, and precise with every order. You’re lucky if you encounter her. Overall, this Panera met beyond expectations and a great place worth coming back for. Bring a friend when visiting! Note: Does not apply to Panera but traffic outside the lot sucks.

Stopped for lunch during crazy Saturday shopping; the place was packed but the line moved quickly. The register guy was patient and good at his suggestive selling. The couple I was with love Panera and specifically requested this for lunch. The food was good and I am now a convert. The lunch options of half of 2 different things is perfect for the indecisive. The salad was light and the perfect healthy option to balance the 99 cent pecan roll staring at me for dessert. I could have stopped there. The flatbread was not too much and tasty. Unfortunately, the tables were dirty(in their defense, the place was busy but I didn’t even see anyone trying to keep up) and bathroom was dirty.

The food is consistent. Good coffee, sweet treats, sandwiches, soups, salads. The clientele and environment just sucks. I do not like the vibe, the crowd, nor the atmosphere. Get your food to go. Tables and groups of men from various countries that I get the feeling don’t respect women that much — they come here, gather, talk, debate, yell, smoke cigarettes outside, linger for hours. They just stare, talk loud in their native — foreign languages. I don’t like this location — not one bit. I think the issue is — the countries where they may come from, the men have a gathering place to hang out ***all day***…so they do it a Panera. Problem is, when a paying customer wants to sit — eat food and have a nice experience, its too crowded — no place to sit because you have to deal with people staring, lingering, not in a hurry to leave. Not a good vibe. Reminds me of the Starbucks around the corner at Bailey’s Crossroads. Sucks.

Ignoring the fact that Panera is really faux-«healthy» food, I don’t understand the hype of this chain. This is the location closest to me and I only dare eat here in a pinch. Several months ago, I got the turkey avocado BLT(which I had gotten before). Even typing it nauseates me. This is because either I had a very coincidental flu bug that kicked in the same night I ate it, or I got food poisoning. The lack of a fever points to the latter. As you can imagine, I can’t even smell that sandwich again without feeling the urge to go face deep in a toilet. This past week I finally returned, as our options were limited and my wife still likes the place. I went with something totally different to avoid sensory induced illness and got the pasta. As my picture indicates, it’s a terrible choice. For a whopping $ 8.49 they give you about 2 dozen noodles. At any italian restaurant, this is considered a side of pasta for your meat-based entrée. Nope, here at Panera, this is the main course. Extra insulting is that they showed me the size of the container beforehand, then proceeded to fill it ¼ of the way. What in the world? I can’t help but feel like I was really cheated out of my money, and the pasta wasn’t exactly fresh made either(what at panera is? answer: nothing). All in all this location will never see me again, and I hope to never step foot in a panera nationwide again. But save yourself some money and don’t get the pasta. Enjoy your flavorless salads, white meat that they clearly add cosmetic grill marks to, or paninis so fresh that they can’t 86 ingredients because«that’s how they come.» Anyone who thinks panera is fresh or healthy needs to do some more research!
