Horrible service. Manager wasn’t interested in addressing a problem we had. We waited at counter for a lengthy time to pay. No one else could help so they went to the restroom to literally get the cashier while everyone else stood around. Rangoon’s were over cooked in old grease and tasted stale. Store was clean though

I had to get a Lunch for 30 people and had about 30 minutes. Went to this clean as a whistle Panda and with the help of their manager was able to place my order and within thirty minutes of the order the food was ready to go all packed including utensils, plates, fortune cookies it was just amazing. I got brown rice chow-mien, noodles, beef and chicken dishes. Even after all the people ate there was almost 40% of the food left and the total cost was $ 198.00 . This was the best service I have ever had in a PANDAS.

Very STINGEY, I dont expect it to be bursting out of the container but i spent nearly 20 dollars for two people(without drinks mind you) and I at least expect to be full after eating. Good food, measly portions. I’d recommend a mom n’ pop before this place.

This Panda Express is a typical Panda Express… but with a drive thru. If you are in the mood for American Chinese food, this isn’t a bad place to go. I haven’t had an issue with customer service or the quality of food. Because it’s a chain, you get what you are expecting(assuming that you’ve had Panda Express before). Orange chicken is their most popular entrée and I typically get a bowl with fried rice. A simple, yet flavorful meal(and only when I don’t feel like thinking about all the sodium that is in it). The drive thru is a major convenience, especially when it’s hot and the places isn’t busy.

When you want Chinese food and you want it fast… well kind of, this is the place to go. The food is good quality for Panda Express… it’s fast food chinese food. The thing that’s the best about this location is that they have a drive thru. This location tends to stay pretty busy and waits in the drive thru or even in store can be 10 – 15 minutes when they are really busy. The area where they are located can be a little difficult to get into and drive around(especially when the drive thru line gets long). When we don’t have tike for a sit down Chinese food restaurant and nust want to grab something and go home, this is our go to place.

Just walked out the door. Wasn’t even able to eat. I got in line and waited. When it was my turn I asked if the bejing beef was fresh. The girl said no its been out forever. So naturally I said how long for fresh bejing beef. She said when we run out of the old one we will make more. Why the hell would they sell something they know is old and stale AND turn away a customer that specifically drove over to the shopping center just for panda express? I’ve had way too many bad experiences with multiple panda expresses lately. Think I’m done trying. 0 stars

This is one of the worst Panda Express locations that I have ever visited. The food is almost always cold and the person at the drive thru window is almost always unfriendly. It is too bad that east bakersfield is lacking Chinese food places. The drive through line and the line inside make this a stop I would rather avoid after work or during busy hours, can’t they do something to fix this?

Most tables were dirty. Staff was rude and the portion size was not as generous as other locations. Glad there are other pandas nearby.

There food is great here for a good price on Chinese food, lunch and dinner rushes bring a bit of a wait but well worth the food the family and I get both chow me in and there fried rice, I’ve had almost all of there entrees and they have good recipes but my favorite is orange chicken and Beijing beef since they discontinued the mandarin chicken in the area to replace it with teriyaki chicken which is good aswell, we ordered pickup last night and it was ready to go on arrival and still warm when it got home. They even branded their sauces and we buy them to use as sauce in our own recipes.

Today’s visit will be my last here today. How can they run with this type of manager. Ana, Panda Express’s manager had an experience to remember. They accidentally charged me to much, I explained the situation to the lady which then spoke with the manager. Time after time they opened my plate to make sure what I was saying wasn’t a lie(it really upset me because why would they have to keep putting their face in my food and not believe a fellow co worker.) Ana was extremely rude and I don’t understand why she handled my issue in a rude way. She should be the one apologizing. No sympathy, no kindness. She refunded my card and I left furious of the way management even handles these issues. It took them 3 – 4 minutes just to refund me. Done with this place.

Normally Panda is pretty consistent with their food. This location was the exception. Some items were way too salty and others bland. The place is really dirty too. Not coming back to this one.

Horrible customer service. Also, a roach was crawling across the floor, and when I told one of the workers there, she simply said it came from outside and didn’t bother to go after it… Uh, I don’t care if it’s a trained pet of yours that you brought with you to work because you didn’t feel comfortable leaving it at home alone, that is extremely unsanitary and needs to be taken care of before it finds its way into a customer’s plate as Orange Roach. The food tasted okay, as you would expect from any Panda Express, nothing grand but filling. The workers there, however, were a bit too stingy with how much food they give you. Smaller portions than usual.

I have never written a review so here it goes… The worst customer service I have ever encountered. I will never eat Panda Express ever again. I was double charged(the order screen was out of service) and as I was asking drive thru attendant why, she seemed extremely rushed and bothered I was asking why total was so high. So I told her cancel my whole order, she turns around puts head set on and states«Oh hell no.» Um excuse me? So manager came, refunded whatever I was over charged(never said Im sorry). I told her what happened with drive thru attendant, she said she would«talk to her.» As I pulled away, manager gave me a glare of annoyance, I wasnt told«have a nice day» or an «Im Sorry.» Ive never received good service here and this was the final straw.

I’m a huge fan of panda. But, not at this location. The staff was nice and service was fast. However, the food was soggie and had a weird after taste. The only good part is it has a drive thru.

I’ve been a fan of Panda since the 90’s. THey have always been a good alternative to the cruddy buffets and grease bowls. THis location has been consistantly horrible. THe food is beyond disgusting. Soft and mushy. It’s like they are collecting the left overs and re-serving trashcan scraps from the last day, week, month over again. BARRRRF! I am not ever going to eat at this location ever again. Panda Express is WACK now.

If you live on the East side and you’re in the mood for«Americanized» Chinese food this should be your go-to place. The restaurant is clean, brightly lit, and decorated in vibrant colors. There is ample parking and, best of all, it has a drive through(for which I gave it that extra star)!! Panda Express is well known for it’s Orange Chicken, but I actually prefer the Black Pepper Chicken. I like to fool myself into thinking that it might be a healthier option since it isn’t breaded and deep fried. My brother discovered that they will give you a sample of a dish to taste as you are going through the line. That’s good to know as I always have trouble deciding if I should try something new or just go with my standard tried and true favorites. He always asks for a sample of their shrimp dishes, and they really do give him a shrimp to taste/eat! Unlike traditional Chinese restaurants where you sit at a table to order, Panda is set up like a buffet where you get a tray, see all the items that are available through the protective glass, and tell the workers what you’d like them to serve you as you move down the line. I usually order a two item combo which comes with a choice of fried rice or noodles as a side. My brother is a big fan of the fried rice, but I’m more of a noodle girl myself. Are you going to get authentic Chinese style dishes? No, but you know you’ll get food that is fast and consistent in quality and taste.
