This place is awesome! They have a huge selection of liquor and snacks. The people that work here are super friendly. Guy told my wife happy Mother’s Day. Gave my daughter a sucker. I don’t live on this side of town, but when I’m over here I stop by. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a snack of your favorite liquor.

Best service I have ever had always a laugh in here… From my first time I can into this place and every time I am here it is always an easy find and the service is unbeatable, there selection is vast, the only down side is deciding what I want because they carry so many options…

I’ve come here several times and have always been greeted by friendly employees. They have a large selection of beer, ciders and hard liquor; way more than most places in town. They are near my house and their prices are reasonable. I’ve never had any problems and will continue to come here.

Dude at the register is weird, just be prepared!!! .you can’t tell if he’s just rude or a smartass. since bevmo has opened they have raised their prices! Something that used to cost$ 12.99 is now $ 19.99, that’s ridiculous!

My friend and i came here on good word that he gives cute girls discounts. 2 twelve packs and an average bottle of Jameson= $ 83 WTF!!! Thats no friggin discount! Thats a straight up OVERCHARGE. the dude handed my friend and I vodka samples and encouraged us to drink it there… um no. (Im certain he charged us for those as well.)
While we were loading our stuff into the trunk of our car, he called us back to the store. I thought we had forgotten something, but I was wrong! He proceded to try to make out with my friend. What a total creep. NO ONE should go here. This guy is all kinds of shady!

Why did it take so long for me to find this place? If you’re looking for something that is not common around these parts you must come here. Stop driving from store to store and wasting your time when this place has it all. I came in here looking for a particular bourbon that I can only find online. It’s not that rare it’s just always sold out or on back order. Not only did they have it in stock they had two different sizes to choose from. Their craft beer selection is also the largest I’ve seen in Bakersfield. It’s on par if not exceeding that of Imbibe’s. The prices here aren’t the cheapest but if you’re looking for a particular item that’s hard to get then who cares really?

This is my first 1 star review, but it has to be done. My experience at this place had always been that of friendly and convenient. They have a decent selection of liquor & beer. But this last trip, will be my last.
I was on the hunt for cotton candy vodka and had heard this place was one of a few that carried it. I stopped in and began to look around. All the while, the young clerk chatted on his cell phone. It wasn’t until I asked for help that he offered his assistance. He was friendly enough, but instead of just telling me they didn’t carry the vodka any longer, he proceeded to tell me why it was bad and how his other products were superior. I’m all for upselling, but I just got a weird vibe. I should have listened to my instinct.
I decided to purchase 2 flavored vodka’s that he suggested. He also kept handing me vodka samples which I thought was both cool and kind of creepy. As I started to pull my AmEx out of my wallet he stopped me and asked if I could use another card, pointing to my brand new never before used Chase visa. He started in on how AmEx is a pain for small businesses, blah blah blah… I quickly handed him my Chase card just to shut him up and hurry out of there.
A few days later I received a call from a camera company in New York City asking for authorization on a purchase. A purchase I never made! And guess what card it was on… yep, the Chase card. I had used it once only at the liquor store and a few days later I have a sketch purchase for a $ 500 camera from a guy named Muhammad?
I reported this finding to the BPD as recommended by my card company and they said they have a special task force looking into local identity theft.
The whole scenario makes me sick. I would HIGHLY advise against using anything other than cash at this place… IF you even go here.

As others have said they have a decent craft beer selection. But that’s where the positive ends. The prices are ridiculously expensive. Especially for any type of special release. I also had one of the owners short me on change. After I called him on it and was waking out he started talking about me in another language. Clean up your act y’all.

Has a better selection of craft beer than Imbibe and it’s open later. Love this place!

Huge selection of craft & micro brews. If they don’t have it, he will get it. Tons of hard to find liquor as well. They also have some select cigars as well.
