Great doctor. He’s been doing his job for a long time and has worked with many different types of people. He really takes time to learn his patients and uses the full hour without wasting anytime. He cares about his job and instead of giving any bulls$&@ answers like a lot of mental health doctors do, he asks patients about their past and current life then connects the pieces to the puzzle. I really liked him but he lives kinda far from me and I’m not sure he accepts my primary insurance, tricare. He does however accepts primara blue cross. If I was still on my dads insurance, I would still be seeing him. Dr. Raney is his own company so he is a bit more pricey because he likes to see his patients weekly instead of monthly or whenever pills run out like other doctors do. Depends on what insurance you have I guess. He is appointment only and he is ver very very good about times so as long as you show up on time, there is no waiting around. Another little tip I would like to add is he is NOT a counselor but he is very fun to talk to and he gives wonderful advice that you really think about. Depending on whatever you see him for, he has the best advice for whatever problem. He is a sweet old gentleman and really, I’ve seen him for 3 months and he has made my life so much more optimistic by his words.(= He used to be in the military and sees many veterans. Military folk, such as I, I implore you to see Dr. Raney.
