Target Optical

I received a pair of glasses from Target Optical. I came in the morning when they first opened therefore i had no wait. The girl that helped me was super friendly. I paid a reasonable price for a simple yet cute pair of glasses. I went to another optometrist location for glasses and i was nearly going to be charged 300 plus for a pair of glasses, which is ridiculous. I am in love with my new pair of glasses from Target Optical. I will not go to any other optical location for glasses.

Came here cuz my friend said they’ll take care of everything I scheduled a late appt for 6:15pm thinking they won’t be busy and even if they are i have an appointment so it shouldn’t even be a problem I checked in at 6 and waited till 6:40pm and the lady said they’re almost done and you’re next. I walked out and left my cart full of stuff and just went home. Why would they let you wait if you have an appointment? Staff are just chit chatting with each other. I lost my patience and will never come back to this one.

Worst experience trying to have an eye exam ever. I called in advance to be certain my insurance was accepted and would be authorized before my appt. The office assistant was unable to ask insurance representative the correct questions to find the correct information to complete this task. After I made a call to my insurance, they called her back and easily authorized it. This took an HOUR to handle.
In the optical store, Mario was pathetically unclear explaining two different costs depending on if I paid out of pocket or if I used insurance. He gave me different prices and inaccurate information which continued to change. On top of that he tried to sell me another full pair at an extreme discount, at first telling me my insurance would cover it, then changing the story saying I would have to it pay out of pocket to get the special discount they were offering. It was a cluster mess of an afternoon and I ended up running out of time to do ANYTHING as I HS to leave to pick up kids. I have loved all things Target but this experience makes me not want to come back to the store for anything ever again. Is honest straightforward customer service impossible? Is it just too much to ask for nowadays?

I went to Target Optical after hearing a high price quote from another store that supposedly had a «$ 97 deal» on eyeglasses. The staff was great. The glasses came out $ 100 cheaper than the first store that I had visited. I got a 30% discount for being a AAA member. Glasses are expensive period, but I gladly paid $ 242 for my pair versus the $ 347 from the previous store. My prior pair of glasses also came from Target. I believe they were a similar price.
