I put my credit card in the gas pump and it did not work but found I was charged a $ 1.00, for what? Just a FYI

Man, what a scam. Gas is $.70-$.80 cents higher than surrounding cities. Premium almost hit $ 5 here. That’s pretty high. They’re taking advantage of the fact there is a lack of towns nearby, but even the ones that are about 60 miles of Baker don’t have prices like that. Coffee was not outrageously priced so I’ll give them that. I don’t recall getting into a rage about overpriced coffee. I made sure to avoid Baker at all costs on my return trip. Plan accordingly and stop at other towns if you need gas.

I’ve stopped here twice and nothing has changed. There are NOPRICES on any of the items in the market. Banana? Water? Juice? Pretzels? Sandwich? Band-aids? Windshield fluid? NOPRICES. NONE. NOPRICES = A PLANTORIPMEOFF. Forget it. I took my business elsewhere. They aren’t the only market in Baker.

Do NOT stop here!!! I go to vegas a few times a year and have stopped at the other places in baker. This was the first time(and the last time) that I will stop at this travel center. They did not have any prices on anything! My husband and I cold not believe that could be legal. He asked the cashier why and she said that the owner wants it that way. After paying for my items I realized why. I paid almost double of what I would have at a regular gas stop. What a slimy way I doing business! I will NEVER stop there again… what a rip off.

We stopped here to stretch our legs and get something to eat on the way back from Vegas. This gas station has an accompanying store which is more like a food court with multiple options that provides a wide range of choices when you are travelling as group in which each one wants something different. The toilets could be cleaner but were not that bad and as we did not refuel here can’t comment on the price of gas but the price of items in the store and the outlets in the food court were reasonable and comparable to any other place so this stop worked well for us.

the bathrooms are just ok. overall, this place is not awesome. there are better choices in Baker to gas up(i.e. Chevron)

So much has changed in such little time! The restrooms have become a complete DUMP. In this economy, I’d expect there are many hard working folks out there who need a job at reasonable pay who’d keep this place clean. It doesn’t take a college degree to clean a bathroom; what’s the problem?!
