My little cousin invited us here for a little graduation dinner. Went in with an open mind as we had heard and read some bad things about the place.
First off it wasn’t as busy as I expected which was good. As we were looking for our party we walked through the buffet and it was very dirty food on the ground and kids running around.
Our waiter was attentive which I guess was good.
Probably the only good thing about the whole experience.
All the food we tried was cold, had no flavor whatsoever or/​and was way too salty.
Also a lot of the food trays were empty and it must of taken about 15⁄20 minutes to refill only for it to be cold.
We thought it’d be a good idea to ask for steak as they were cooking it right there, asked for medium well and got rare and medium rare (4 different people!) so what’s the point of asking how people want the steak!
The chocolate fountain was surrounded by kids so we didn’t even bother.
Over all we wouldn’t recommend and we won’t be going back.

Lots of options but not worth the $. The best things I tried was the fish and the fried shrimp. The kids loved the cotton candy and the chocolate dipping station. The staff is very friendly. If it’s somebody’s birthday, they will sing to them. We will most likely not return.

If your looking a variety of food, this your place. Other than that, it’s crap. Food is mediocre at best. Most of it is cold. Unless you have them make you an omelet. But there is a long line for that. The service today was ok. We were greeted when we walked in but ten minutes later I had to hunt down my waitress. An employee sat behind us in a booth eating and talking really loud in Spanish on his cell phone. I noticed a lot of employees going and getting food, scarfing it down in 5 min and and leaving. While they walked by a pancake on the floor. The only good thing about this place is you can go right in, sit down, eat and leave.

The food has gotten much better and everywhere is clean. The dessert area looks great. The employees are friendlier too. Lots of improvement seen.

I’m giving a 3 star review for the food, but the service last night was a 5! The staff at this location all seemed happy to be there and happy to help. I don’t normally like to eat at buffets, but I was quite pleased with the food selection and the quality of the food presented. I only wish we had more cash to leave for a bigger tip. When you pay with your card there isn’t a place to leave a tip, so if you are planning on eating here, bring cash for a tip, you’ll want to tip well after you see how hard this staff works with a smile on their face.

This is a chain buffet restaurant, so my expectations were not very high. The price was very good, again, making you think the food will not be underwhelming.
I was pleasantly supplied surprised by many of the items. The steak that they grill right in front of you, was excellent. Dare I say as good as some steak houses.
The deep-​fried mushrooms were also very good, as good as almost anywhere else I’ve been. Surprisingly, with a very crisp coating and large mushrooms.
The rest of the food was about what I expected, cooked in large quantities, not too much flavor, but definitely not the worst I’ve had at a buffet.
The desserts were pretty good, I particularly enjoyed the hand scooped ice cream, which was very creamy.

Very crowded cold food I watch somebody stick your finger in the salad dressing lick it and stick it back in how gross they need to have more staff watching for items like this they need to pull them it’s a health hazard I think you’re a bit overpriced for what you get they had a lot of items that they were out of

Yes, yes, I know that this is el cheapo food at its worst but it was quick and I didn’t think it was possible that things had gotten that much worse here. WRONG! This poor place is just barely tolerable. Its badly run down and in desperate need of some TLC. And the irony of the Christian music playing in the temple to greed, gluttony, false idolatry, and too many others to name is just too much. Do the owners think that a little religious music overrides the fact that they run a food filled sewer? I have some bad news for them if they really do believe in the invisible man in the sky… he is not going to be happy about how they are making their money.

I was really looking forward to my visit as the Golden Corral I used to live by was great. This one was a let down, from the service to the food nothing was average. Lots of the food was the same stuff from when we got there till we left. Our table got totally cleaned off one time when we went to get some more food. Lots of the food seemed to be lacking flavor. I tried to get stuff that was put out fresh, but that was rare. The highest turnover was the fried shrimp. Salad bar was pretty empty and a lot of the mixed salads stayed empty. Dont know if it will be worth trying again if in the area, if so, definitely for the lunch as the dinner prices were not worth it.

Disgust. Dont even know where to start. Came in around 6 on a Saturday night and all the selections looked like mush.
*ALL the handles to the food server in all stations were STICKY or GREASY.
*Went to grab platefuls of food 4 times within 30 minutes, because everything I tasted was HELLA SALTY and inedible (taco meat, chicken, soup, Chinese food)
*I thought the salad bar was my saving grace, but even the lettuce was not crisp. I was wilted. The toppings had been cross contaminated. There were olives in the cheese, bacon in the croutons, cheese in the bacon. NASTY.
*What’s the point of having the chocolate fountain behind the counter if no one is watching. There’s kids that lick their rice crispies or marshmallow and then they stick it in the fountain and if I had not seen that, I would have used the fountain.
I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE. Take your business to hometown buffet. This place is so gross.

