Stopped in for lunch in our way to look at the beautiful Aspen trees changing colors on Kenosha pass. The food was delicious(and all made from scratch). The staff was very pleasant and atmosphere was relaxing. I highly recommend the French Onion soup!

I friendly and clean place to fuel up after a long hike. Service was slow. So, don’t expect a quick visit.

We are locals and can always count on a good meal with friendly service. Everything comes out quick and is fresh. Great local wine selection. Great place to stop in for a snack like wings on the way home from fishing.

We stopped in for breakfast after camping and our way to hiking. The food was delicious. I had a skillet, my husband had an omlette and our daughter had the chocolate chip pancake. The servings were big enough to take half home and enjoy another meal. The service was great, really friendly and extra nice to our toddler. We’ll definitely go again.

A solid find on the way back from Pagosa. We stopped in around 5pm on Father’s Day — starving and frustrated from trying to get around oblivious RV and angry Dads in minivans who can’t accept the fact that they’re driving minivans and heed the«keep right except to pass» signs. Anyway… We were greeted by a very friendly host who seated us on the patio and brought huge bowls of water for our 2 dogs, outside the patio fence. Service was friendly and prompt. Draft beers were cold. We had the southwestern chop salad, sweet potato tots, prime rib, Bailey burrito, kids Mac and cheese, and kids chicken tenders. Everything was spot on. It was great for our Father’s Day dinner, and we look forward to stopping in again. My 2 year old boy LOVED the elks and mountain lion decorating the interior so bonus points there. Only nitpick — the kids crayons were all broken nubs, less than an inch long… Seriously, you can’t spring for new crayon packs?

Fantastic Service!!! And the food was wonderful! After hiking with a group of 10 others, we stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. The staff immediately put together tables for us and were extremely efficient in taking our orders and serving us. We had a variety of dishes from the elk stew to cheeseburgers — everyone raved about their lunch orders. We stopped by the following Saturday after another hike and again, great service and food. The manager and chef even visited our table to ensure all the food was prepared to our liking. Two thumbs up to this place and we’ll be back!

Oh no… I stopped here on my way back from hiking with a friend. We walk in and they immediately tell us that the kitchen is backed up. We ask if there is anything we can order that wouldn’t take long. They respond with«maybe an appetizer so that we can get everything rolling.» «Ok, we will have the nachos.» «Those take a little extra time is that ok?» The nachos come out and the cheese isn’t even melted. 10 minutes later. «May in please have a glass of water?» Yes of course 10 minutes later without water. Our burgers come. There is no ketchup on the table. «May I please have some ketchup?» «Oh you would like some more ketchup?» What is happening? How can service and food be so terrible?

Popular place to stop on a drive in the mountains! Breakfast and lunch menus. We sat outside in the patio. We both had a burger which was good and homemade chips! They sell Coke products which is a winner for me. Service was good and friendly even tho they were busy. This place has a story too with old photos. Fun!
