My three children and I would visit this location about once a month for a special treat. The staff was always courteous and helpful. Our meals were always perfect and delicious. They had an amazing Chopped Italian Salad that was delicious, mouth watering gelato and their pizza, wow! Such a thin crust that wasn’t too hard or crunchy but rather had the perfect amount of crisp. Our last trip here was on 9/19, and had we known this location would be closing its doors just two days later I would have told the staff how much I appreciated them. We were deeply sadden today when we arrived for our monthly visit only to discover they had closed their doors. An example of a business that truly helped the community by giving back to non-profits in need(and especially the animals), they will be greatly missed.

Loved the place. It’s a shame they had to close their doors this week. An eviction notice was posted by the Sheriff’s Department Guess they didn’t pay the rent.

This food experience was the best«new» adventure in years. After church Sunday, we needed a close sit down place to eat and other places in this area were all too crowded. Went in, sat down in a cool booth and the foodie event began. We had completed our order with a new server, when the experienced server came over and explained she had altered our order. She said that she was pretty sure we didn’t mean to order that much food… wow, the quantity was going to be humongous! She gave great suggestions and we were on a roll. Wondrous gorgonzola chopped salad with pine nuts– enough for 4! Superb cheese garlic bread. Totally full before the calzones! We took them home. I could order the garlic sauce by the buckets. will praise the taste and quality from now on!

The best pizza ever! The salads are freshly made, the service is great! Good place to bring children to watch cartoons while parents can enjoy conversation without interruptions!

Their salads, fhazonis and pizzas(very thin crust) are great! Lunch menu prices are cheaper.

I think their pizza is pretty good but not amazing. Their gelato on the other hand is fantastic. Good place to have lunch and a little dessert.

3 stars — will not be rushing back but would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone that likes super thin pizza crust. You line up and order — pizzas staff said are made fresh to order. I loved the large pizza oven behind the counter. The salads — apparently the Caesar and the Greek are most popular. I do not think these are made to order but our Greek was fresh enough. There was not too much dressing fortunately but what dressing there was, makes the salad go soggy in a real hurry. I would get dressing on the side if possible if taking a salad to go. They do serve beer and wine. I had a glass of merlot as a recommendation — it was a bit sweet for me and would never get it again but it was drinkable. I did like the staff and the atmosphere. If the pizza was better, this could have been a 4 star experience. The crust was like a cracker, thin to the MAX and the toppings were sparse. I am not sure if the crusts are frozen but they sure could have been. Sad if they are. The eatery could use a touch of maintenance — IE bulbs burnt out above the booths and rags on the floor sopping up a leak of condensation from the soda fountain machine but overall not a bad experience. Loved the TVs at each booth so we could adjust to out own channel and enjoy a bit of the hockey game.

My friend and myself tried this place on a Saturday, the place was busy when we arrived, so we didn’t mind the wait, after sitting at our table we noticed people that had order after us, started getting their food… finally an employee came too our table asking what we had order, we were told that we had been given the wrong number, our food arrived, it was a small, we let them know that we had order a large, were told the gluten pizza only came in small… so to sum it up… service was terrible, we were over charged, with no offers if a refund or Mayb a dessert, and our pizza was cold and TERRIBLE!

Small, but awesome, selection of wine. Love the pizza. The tv’s are a nice distraction for the kids. Nice friendly service. Yummy salads.

Pizza was good(overcooked and slightly burnt, but good), but service was a JOKE, no wonder we were one of the only groups in there. My husband and I stood in line, we were the only ones in line, for literally five minutes before anyone even acknowledged us! No eye contact, not a «be with you in a minute», nothing. We had never had the gelato before, so we stood in line again at the end of our meal. Again, waiting way too long to be acknowledged. So, we order the gelato, pay, and then I have to ask, can we get some spoons? The guy says, «Oh, you wanted spoons? Here ya go.» And hands us tasting spoons!?! WTF??? No you moron, we thought we would lap it up with our tongues doggie style. If we go back I will be certain to ask for the pizza to be cooked a little less, and bring my own spoon!

Red Brick, what happened??? We used to love coming here(and we came here often). Last few times have been dis-heartening! Service was extremely slow! Two couple just walked out after waiting in line. Seems as though the servers would rather be somewhere else as well. We love to support our local people, but when service is constantly bad…,…hoping our meal is better than service is.