I haven’t been here since last year when we all got food poisoning, and NO they never apologies. Pushed under rug.
So here we are again my 8 yr wanted to come here for dinner. So let’s say by the pic of the gross as food is in the crevices of the table. Yuck! Waiter. Very bad.
So I thought I would be safe to get salad. So I walk over there to look at the dressing etc. just to watch this lady. take her fingers, put in the salad dressing, and then lick her finger to try it. I guess I about threw up in my mouth. My appetite went down the drain. I’m telling you this place needs to shut down.
So gross I don’t know how they have a good score
I will not return here again.

The worst GC I’ve ever been to. 7pm, two hours before closing, no food. Filthy. Nothing wiped down. No meats. No Mexican. EVERYTHING is empty. I paid $ 17.00 to eat salad and dry pot roast, soggy corn. The manager kept promising they would back fill. Never happened.
I dont recommend this dirty buffet. Go to another place. Go to Hodels or the local Asian buffet. This place sucks.

Unilocal needs a 0 stars. I won’t be going back. This place is so bad and I feel bad giving reviews like this but people should know.
First off a lot of the stations had empty trays, the food tasted like garbage, the table was sticky like it wasn’t cleaned before we got there, and there was a cockroach on the wall (we seen at the end of the meal)
And the customer service needs help. We had to get our own refills because no one was around, there was a couple waiting to pay to enter for like 5 minutes before someone acknowledged them, and I stood at the ham station for 5 minutes waiting for someone to cut a piece before I just gave up.
Just go somewhere else please. It’s really bad.

Unilocal needs to add a minus star review! This place is H O R R I B L E! Keep driving… don’t STOP! Okay you have been warned. I hate giving a place a bad name, but when they deserve it, well not so much.
Now I’ll get to why I’ve decided to knock this place down.
1) DIRTY Dishes, yes food still stuck on the «clean» dishes they provide!
2) DIRTY fry oil! You can taste it when it hasn’t been changed in a while Unacceptable Period.
3) Barren salad bar
4) Dirty tables
5) The Food is plain horrible, and not fresh!
And to conclude this review, I will add without to many gory details, my poor husband is doubling over with stomach cramps. I may have to file a complaint with the people who grade cleanliness of such establishments. I ate like a bird then it came to a H A U L T! After seeing stuck food on the dishes. Yuck! Can you imagine the silverware.

This restaurant is everything that is wrong with America. Gigantic portions of (at best) mediocre food for a reasonable price. But hey it’s all you can eat. If you don’t hate yourself after eating here you lack a certain level of self awareness that is necessary for self preservation.
Though, the staff was just lovely and couldn’t have been nicer.

I would like to start this review off by stating that I am a glutton for punishment. When it comes to golden corral, I’ve managed to fall ill everytime I’ve eaten there. Maybe it was my fault for eating too much, or maybe the food got me sick. While some of the food items can, at times, taste splendid; It should be said that I find most of the options to choose from are bland. The first time I ate at the buffet, I was excited to try out a new place to eat in town. I ate started off with seafood and worked my way across the buffet line. After leaving the buffet, I vomited outside of the car. Second time I went, I ate considerably less, but still ate the seafood and chicken. I still vomited and had severe cramping. Third time was slightly more pleasant. Only cramping and mild nausea.
Would I return to eat here again? Probably. I like to see if the quality ever does improve.

I can see why some people might love the food here. I went for lunch and there was a huge buffet line. My dad and I couldn’t enjoy it though because everything is so over-​salted or over-​sweetened! So if you’re worried about buffet food being bland it certainly won’t happen here. I had to alternate bites of meatloaf and cornbread pudding to stand either dish so that the two would sort of cancel each other out.
Cleanliness: it was okay. Lots of flies buzzing around everywhere.
I would go for the salad bar because you ca get better control of the seasoning by making your own salad. Avoid the pre-​mixed stuff because even those and the dressings are too salty.
The chocolate fountain and cotton candy machine are also very fun but their other desserts are again too sweet to consume for me. I had a chocolate cheesecake tart that hurt my teeth from all the sugar.
The commercials don’t convey the real experience.
