Great for the younger crowd with the train delivering your food around the bar. Prepare to wait especially in the season and on the weekends. Place is sprawling with large bar in a separate barn — and there are fun things to do while you wait. Waitstaff is very good, food just so-​so. The fish were originally frozen and not that good — I was expected a «fat» fillet like at a fish fry — but these were more like high-​end fish sticks for $ 12. Burgers and fries were good. I’d stick with the basics.

We love coming here with the kids! The outdoor play area is really nice, since there can be a long wait. Watching the kids get so excited about the train delivering our food was fun. The chicken sandwich, white cod fish sandwich, kids fried Mac & Cheese balls, & kids grilled cheese were all very good, especially for being a fast food type of place. The fries were very good too. A definite must stop type of place, if you have kids!

Came here after a long weekend in a cabin in Door County. After cooking on an open fire all weekend all we wanted was some real restaurant food. Heard the place was a staple so we decided on it.
There wasn’t a huge menu to chose from and the food ended up to be average anyway. Not really satisfying, fries had no flavor, and portions were smaller than I expected (not small per say but small for a place like this.)
The place looks and feels like it was decorated by a child. I get that that’s the theme but it’s horrifyingly cringeworthy if you’re not into themed restaurants.
All in all, don’t come here unless you have small children. They’ll love it.

A must if you have a young family. Lots of outside activities while you wait. Nothing like having a train deliver your food.

Great place for kids! Excellent bar burgers. Sit at the bar with your kids and watch them marvel at the model train delivering food.

This place makes everyone feel like a kid again! So fun and the food is good. The staff is very friendly. Definitely a must for people with kids.

If you are visiting the Door with kids this is a must stop. You can get your whole meal delivered via a model train. Then after dinner you can ride around on pedal cars, play giant chess, shoot baskets, see the big pig (Rosie) or just hang out. This is a very fun and casual place.
TIP: it’s a little confusing at first what is were when you get here. Front building has the bar (kids allowed) that delivers your food. Back building is the pizza restaurant that has karaōke some nights.
