I come here every time I am in town to get my fix of bagels and a blender. Everything is made fresh but I always end up getting the same thing, spinach bagel with lox cream cheese and a Hawaiian Holiday. Don’t know about the cookies but I will get some tomorrow. The only gripe I have is that the smoothies need to be a little more blended, I always have chunks at the bottom –_– … but other than that I love this place.

The pastrami jalapeño sandwich is to die for. It is so juicy and melts in your mouth. The jalapeños are not to spicy(I love spicy but some it can get overwhelming at times). On the weekends, it is pretty packed and you might not get a seat. The sandwich does take awhile to be made so you’ll wonder where your pastrami jalapeño is. However, it is so worth the wait. Overall the service can be better but I do understand how packed it gets and how they’re trying to make the best of it. I also wish they’ve had more outside seating but overall bagels & blenderz is worth the stop each time.

Yesterday I gave this place a shot after all the rave I’ve heard. Apparently they are the same owners as the fosters doughnuts off Gosford and white ln. I got the Asian chicken sesame salad and it was perfect. Exactly what I was craving! I had it for lunch and I was still full for dinner. Most definitely going back. Customer service was also great. The gentlemen in the front had no problem answering our questions and also made suggestions for our next visit on what to try.

Really used to like this place until I picked up some pumpkin bread slices at 9am this morning that had mold on it! I was very surprised because they claim its baked fresh daily… obviously not. Pretty disappointed in an establishment I once loved going to.

Good bagels, awful service. Maybe it’s just weekends but the wait is long, had to ask for eta on our order more than once. They didn’t mark the coffee and had to open the kids and call the manager over to look and visually tell us which latte was what. Very disorganized.

A fave spot of ours to get in and out for our bagels. We will buy 6 on the weekend that will last us awhile or if we remember to go on a weekday 2 hours before close,(4pm) we get half off of a dozen bagels. They freeze wonderfully. I wish they had freezer bags to give out as some other places do but no biggie. The staff working here are young but polite. Bagel faves of ours include the peanut butter, honey wheat, protein bar and cranberry/walnut. Not the Montréal bagels that I grew up with but these are pretty decent and we prefer this alternative than typical grocery store bagels.

Was impressed with their selection of bagels — made in house!(I’m a sucker for freshly made breads & baked goods) — and cream cheeses; the sandwiches(both breakfast and lunch), smoothies; and the added extra baked goods — like cinnamon rolls(I got one and it was huge). The few times I’ve been here so far I usually get a Canadian breakfast bagel to go, but definitely have to give the rest of the menu a taste. It definitely gets busy inside, but that’s always a good thing.

So, I have a love/hate relationship with Bagels & Blenderz. They are conveniently located in the Town and Country plaza across from the El Pollo Loco. I enjoy their food. As the only bagel game in town, the food is consistently tasty. There is a good variety of breakfast options as well as lunch options. I often get the Goldi Lox which is a smoked salmon/lox on a toasted bagel with capers and tomatoes. The Californian is a nice, light and healthy option. For the hot sandwiches, I’ve enjoyed the Boss’s Lunch and the Rosemary Turkey Melt. If I’m not getting a sandwich, I love the spinach bagel with the garden vegetable or sun-dried tomato cream cheese. Most of the smoothies are a bit too sweet so I prefer Jamba Juice. The iced chai latte is really tasty though. So, why the middle-of-the-road rating? The service experience is just so variable! The staff in general is nice but I don’t get the sense that there is much organization. There may be a line of 6 – 7 people waiting to order food, but no one will be at the register. Some of the less regular waitstaff are either overly attentive or almost completely ignore you. As noted in a prior review, the tables are infrequently bussed. In my attempt to avoid the wait in line, I have also previously called to order my food for pick up. I’ve been hung up on twice and almost always put on hold as soon as I call in. Finally, why the styrofoam cups? I know they are much cheaper but they are really so bad for the environment.

