Enjoyed a great retirement lunch at Uncle’s today. The food was great! Had the ribs, tri-tip and chili beans. Fantastic! Loved every bite. The rest of our group had ribs, chicken, tri-tip and a variety of side dishes. WEALLLOVEDIT! Gotta say it was the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time. We had strawberry shortcake, German chocolate in a jar which are just a couple of their speciality deserts. Next time I’m attacking the peach cobbler. Had to take some desert home along with my left-overs. The service was well, 2nd to none. Garland runs the place with his family and makes you feel right at home. Had a nice conversation with him before we left. Just great people… Thank you Uncle’s.

It’s money! Uncle BBQ is a little hidden away jewel. Disguised as a a normal BBQ spot. Here they are selling a little bit of paradise to hold us over till we can get to heaven. They pride themselves on the baby backs and they should. The ribs are great. The portion and texture is just right. But they need to hire a plane to pull around a banner telling people about their chicken. Boneless white meat that is succulent. No dry meat here. They are doing it right. That BBQ sauce is smooth! Right combo of sweet meets vinegar. A lot of these guys BBQ sauces are to strong and slaps you across the face. Not uncle BBQ… Their sauce puts it’s arm around you and asks you how your doing. Green beans have a pepper overtone that brings me back to my aunts side dishes during the holidays. Worth going. Worth paying for. If I have any compliant. I would say the potato salad was a little underdone. But that could be all preference. And I need a beef rib Uncle BBQ! Come on, I know if you did beef ribs it would be great!

I found Uncle’s after hearing about it on the radio during a business trip. Had the tri-tip and ribs and both were perfect! Also had the chili beans and tater salad… both also excellent. I had ordered a rack of ribs to go after I ate and the owner Garland brought them out himself and talked for a while. Good story of entrepreneurship and small business success. I will be back.

Went here for the first time the other day with some girls from work on our lunch break. I was definitely impressed! I ordered the tri tip dinner, it came with a roll and two sides. The portions were large and the food was better! The tri tip was cooked perfectly, just the right amount of bbq sauce on top. It was tender and had that perfect bbq taste. For my sides I got fries, which were seasoned great and nice & crunchy. The other side I got was mac & cheese, I am a huge na& cheese lover and this was perfect, so cheeses. It wasn’t that box mess you could tell it was authentic homemade extra cheesy Mac & cheese. I paid about $ 13 for my meal & a drink which wasn’t as considering the size and the taste, well worth! I will definitely be back :)

Brought my wife and we each ordered links and tri tip, she with Mac and cheese and potato salad and I with chili beans and potato salad. Half way through lunch my wife tells me, «if I was on death row, this is what i’d want for my last meal. »

Really small place. People were super nice. Food was decent. You could tell who the regulars were. There is only one bathroom, so the line was pretty long.

Delicious tri-tip, very smoky and perfectly cooked. The chili beans were great also. Friendly service, family owned place.

Great, locally owned BBQ place. Nice value for the price on the sandwiches. The BBQ sauce is good, and sometimes they have a spicy sauce if you ask. Do NOT get the spicy sauce on the hot links, as they are pretty hot already! The potato salad is excellent, as are the«cakes in a jar». If you see the peach cobbler in a far, trust me and get it.

Good food all around! Came in with a group of 3 and we all ordered something different to try a little bit of everything and nothing disappointed us. I was craving good ribs and I got that! The green beans are pretty awesome as well! We will be back for sure!

I have now eaten here a dozen or more times and I have came to the conclusion that they could care less whether customers come into this place or not. Three times recently I have called in an order. Three times they do not start the order until you check in at the counter. What is the point of calling the order in if is going to take 20 to 25 minutes anyhow? And when you get impatient and show it, they look at you like you got something wrong with you. Get a clue Uncles– people call orders in because they don’t want to wait! That’s what I told them! and yes they did look at me like I was crazy. TWOSTARS!

I could not give it a no star. I went there for the first time yesterday and as soon as I walked through the door, I was told by the employee that they were out of everything but hot links and desert. All I can say is wow. And it was only 5:30.

Hmm… I went last Saturday, and… I wasn’t impressed. As another reviewer says, everyone has their own opinion of what BBQ should be. For me, the measure is tender, slow-cooked, tasty meat. I ordered the ribs, and got meat that was a long way from tender, slathered with an overpowering sauce that seemed to be doing its best to hide the taste of the meat. The bread was your standard supermarket overprocessed white-bread hot dog bun. The folks were nice, though…

I tried this spot out for the first time today. I will say that I’m VERY picky when it comes to BBQ and this place does not disappoint. The tri tip sandwich was on point and the bread was very soft. The meat was very flavorful as well. I personally am not too crazy about the sauce but it was not enough for me to subtract a star. The softness of the bread and the flavoring of the meat made it a great sandwich overall and let’s not forget the chili beans. I’m not really much a chili bean person but I will be having theirs again and again. Last but not least, the customer service. Everyone was very friendly and the service was prompt. They will be seeing me again.

The food was excellent today. A bit pricey but good. Why did I give it one star? Cuz I got really bad food poisoning. It’s been 12 hours since I had their food and I’m in so much pain. I’m so disappointed because I wanted to go back but now I don’t trust their food. I hope the same doesn’t happen to you.

Nice to have a tasty flavorful bbq spot on this side of town ;) My co-workers & I went for lunch, service was fast and friendly. They had the tri tip sandwich and I had the Ribs and hot link dinner and it was all very good. Excited to have it so close to work. Will definitely keep coming back and next time I’ll have to try the cake in a jar.

Just arrived the big man himself greeted me, very friendly proud, and confident of my pleasure in his brand of BBQ. After being served a glass of ice water while waiting for my too go order a fellow new customer struck up a conversation about how professionally the place appeared to be operated. I agreed and picked up my order and went to the car. I drove a few miles and was finally overcome by the succulent smell emerging from my bag. At a red light I popped the top on my container of Potato Salad and had a bite of a fantastic recipe that was just to my taste. The container was gone before I made it home. Now the BBQ was as promised was delicious. The ribs seemed to be slow cooked with a light skin crisping then just before serving slathered with Uncles special sauce. «Juicy and Meaty» You won’t be disappointed.
