I’ve used them a couple of times but this time I bought a groupon for three hours /two cleaners and when I went to schedule they called me back and told me they no longer work Saturdays and they only work until 2 p.m. during the week. Ugh. Got my money back and found a more accommodating housekeeper.

My husband bought me a groupon for a house cleaning and it ended up being 2 hours of cleaning with 3 cleaners. They were very kind upon arrival. I was given a list of items I wanted done and could label them in order of importance. When I got home the cleaners were already gone however the house smelled wonderful and looked great. Given the size of my house, 2800 sq feet, and the short amount of time they had to deep clean it all, I think they did a very nice job. I would have like my shower grout to be a little more clean but that could have taken up a lot of time I am not sure. Overall they were good and I would have them back.

Bought the Groupon 2 cleaners for 6 hours $ 180. Told them when they arrived at 11.15 all carpets tile and marble floors had been professionally cleaned the only had 3 bathrooms and kitchen countertops to do and wash the hardwood floors. The house was going on the market, After two hours I went upstairs to check on the they were chatting in my master bedroom and cleaning the window sills. I told them it was’nt necessary to do that and just the bathrooms etc. Went back an hour later they were in my upstairs hall cleaning a cabinet told them again that’s not what I wanted. Came downstairs to find someone dusting the artwork on the wall. Told them I wasn’t happy with that. I went to lunch at 2 came back at 3 they were gone. They were supposed to stay till 5.15, Kitchen still dirty countertops or stove not cleaned. Master bathroom not done. The mopped so much water on my hardwood floors I had to open all the doors to get them dry and not to cup or buckle(i’m a flooring contractor) Tried calling them to see if they just went to lunch and when they were coming back. No reply… ever. I ended up getting another cleaner the next day for 2 days at $ 55 for four hours for two days and she did a wonderful job. If someone had called me back or inspected their work this could have been easily been resolved, ignoring the customer never works out in anyones favor.

We were going on Vacation so I bought a coupon for 2 workers for 3 hours of deep cleaning. I thought it would be great to get the house cleaned the day before vacation so we could come home to a super clean house. One of the workers did an okay job. She cleaned the two bathrooms upstairs and came down to start on the kitchen. While the other worker only cleaned my window seals. 5 windows! It was the end of summer so there were flies in there. The part that annoyed me is that she worked so slow. And she didn’t bother cleaning to flies she just used her rag to throw the flies to the floor and she didn’t vacuum them she just left them on the carpet. Needless to say I will never have them back to «clean.» The 3 hours of deep cleaning only got 2 of my 3 bathrooms cleaned. My stove and a half job on my windows. And my house was clean to begin because I wanted them to focus on the«deep cleaning» they advertised such as base boards and windows.

Absolutely Maid2Clean advertised a «Deep Cleaning» special recently, and since my life has been crazier than usual, and I could really use the help, I went for it. They were accomodating when I called to schedule my three hour service and I was excited to think that when I got home that evening, my house would be spotless! The special included not only the standard cleaning, but items usually not included such as cleaning the entire door frame(tops, too), cleaning the light switches, dusting the baseboards, etc. Unfortunately, I didn’t get my money’s worth. We have a smallish home, and I absolved them of responsibility for one whole room, so the total square footage was probably about 1,250. Should be no problem for two experienced professionals given three hours, to accomplish everything on their list. When my husband came home after just 2 hours and 25 minutes, they were already ‘done’ and waiting for their ride. It’s a shame that the person picking them up(I think it was the owner) didn’t check their work, as it didn’t even reach the level of basic cleaning. The front bathroom was hardly touched, and the master bathroom wasn’t much better. I am pretty sure none of the sinks or toilet bowls saw any cleanser, and I know the faucets weren’t touched, nor was the shower. Only two of the four ceiling fans were dusted, the door frames hadn’t been touched, the appliances did not get the promised wipe down, the list went onl. In short, they did a very poor job. When I called to inquire about the intended scope of the work, the owner apologized and was quick to schedule another date to finish the work. Unfortunately, we’d already had an event in our home, so much of the work I’d paid for, my husband and I did to get ready for our guests. The same two women did return four days later, but they were sullen and completely unapologetic. They did not bring supplies/tools that were necessary to finish the job, so I provided them. Sadly, the very minimum effort was put into the items I asked them to finish(from the list I was given when I bought the certificate). Even after they were done, I wouldn’t say my house was ‘clean’, merely wiped down… and not with cleaning solution. Much of it was just a dry wipe. I was very disappointed in the level of service, after two opportunities. I was surprised that I never received a follow-up call from the owner to see if the work had been completed to my satisfaction, especially considering she acknowledged that she wondered how they finished so quickly the first time. I don’t feel like I got my money’s worth for even a basic cleaning, let alone the ‘deep cleaning’ I paid for. Before I purchased the special, I checked for reviews(positive or negative) and hadn’t found any, so I thought I would help the next consumer by reporting my personal experience. Perhaps this was an isolated incident and their usual work is much better, but I won’t be calling them again.