Their pizza is so good. I like their flat flavorful pizza crust. Every time I am here it’s very empty in fact I’m the only one here as I write up this review; good for me as i can sit, relax, and enjoy my late lunch. Anyway their side Caesar salad is a very good size and tastes good. The margherita pizza is my favorite!

Pizza crust is wafer thin and crispy, there is no chewy texture at all. The large is $ 20 for only 14″, overpriced for the low quality ingredients used. Go to pizza my heart and enjoy a real gourmet pizza. The wifi existed but they didn’t knot the password! The tv’s at the table are ok but families with kids will probably just argue about it. Overall skip it and eat elsewhere :/

Pizza is excellent, the salad are really good and the service was nice and polite. Kids see tv while waiting for their pizza and they love the gelatto! I took down one star because as a gourmet pizza they should have more topping available, I missed the anchovies. I think that the price is right, this is not a pizza from the box and cooked on a wood oven flavor is really tasty. They also have gluten free pizza.

My go-to place for pizza in Bako. I know pizza, like«boxers vs. briefs», is about as personal of a foodie choice as it gets. For me, I love the perfectly proportioned crust. Not cardboard thin like some«thin crusts», but not overly doughy either. Always tastes fresh, and always a good treat. My favorite is the margherita pizza with extra basil. MOLTOBENE!!!

Decent thin crust pizza with a few twist on the traditional flavors. A little pricey for what you get. Last time I visited they only had thin-crust, not sure it that’s changed. all of the booth-style tables have small TVs mounted on the wall next to them. You are encouraged to turn it to the game or a show for your kids. They serve beer and wine and have a selection of gelato for dessert. Overall; not bad, but doesn’t really stand out in my mind.

We love this place. They have great selections on the pizzas. It’s not your typical pizza. If you want to try new flavors this place is a good place to start. Although we love this place, Red Stone Pizza on Hageman is better.

This was not my first visit to a RedBrick Pizza(see my review of the RedBrick Pizza in Paso Robles), but it was my first visit to the Bakersfield location. This is set up like most other pizza locations. You order and pay for your pie at a counter and then they bring your pizza to your table. There is an assortment of gelatos prominently displayed in a glass refrigerated cabinet next to where you place your order specifically placed there to entice you. Someone with good marketing skills and a knowledge of what sets off impulse buying designed this set-up. On this visit I was too full to sample the gelato but it was amazing when I had it at the Paso Robles restaurant. I ordered the small Greek Pizza which was covered with ham, feta, pepperoncini, and Greek olives. I didn’t notice a sauce per se — definitely not a tomato sauce. I think it was just olive oil and garlic with mozzarella cheese. I ordered my own pizza with the intention of taking half of it home for lunch the next day, but apparently I don’t have that kind of self control :) If you need me to spell it out for you — the pizza was very good! The crust was browned to perfection, crispy and not overly doughy. Apparently this comes from their proprietary red brick ovens operating at very high temperatures. I just know that crust was definitely the star of the show! The toppings were generously applied and worked together well, too! I also like that you can fill and refill your drinks(sodas) as many times as you like! Someone in the party ordered the large Greek Salad and felt it was more than ample to satisfy his appetite! The restaurant had many tables and five booths with their own television sets. I was sitting with a rather large group, so we were not at one of those booths. At the location in Paso Robles we were able to control the channels but had to ask the workers to adjust the volume for us so I assume this one was the same. There was also a large flat screen on the wall with a ball game playing — very nice for the game fans in the group, but not intrusive for those of us that just wanted to eat and visit! I’ll definitely be back. I’m pretty curious about their fire roasted Fhazani sandwiches and the Bhrazani — fire roasted brownie with gelato on top. I’ll be back to sample both if I can pull myself away from the pizza!

First off let’s me say the service here is very good. When you arrive you walk up to the counter and you order. They give you a number and then you find an open table. That being said you would think customer service would not be a priority but it was. We were checked on a couple times and they even cleared our table as we ate and they were very friendly, even offering ‘to go’ boxes. However the prices are high for the amount of food you get. Their large pizza is about the size of a medium at most other places and costs around $ 18. We had a small caeser salad and a large italian sausage and pepper pizza. The caeser salad was pretty good but the pizza was just okay. The pizza was well cooked and the crust was nice and crispy but for some reason the toppings just had no flavor. Especially with a sausage pizza you would think that it would be bursting with flavor. That being said I still ate half of the pie. I will be coming back because of the great customer service and the fact that my girlfriend only likes pizza from this place. Maybe it will be better next time.
