Great food, great drinks and great service! Their burgers are unique, and make sure you try one of their bloody Mary’s! Will defintley be back next time we are in door county.

My 3 girlfriends and I went here for Saturday karaōke and were not disappointed. It was the most amazing variety of people and there is a shower you can sing in. Everyone was fairly intoxicated by 9pm and some girls were tryin to sing karaōke and crawling around on the floor. Don’t try and hip check the bonus hole machine because the large bouncer man well yell at you.

Great appetizers. We had white cheddar curds and the fried corn. Both were delicious. Our party had the walleye sandwich, the pub burger with fried onions and cheddar, & the White Out Burger. All was delicious. Our beers were nice & local. The bartender seemed to be doing double duty as our server and he kept up admirably. Come here if you want pub grub that a high cut above the rest!

We found this place by sheer coincidence. We were across the street at Stone’s Throw Winery, and were starving. The year was probably 2013, but that’s not important. What is important is the walleye fingerlings that they serve here. They are absolutely phenomenal! I had thought about that dish for years after. It was so memorable that when we were up again at the winery, that we didn’t hesitate to stop back in for a bite. We were worried that it wasn’t going to be as good, BUTITWAS! The walleye here is the best fish I have EVER had. Tasty, just lightly coated, and perfectly cooked. A dipping container of remoulade sauce was available too. Go here, and order fish.

Went on Sat. night for prime rib. The staff were extremely friendly. Nice casual bar atmosphere. However we were the first and only people there for an early dinner, and the food took close to half an hour to arrive. For two prime rib and one fish sandwich, we can’t imagine why it took so long. Are they just hoping you will order more drinks while you wait? Neither of those items take that long to cook. . That being said, the prime rib was top notch, and deep fried corn on the cob was wonderful. Homemade potato salad very good too. Prices were reasonable.

Great fish fry for sure. I like the atmosphere too. My favorite fish fry in DC. I never had their other food besides appetizers but always tasty fish.

I’ve always heard great things and I had to experience it myself. Bakon bloody with all the fixins. Hangover burger with peanut butter, jelly, an egg and bacon! Nice wait staff and delicious food all around. Would come back to door county next time and make this my first stop and my last

Very dark roads that make it seem like you are in the middle of no where! But worth the harrowing experience as the Peninsula Pub came highly recommended to me from some locals and it lived up to all the hype! Saturday night karaōke? Check. Cheap beer and drinks? Check. A DJ that plays tunes you can dance to all night? You bethca! And all of that adds up to a fun night in Door County without all the crazy tourists underfoot(oh wait…I guess we were those tourists on the night we were there…but since I once lived in WI, I’m going to go with I’m a local still!) And here we are all these weeks later still talking about the«shower stall» that sits behind the DJ booth. What was that for? Those folks that can only sing in the shower? And stay tuned for the fun doesn’t stop there…sometime during the night, they were giving away Jello shots. Jello shots? Geez, I love Wisconsin! So get in your car and head on those crazy dark roads to the Peninsula Pub. It’s worth the effort for the fun you will have!

It really is a hidden gem. Out in the corn fields you probably won’t happen upon it unless you’re looking for it. The North by South East burger was very impressive. And they have a great bottled beer selection for a «small town» bar. The bar was also really clean inside and out.

This place is excellent for a burger and beer. The service has always been wonderful and they have some unique burgers. The classic Pub Burger is always a good pick, but I’m more partial to the North by South East because damn this is amazing. It’s a BBQ burger with bacon, cheddar cheese, fries and cole slaw IN the burger. This is a great place to go after playing golf or just enjoying some good pub food. You can’t beat it.

This place is really a hidden gem. It’s a well-maintained, but unsuspecting building in the middle of some farmland just outside Egg Harbor. In fact, you could easily miss it if you didn’t have these reviews to tell you how great it is. So you’re welcome. I was told Peninsula would have the best burger and Old Fashioned of my life, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The Pub Burger was really tasty and held up well, and I liked the mixed greens instead of a lettuce leaf. There was something perfectly smooth and sweet about my Old Fashioned that was way better than anything I’ve had before. I wish I could’ve finished it, but I had to drive afterward :(

I came here because I heard about Saturday night karaōke and this spicy wing challenge they have. For me it is a 45 minute drive. This is your typical dive bar stuck way out in the country somewhere in the middle of Bumblewhat USA. The only thing that might be bothered by the kickin karaōke music is maybe a couple of cows and a chicken or two. This little bar has a modest selection of most common bottled beers and liquors. There are 5 taps. The menu consists of the standard items you’d find at a bar. Things like fried cheese curds, burgers, fries, onion rings, pizza, wings, you get the picture. They also lay claim to some of the hottest wings in the county. They have a challenge which I wanted to do, but they don’t do it after 6 pm. I guess they’ve had to clean up too many hot wing challenges that were prompted by too many shots of liquid encouragement. The successful fire eaters not only get the 10 wings free, but they also get a t-shirt and their picture on the wall of flame. I ordered the garlic parmesan wings. They were some of the best wings to come from a bar kitchen. Tender, juicy, and very tasty. The Karaōke DJ knew how to play to the regulars with song selections she played between karaōke rotations. There is no dance floor, but a few tables moved aside makes due for a little boot stomping. I’ll be back through this area again one day, and when I do that wing challenge is mine.

Went to this place with some friends a while ago. We went on a Saturday night looking for a place to have some drinks, and the Peninsula Pub definitely delivered. The bar wasn’t packed, but it was lively, possibly because it happened to be Karaōke night! My group of 8 or so college kids was clearly the only non-local group there, but everyone welcomed us and chatted/danced with us all night. I’ll definitely come back. Oh, and did I mention that at midnight they gave us FREEJELLOSHOTS?!

Great fish & chips! We all had the perch, which you don’t see everywhere, it was excellent. They also have great Bloody Mary’s. it’s obviously an older bar, but it felt very clean. Good value for Door County.

We received a recommendation to try to this place from some locals at Casey’s BBQ. So ended up here right after the Stone Throw Winery. Rob greeted us when we walked through the door and we decided to sit at the bar. Two of us ended up choosing the bacon bloody mary — this dream concoction includes a warm piece of bacon, pickle, olive, beef stick — we decided this was our appetizer. As we looked through the menu, we asked about the fried corn cob — everyone said you have to try it. It is covered with Cajun spice and parmesan cheese — it is pretty damn good. We moved on to turkey burgers, gyros and fish tacos — all fresh, good flavor and great fries or cole slaw on the side.

Gotta love the Pen Pub. Great menu offerings and interesting burgers. I think all the entrees on the menu are $ 7.50 =). Full selection of beer wine and booze. They have some seating outside. Service was great. I have no complaints. Great bar/restaurant located on the corner of A&E. If you’re in the Bailey’s Harbor area you should check out the Pen Pub. Cheers!

What a great find! I am always on the look out for a new place and i can’t believe this one slipped past me for so long! It is a small bar, but has lots of personality. The bartender was alone and very busy, but still very friendly. We ordered a few appetizers, but the burgers and wings look great. We tried the Pub Egg(hardboiled, covered in sausage, fried, and seved with mustard– yum). I checked their Facebook page( ) and they have a creative burger special each day. We will be back for sure! They also have karaōke on saturday nights!
