At first I liked this place because it was close to my house. However, the owner has increased the price through the roof. Also, their employees solicit hard just for a dollar upgrade. Every single item I asked, the employee was asking if I’d like extra meat, extra this and that. I felt that it was a point of harassment! I’ll travel to the Subway on Coffee and Olive from now on.

One of my favorite Subways to stop at when driving into Bakersfield. The staff is always pleasant and friendly. You are greeted with a smile when walking thru the door. The vegetables and bread are always fresh.

This location is much better than the N. Chester location. I’ve never had a problem at this location.

Subway at one point was a good place to eat but as of recent years its food has declined in taste and portions. Maybe its just this location or just cuz I wanted to eat pancakes and I’m dieting that im Downing them. Nah, its the food. Lol.

This morning my husband went into Subway, and I tagged teamed by heading into the Starbucks, as we needed to get on the road. He walked and was ignored by the woman at the register, while she was in her own little world. Thinking she was perhaps having some sort of computer issue, or was just starting up the computer for the morning, he said, «I forgot what my wife wanted, I’ll be right back.» He came and found me in line at Starbucks and verified my order, then headed back into the Subway next door. Again, he was ignored. The lady was actually nowhere to be found this time. He yelled down the«aisle» for help, and a disgustingly rude lady named Beatriz said, «Yea, what do you want?» What a way to greet a customer! I know it’s 7am lady, but come on! She proceeded to purposefully go as slow as molasses, and with five people ahead of me at Starbucks, I was still done five minutes sooner than my husband ordering a footlong and a 6-inch. Probably the worst Subway customer experience of my life. There is actually a location closer to my house, and obviously I should stick to it.

It’s subway, they dont need a review. This location is rarely busy and the staff is always quick and pleasant. Great location on the way to work. In and out in about 5 minutes every time I go.

Typical subway. Everyone is nice. My only complaint is the owner always has her computer set up at one of the tables. Even when they are busy and all the other tables are taken up she won’t move her computer to let a customer sit down. It’s pretty annoying. I’ve been coming here for a couple years and its always the same thing. I’ve actually had to eat in my work truck because of this.

I really battled on this update and to how many stars it should be. I still come here regularly, but this particular location has seemed to changed a bit how their assembly line works. At first I thought I was just being picky, and then I realized how bad it really was when I brought some friends here for lunch and they swore they would never come back. They are often busy at lunch, which is great for them, but here is the problem. they have about 4 or 5 girls that work the line, and they ask you what they want before passing it down. The problem arises when someone wants something toasted or unique. All of a sudden that seems to really shake their world. Before you know it, the person you are working with has either disappeared or stopped to deal with another sandwich and forgets who you were, where in line you were, what they asked you and what your answer is. This is kind of a pain in the ass when youve already told 2 or 3 people before them what you want. Even worse when it bottle necks up at the register. They need to focus on who they are working with instead of calling to 3 or 4 people behind you just to fit more in as fast as they can. I understand they are looking for speed, but nothing is more costly with time than having to ask the same person 4 or 5 times what they wanted, and then forgetting about them completely because that little toaster bell went off and you suddenly had to rush to get whatever was in there. Its not only maddening to the customer, but as an employee Im surprised some of those girls havent walked out from the sure insanity of it.
