Steve’s Pizza

We ordered 3 large pizzas, wedges, wings, and cheese bread. We were told it would be 45 minutes, an hour and a half later they showed up missing the cheese bread and the manager would not take the bread off the bill. One of our pizzas was made wrong, then there was a hair in one of the pizzas, which happens, but then there was another hair found in a hot wing. We called and they agreed to give us our money back. All in all they made it right, but it was an awful experience. In the end they attempted to make it right, but hey definitely need to get it together and be mindful of what is going on.

Eh. We tried this place tonight because one off the reviews said it was pizzaville and our friends said it was good. NOTHING like pizzaville, I don’t know how anyone would think that. The crust was average the toppings however were good, seemed to be good quality. The wings were AWFUL, soggy and bready and just gross, we didn’t even eat them. Too many good pizza places in town to ever order from here again.

Honestly, if u remember how Pizzaville used to be. this is it!
Thin crust, quality ingredients and good ranch dressing. I love the garlic cheese bread and craft beer on tap.
Look past the rough edges and embrace thus pizza!

Great pizza, great drivers, horrible phone skills. Don’t let their lack of phone etiquette fool you, the delivery guy is awesome! Our side of garlic ranch was not in the bag when our pizza was dropped off. Without us asking the driver went back to the store, picked up the sauce and brought it all the way back to our house. Thanks delivery guy in the purple shirt, we appreciate you!

Normally, the pizza is fantastic. This time, not so much so. The meat tasted like it sat in the refrigerator too long and the vegetables were bland.
The toppings also seemed to be concentrated in the middle. It was still good as far as Pizza goes.
I’ll order again…

Well I just have to update my review after this incident. First I ordered my pizza over the phone on the way to the store with my grandson and asked for half cheese half combo. Paid for it with my credit card and said we would tip in cash. I called my husband and said to tip the driver if they came before we got back.
Upon our return the pizza had arrived to my surprise, but only to be the wrong pizza and the driver tried to get my husband to pay for it so the driver had to go to his car and call to see that it was paid for. Then he didn’t have change for a $ 10 bill (right) so my husband tipped him a $ 10 on a $ 20 pizza that was WRONG!!! So I call to inform them it was wrong and to complain about trying to make him pay for the pizza. I am not usually a person to complain because I will usually eat anything that resembles a pizza but my grandkids like cheese. And we didn’t get it. So the gal on the phone asked if I lived on «Such and Such Street» and I said yes so I’m guessing they knew there was a mess up. «Oh ya your pizza went to someone else and you got someone else’s pizza» REALLY??? But I can make you what you ordered and swap them out? REALLY again??? Swap them out my husband and other grandson had already started eating not knowing it was wrong!!! So she offered me 20% off my next order. OK
So then the kids pick off the toppings we are ok until my husband gags and pulls a bright red hair out of his mouth. OK ~ So I call back and ask «Is there a girl that works there with bright red hair?» Yes! Well we just found one of her hairs in our pizza! Hold on I’ll let you talk to our manager. Well Lo and behold it was her hair!!! She apologized said she sheds horribly. Then wear a hairnet, but no offer to credit my card. No free pizza. Nada nothing and I said I was the one whom you just messed up the order!
I don’t expect free food for bad service but I do when there is inedible food!!!

Very good pizza, great specials, and fast delivery. I had this pizza at my friends and was impressed. I have been ordering it ever since. Caution when serving children or those who don’t like anything spicy. The pepperoni and sausage are a bit spicy.
Good quality pizza, consistent and the prices are very reasonable.

You have to get the garlic ranch sauce on the side it is the most amazing sauce to dip! The pizza is fantastic and yet to have something there I don’t like.

I was very disappointed! With football practices all week for my boys and meeting new faces and friends that told me good things about Steve’s Pizza. So today we decided to order for pickup after practice. First call the girl said hold please and we got disconnected. Second call The very first thing the girl on the phone said when she answered was «WE CLOSE IN 15 Minutes!» Not hello or can I help you. Once I ordered she put me in hold again for a long period, so I finally hung up and said forget it. Very bad first impression. Sorry but I’ll pass on this kind of service. And I will share with the parents that recommend.

Won’t deliver to my hotel and the person on the phone wouldn’t or couldn’t give a reason. I spend a ton of time in Bakersfield for work and am tired of all my current food options.
Was looking forward to checking this place out because I’d heard good things.

I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and only paid $ 13.95. It isn’t a chain pizza place and that’s what I liked about it. The pepperoni was spicier than most places so it had a lot of flavor. Cheap, flavorful, and filling. This is only my first visit there but it won’t be my last.

Good spicy pizza. Fast delivery. Never ate inside so no comment on that
