This location is very convenient for anyone craving mariscos in the southwest side. Clearly not the best in town, but the restaurant is clean and I feel is better than their original location. I always order the aguachiles and they were good. If you want real good mariscos, you’re going to have to eat outside at Las Cazuelitas.

If you’re seeking pacific side Mexican this is the spot in Bako. I think the execution is better than the original location. It is certainly a nicer building and a safer location.

After hearing so many good things about this place we decided to give it a try! One of the cleanest seafood restaurants I’ve been too, staff was super friendly and service was great! I had the Camarones a la Diablo, which were very good, not too spicy but the right amount of heat to be able to enjoy. Came with a side of white rice with veggies in it and refrigerate beans. Husband had a shrimp cocktail, the shrimp were very well deveined and had lots of shrimp, not enough veggies, which is our favorite part. I love lemon with my seafood and unfortunately they only serve lines, I can taste a great difference, but other than that food was good. Fish ceviche was also okay I thought it lacked some flavor but way better than other places we’ve tried Will try again

Here visiting from Chicago and really wanted Mexican seafood. So glad my in laws brought us here! We ordered the ceviche for our appetizer and were very happy. Our waitress told us we could do half shrimp and half fish ceviche, which was perfect so we could try the two varieties. Both were very good! My husband ordered the fish tacos and let me steal a bite. I’ve had fish tacos in San Diego, Orange County, Chicago, and Washington DC, and these definitely were one of the bests I’ve ever had! I ordered the camarones al veneno and loved every second. I love spicy food, so these were a perfect heat for me. Very spicy, but not to the point where I’m uncomfortable. If you don’t like spicy, stay away. Lol I also ordered El Remedio, a drink served in a cantarito that was very strong and good. All in all, this place was a great choice! I look forward to stopping by every time we’re in town.

The campechana cocktail with octopus, baby clams, shrimp, abalone, and crab(aka surimi) was delicious! We highly recommend it with lots of lemon and tapatio!

If you want authentic Mexican Food in a clean, large restaurant this place is it! They serve everything from pulpo(octopus) ceviche to complete seafood platters. Take a look at the pic I posted — the shrimp cooked on top of the cans of Modelo is next on my list!

I was visiting family in Bakersfield and were craving some delicious mariscos. My aunt suggested we try this place out since she had heard great things about it and we were not disappointed at all. We ordered half a dozen of empanadas de camaron which were amazing! My aunt ordered tacos de camaron which were okay but they served with some amazing salsa Verde! I had camarones al mojo de ajo and my friend had camarones a la diabla which were the best I have ever had! The only thing I don’t recommend is the agua de piña which just tasted like it was made with powder. To my understanding this is a new place and it is a nice place with great food. As far as the service, that I think can improve. When we walked in it took a while for us to be greeted and seated, the waitress didn’t really seem to know the plates that were in the menu. Next time I visit Bakersfield I will surely return here and get camarones a la diabla.
