Love this Starbucks! Much bigger than it looks from the outside and clean, well stocked shop. The workers here are very friendly and fast!

One of the newest Starbucks that opened up recently. Was looking for a central place in Bakersfield to have a meeting with some people and decided to give this place a try. Great location! I walked in and was surprised at the depth of the place. Narrow but lots of room and tables to sit. They even have a board room size conference table. The service was very friendly and the drink was typical Starbucks quality. I ordered the flat white which is my go to drink at the moment. The place was pretty quiet and we were able to have our meeting with no distractions. I will definitely be using this place for meetings more often. As for the drive-thru? I have not yet utilized this service here so no comment on that. Be aware with all the construction still going on, the parking is not ideal but I assume that this issue will be taken care of once everything is built out.

A bit unhappy with this location today! I’ve been in the drive-thru now for 15 minutes and am still 3 cars back. Let’s pick up the pace baristas!

Just opened but its clean & their mobile orders are on point !! I walk in & my drink is waiting with a note with my name on it so no waiting around to ask super busy baristas. Its GREAT !!! I found my new go to spot each morning. Thank you

Nice place, good customer service by pleasant people. It has the standard Starbucks fare… not bad. Now that the businesses around it have started to open it is a nice little food court stop.

Had to sit in my car a slap out this review only because it irritates me that such a new store that with such a nice new ambiance has to have such poor customer service. First I decided to go inside since I was purchasing a gift card for our mail carrier, I know she loves Starbucks. And I wanted to pick it out. So I waited in line while the cashier struggled through the customer in front of me. Ok so he was new. Only to realize he was just stressed out because no one was even helping him at all! Ok I pay for my drink and pay cash for my gift card only to be told that there are no little envelopes for the cards, REALLY! It’s a new store! Ok so he tells me he can give me a small cup and I can put tissue in it. Ok thanks for trying. Then it’s time for me to sign my receipt and no pen, so I start digging around in my own purse to look for one. Really people. Well he finds one and now the line is really long. So I go wait down at the other area where you get your drinks only to listen to two employees complain about burning themselves on some pastry and something at home and this that and the other whilst this kid at the register is freaking out busy. Now I get my iced coffee filled to the brim, I put my straw in it and it spills everywhere as they look on, so I grab for a napkin and the dispenser is so tightly packed they shred. Rrrrrrr. So I’m mopping up the coffee they sloppily made and it tasted burnt to top that off. Two stars because it’s nice and new. Customer service is so lacking. Sorry for such a rant but I would of expected more from a new store.

This Starbucks, located across California Avenue from Marie Calendars and behind the new Corner Bakery Café, is just barely open, but I’ve already had the pleasure of visiting twice, once on a Tuesday night around 9pm and once on a Sunday morning around 10am, both visits lasting over an hour, so I have had a chance to really get a feel for how it’s run. The space is long and narrow, but doesn’t feel cramped. The décor is standard Starbucks issue Earth tones in browns and creams with a black ceiling. There are dark wood tables in a variety of sizes from two seaters through a conference sized table seating 10 so you can enjoy your coffee alone, with a friend, or in a herd. The 2-seater tables are all conveniently located near electrical outlets so you can recharge your computer while the coffee recharges your soul. I sit at one of them, charging my laptop and my i-pad as I write this review sipping on a Venti Chestnut Praline Latte. Yes, it is that time of year again when I visit twice as often as I usually do to partake of their fabled holiday beverages: gingerbread latte, eggnog latte, chestnut praline latte, peppermint mocha. Mmmmm… I can just feel the holiday spirit take over. And it arrives in a beautiful red holiday cup. The baristas are friendly and efficient; this place hasn’t been open nearly long enough for ennui to set in, so they’re still exemplifying the legendary service Starbucks is known for. The espresso drinks arrive quickly and are as good as any I’ve had at Starbucks and the pastries(I’ve tried the lemon loaf and the egg white & spinach wrap) are satisfying. This location has a comfortable and welcoming vibe. Bring your laptop or i-pad, enjoy their free wifi, and settle in for a little people watching.
