Not only was the pizza super greasy but the the online prices are a joke, they are not affiliated with the online prices and it is a significant increase to there «posted» prices.
8pc chicken without tax or delivery 17.99… Ridiculous.
Long wait and they screwed up my order and when I called to complain, they blamed me… not great customer service!
Don’t order from them!!! Get Rustys!!!

If the service was there, this place could be a 4 star… but it is seemingly run by kids so when you order by phone and arrive to pick up your food, you may lack confidence in what you are getting.
However, the calzone was good (Pepperoni, onion and mushroom) A $ 2 coupon is available on line so you must print that off and bring it in for the discount. A large calzone is more than enough for 2 hungry people (with leftovers) with a side salad to split. The salad is $ 1 more than what the website reads but whatever. As other reviewers have stated, the restaurant seems to take quality control very seriously and the calzones are not loaded or very cheesy but are pretty decent. The crust is amazing however and it reeks of delectable garlic. The salad was very fresh and crisp and this was a nice surprise.
The inside of the restaurant was small but cute. I did find the prices to be a bit high in comparison to other pizza places but will try them out again as this location is very close to home and has good promise.
Update: ordered a calzone weeks later and for picking it up we got $ 3 off this time without using any coupon? Policy change or I was hooped last time that we picked up with no mention of this little deal. Anyhoo, got the Brooklyn Calzone which is loaded with meat. Good meat at that. Will be getting that again, I recommend it!
Update — scratch the Brooklyn — I have now discovered the MANHATTAN! Meat and veg! A great balance and so very good. I crave it all the time now — not a good thing!!! :)

I had been craving pizza for days and wanted something different from Shafter Little Ceasars.
I did a call ahead order but decided to add when I walked in through the door. My pizza was ready but didn’t wait for more than 10 minutes for my extra order. Service was excellent and pizza is incredible.

My favorite pizza place! The service is excellent and the food is delicious about 5 tvs family friendly antipasta salad is my fave.

The pizza and potato logs are very good but it does take a while so make sure you’re not in a hurry. I’ve only gotten to go orders but the counter service seems very nice. The pizza at the oildale location is a bit better but this one is way more convenient.

Cataldos doesn’t disappoint. Every time I’ve had there pizza it’s been a great experience. There gain slice combo can feed 2 – 3 people and its topped w all the toppings of your choosing. Do yourself a favor and order ahead it’ll make your experience even more pleasant. It’s just good food.

Too bad they cut the portions.

Saw the owner again randomly and she had the nerve to cuss me out. What a horrible business, no manners or etiquette.

Pizza was ok a little runny on the sauce. Pizza crust very soggy. No one here except us and people that work here talking amongst themselves. I heard every conversation. I was done w my beverage and no one asked me if I wanted another.

The best pizza place in Bakersfield so far for me, the only problem is it’s not by my house but well worth the occasional drive. They pack the salads and aren’t greedy with their ranch! I don’t mind paying a little more for better ingredients too but to save I go for lunch sometimes. Keep it up guys, I got my eyes on you!

Great pizza, but it looks the like the employees are always having a party while they’re working. This place used to be good but it has slowly gone down.

Tried this place for the first time. The service was great and they have a variety of different food items and pizzas. The pizza was a little too greasy for my liking and I think it was because they use too much cheese. If you like a lot of cheese then you may like this place. I think I’ll go back for their giant pizza if I’m having a get together, but that’s about it.

To me their best location in town. The crust is delicious (my must for good pizza) and good toppings. Usually come for lunch when in the neighborhood, get the slice and drink, sometimes salad. Always leave satisfied. A bit pricy, but I’m ok with that.

Great pizza, we called in our order of a 30 inch pizza for the Houston Rockets game and were coming from the Museum of Fine Art on our way home and called in the order and was ready in only 20 minutes! The pizza itself was so good, lots of cheese and pepperoni. We picked it up and were very halt with our enormous pizza! Leftovers for days! Service was quick and efficient.

Just called and ordered a large 3 topping, wings and a soda. The girl told me my total was $ 40!!! I asked if she was sure and she said yes. Cancels my order. What are these people thinking?! It’s PIZZA for godssake. Called Me and eds and ordered the same exact thing for $ 28. It’s crazy how expensive this place is. I’ll never bother with it again. Weve ordered the giant pizzas for parties before and obviously my husband paid and didn’t notice the price. The pizza is good but for that price it ought to be made out of gold.

The pizza is good and the service is good. Probably not the quickest meal but you shouldn’t really expect «quick» from a pizza place.
The lunch special is a pretty good deal. It’s a giant slice of pizza and a drink for like $ 5 or something like that.
My fav is the bacon pizza. The peperoni pizza is good but a little skimpy on peperoni. The Italian sausage is good too.
Salads are very good.

Pizza was amazing! Only draw back for the 4 stars is that it is pretty greasy the crust was garic seasoned, the sauce was great! We usually go for slice of Italy, but this was a good change!

Ive been here a few times with my family and things have always been ok. Tonight was different though, the owner was present and she decided to let the manager leave early and take control. She cut the side order portions in half and refused to give my kids water cups. The girl who delivered our chicken and wedges instantly apologized upon delivery stating the owner decided to cut portions in half and that they had new rules. I told her kindly to take back my order for a refund and I would simply keep the pizza and be fine with things. The girl then came back and said the owner wouldn’t accept a refund and that they would provide me with the actual order that I paid for. I accepted that with a smile and a thank you. Overall I was just taken back by the owners audacity to instantly change things. I realize now why I see fewer and fewer folks frequenting the establishment. The management is absolutely poor. I will add that the the owner eventually came by my table in a pair of sweat pants and a hoodie and tried to sweet talk me. She completely contradicted the explanation from what the poor employee had told me earlier, basically throwing her under the bus, probably because she was embarrassed of her actions as an owner. I won’t be coming back. I look forward to a reputable establishment taking over the space. This is a very expensive part of town and folks here don’t put up with things like this, we like honesty and professionalism.

I have tried Cataldos several times over the last couple of years and about every other experience is a bad one. But my wife and kids love the Queens pizza, so we alway end up going back about every 6 months. Needless to say last night was one of those times. We ordered 2 pizzas for delivery ($ 57 bucks) one large queen and one medium combination. An hour later the pizza arrives, the Queens pizza great the combination was the worst pizza that I have ever seen or tasted. It had so much grease that the crust and the bottom of the pizza was literally wet. It tasted like wet bread. I called to complain and asked for my money back and they wanted me to bring the pizza to them and they would make me a new one! Or give me a credit for my next purchase. I told the manager that there won’t be a next purchase and she said she could mail me a check! So my options were to bring the pizza that I had delivered to them or they would mail me a check!!! Are you F!@king kidding me!!! I will never waste another 50 bucks in them again I suggest you don’t either.
Side note: I managed a pizza place for 5 years and we would never send out a pizza that looked like that no matter how busy we were. We also would never use the excuse on the phone to a customer, «well sir you know it’s really busy right now.»
Poor pizza and poor customer service!!!

Heard about this place so we decided to order for delivery for the first time. We ordered the 30″ meat lovers for a dozen people. The pizza was excellent! The sauce, cheese and ingredients were fresh and very tasty. The delivery was a few minutes earlier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise! They even brought me plates, cheese and peppers. I will definitely be ordering from there again. I look forward to stepping into their establishment as well. Can’t wait to have it again!
