Austin came out for a home warranty call. He was quick, efficient and friendly. Short but sweet.

I’m just going to say that this company needs to find employees that have better customer service skills. I was treated poorly by Nicole and asked my home warranty company to switch companies and they did. I am very satisfied with the other company who took care of us. I was glad we didn’t have to go through Austin Heating and Air. I read the other reviews and I wouldn’t be surprised if the other customers were treated the way they said they were. If I were the owner of this company, I would think twice about who works for them! They’re losing business!

LOOKELSEWHEREIFYOUDON’T WANTTOFEELDEGRADED. This company is terrible. I felt degraded. They made a mistake with writing down the correct part number that was needed. I learned about the mistake when I called them to follow up on when they would be able to compete the repair. They informed that they’d have to send someone again to get the correct part. I can accept someone making a mistake. However, when I asked them to send someone immediately(or before the end of the business day in order to place an order for a part that would need to be shipped from an out of state vendor) to get the information needed, they said they would place me at the end of the to do list. After waiting several days to get a repairperson to diagnose our problem, they informed me that they’d have to restart the process. The owner scolded me and said she wouldn’t do anything because my only recourse was to find another company, which would restart and prolong the process. The owners made me feel like I was less important because I was not born in the United States. A few days later a superior air condition repair company came and did the work. The company treated me with respect. There is a remarkable difference between Austin Heating and Air and the other company.

Racist. Terrible service. Disrespectful. Useless. These people are the definition of rude and unhelpful. I was referred by my home warranty company and they sent some person who couldn’t even write numbers down correctly to order the part we needed. When we gave them multiple options to fix their mistake without making us live without air conditioning in 100+ weather, they wouldn’t work with us. Instead. they tried to say my mother was rude and had cultural differences, and proceeded to hang up the phone in our face. Let me explain, ignorant and racist fools at Austin, an accent doesn’t qualify as a cultural difference. Learn how to be people that deserve business.

I was referred to Austin Heating & Air by my home warranty company. They came to diagnose an issue with my A/C system. My home warranty company denied my claim to fix the issue as it may have been preexisting, They found the problem quickly and I checked with them later, after my claim was denied, to see what they would charge to fix it. Their price was significantly lower than another estimate I received. Needless to say they got the work. They came out with a two man crew on a Saturday and had the new and more efficient A/C unit and condenser coil installed and running properly in about three hours. Everything is still working great and I’m happy I chose them to do the work. The owner/manager answered every question I had and explained to me most of their work is through home warranty companies. Because he saw my claim was denied he gave me a similar price in which he would charge the home warranty company which made it much less than his competitor. It’s also a better business practice to do the work for less and still make money than flat out deny the business altogether.

This is the WORST business I have ever had to deal with. «Manager«was rude, I didn’t have my AC working during the HOT summer months but still kept getting the run around from the so called«manager!». Even went to their«office» to discover that the techs use it !!! When I would call — geez– sometimes I would get a «person» and often I got some«answering» service. TERRIBLEEXPERIENCE!!!