You like a good healthy breakfast? Get the veggie egg burrito and a Heath bar instead of a bagel. This is good fuel for the body. I like this place a lot. We have bfast catered sometimes at work from here. They have a great community announcement board and lots of runners gather here before and after workout. Solid Bakersfield hangout with good vibes

Their cinnamon rolls are just to die for. They are very generous with the frosting. I always order one to go and microwave it at home for 30 secs. Their breakfast burritos are also very delicious. I feel that they always put just the right amount of everything so that each bite is perfect. For example, I don’t have to bite the left side for the eggs followed by the right side for all the meat. It’s just evenly mixed. I have also gotten their omelette before and although it was tasty, the avocados were all brown so I scrapped them off. That discouraged me from ever getting anything with avocados here.

This girl gave me a burnt bagel… I saw her look at how burned it was and wrap it up anyways. She knew it too. I heard her say some nonsense about it too. Everyone their just stares so rudely. Jeez makes me uncomfortable to even go there. The 2 stars is because I like their bagels.

The food is great and the smoothies are delicious but you won’t get all of your order together. Breakfast bagels are my favorite!

If you’re going to eat breakfast here, you’re better off grabbibg a smoothie and a bagel or sweets. Well, maybe their sandwiches are better? None of us got one so I can’t say. I had their chorizo and it was disappointing. Their smoothies and sweet treats are delicious though. The banana blitz is my favorite out of the ones we had and one of the cookies, a powdered shortbread with a brown filing was really yummy, despite me not remembering the name. Otherwise, the place is cute and the staff was very nice!

Great food, good smoothies. I recommend the cinnamon roll. They’ll even warm it up for you if you ask. Pretty good variety on their menu. Watch out for the hours, especially on weekends. I saw some complaints about customer service, but I didn’t have any. Then again, I’m usually here for lunch when it’s not very busy.

It is rare to find a place that makes delicious homemade bagels as well as bagel sandwiches. The service is always great and I know that this is a reliable place to get breakfast after going to the gym. Favorites: Peanut Butter Bagel — toasted/not toasted either way is delicious Rosemary Heaven Canadian Bacon Breakfast Bagel *if you eat there they give you a side of fruit, but if you take it to go you just get the sandwich. Strawberry Sunrise — orange, strawberry, & banana The update to the building was much needed and makes the place look cleaner. There is ample amount of outdoor seating so you can bring your dog with you. I’ll continue coming here.

Love this place. For me it is super convenient and open early in the morning. When I have time, I will go in and get a breakfast burrito. It is great tasting and cheap. It is $ 4.28 after taxes. In the morning,(6am-ish) there is a large group of regulars in this place, drinking coffee and sharing stories I’m sure. The menu is large and varied. You can get breakfast sandwiches, salads, lunch platters, donuts, yogurt parfaits, juice smoothies, bread, coffee, and of course a bagel. My favorite bagel is the peanut butter and a close second is Cinnamon glaze. I believe there are like 15 different bagels and then you got like 6 or so different flavors cream cheeses.

I have been here multiple times and it’s not a bad place to grab a decent, healthy thing to eat. Depending on what you decide to order of course. The wife and I have ordered various items and we consider it a just above average joint. It is located in a good location, the prices are good, food is prepared fast and staff are always friendly.

Talk about poor customer service. We waited at the cash register for 5 minutes before anyone came to us. Then they only came up when they saw someone with a phone order come in. They pulled that customer from the back of the line to the front of the line and did a whole transaction which included taking the donut my fiancé wanted(it was the last one of its kind). We brought it to his attention about how rude it was, but all he did was try to justify it. Then they messed up my order. Two stars because they redid it correctly & quickly without complaint.

I’ve been here a few times for breakfast and the food is always pretty good. After all, it’s pretty hard to mess up a bagel. My main complaint about Bagels and Blenders is the customer service and the atmosphere of the place. First off, not a single employee smiling. I think a little positive energy in the place would go a long way. And the cleanliness of the place is terrible. Every open table was dirty, and there are forks and napkins on the floor and the trash cans are full. I ended up cleaning the table myself just to eat.

This place is great for breakfast. They recently redesigned their store and it looks awesome. If I’m really hungry, I love getting their bacon bagel breakfast sandwiches with a coffee. They recently started serving Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf coffee, which is way better than what they used to have. I usually like to let my kids split a bagel with cream cheese and a plate of scrambled eggs, which works well since they’re young. They told me once that the cream cheeses were all low fat, but I’m not sure if that’s true, because it’s so good. It’s a favorite of mine, but try to get there early, as it gets pretty packed after 9AM.
