Everyone knows this place is not cheap, but the level of customer service is worth it! I came here to buy a gift for a bridal shower with nothing but a name and a vague idea of what I wanted. Leann help me find the registry I needed, and patiently helped me find the perfect gifts. She had several great ideas to help me personalize the gift and make it more meaningful. I love shopping in the store, and would come more often if I had more disposable income and cabinet space.

If you like to cook this store is like a pharmacy for a drug addict. Oh my gosh I went in here and had 3 other people in tow which I guess that was a good thing because I’m sure I could of done some serious damage in here. First off the display that is set up when you walk in is amazing. The one that was there this time was an autumn theme. Beautiful!!! I would of bought the whole table since autumn is my favorite season and it was spectacular. The dishes were beautiful and the linens amazing. We were in search of those decorative measuring spoons that are primarily used for decorating but are functional. But we struck out! Although I was enlightened that they carry some things that I might want for my up and coming birthday as my husband keeps asking what I want.

I have been in Bakersfield for work and just walked into Williams-Sonoma today because a cook friend of mine’s birthday is coming up. Pam greeted me right away, and I told her I didn’t know what I would get him… But I would know what he would like when I saw it. She asked me some good questions about what he likes to cook, etc., and then she said she might have some things I’d like in the back. She came back with three options, one of them being the Himalayan Salt Block, which I know my friend will love. I love finding gifts on my own, but this guy is difficult to buy for every year. Pam, whom I just met, really helped me find the right gift, and she was just pleasant and helpful throughout the process. I shop at a W-S store in East Cobb back in Atlanta, and I will continue doing so. Your stores have great items, salespeople like Pam who are extremely knowledgeable and personable, and they are well laid out and easy to walk through, too.

Terrible customer service. I have been there a few times and there were a couple people in line and the employees show no urgency. They have awesome products just wish they would work on customer service.

Impeccable service. That’s what makes me want to shop at Williams-Sonoma over other kitchen supply stores. Not only is the store tastefully decorated, but items are always neatly stacked and on display. I like the fact that there aren’t boxes upon boxes of product laying out in the open. You actually have to speak with someone and engage in conversation to purchase an item. It forces you to have some kind of consumer experience — like shopping was meant to be. Last night, Kevin P and I came in to price check Kuvings Slow Juicers. We happened to have a 20% coupon from an email. Williams-Sonoma happened to be cheaper than Amazon, and with the 20% coupon we saved about $ 80. In all, our experience was great. Just enough personalized attention that you get that special customer experience. But also quick enough that you can get in and get out. As much as I love Amazon and their lightening quick speed, they can’t offer this kind of exceptional one-on-one service. As a bonus, they email receipts. So for anyone that has had the headache of trying to fill out warranties and can’t find the receipt, this makes it that much easier.

Beware, you can spend hours here just deciding which kitchen/dining items to buy! haha :) Fun to visit, shop, and/or just browse! They offer cooking classes on Sundays! :) I attended a couple; one of which was the: «Cocktails & Canapes — Festive cocktails & savory appetizers». Delicious food + meet new people + learn how to cook(using Williams Sonoma supplies)!

I guess closes at 9pm, means lock the doors at 8:15 and stare at customers through the glass windows… I can see you in there!!!

If you need something for the kitchen, Williams Sonoma will have it without question. Beyond dishes and kitchen towels, you will find spices, tableware, stemware, baking goods, pots and pans. They have their own line of unleaded crystal stemware at a nicer pricepoint than Waterford(which they also carry online FYI). I loved the Jars Cantine dishware which recently went on clearance in certain colors with an additional 20% off. I bought the turquoise set(in the picture). Although the store did not have the complete set, they were able to locate them for me at the Las Vegas store so that I could have 8 dinner plates and 8 salad plates which were shipped to my house free!(The shipping is apparently at the discretion of the individual stores however) This location also offers Technique and Junior Chef classes which is a fun way of cooking with the kids and letting someone else take care of the mess! The staff are friendly and eager to share their wealth of wisdom so I always learn about something new(that I want to buy!). It’s located at the western part of the Marketplace, between Camille’s Sidewalk Café and the movie theater.

This place isn outstanding with the quality of products this company has. I wish I could purchase everything here, maybe even two of some of their products. The employees are very nice with greeting you and your family and a helpful with finding the product you moght be looking for, especially when you get as side tracked as I do with all the wonderful things they have. This is another great shop in the Ming/Edwards Shopping Center. This place can be pretty pricy but if you know what your looking for this place will have it. Now all I need is a couple grand and my kitchen will have everything I need/want it to have.

It’s Williams-Sonoma… how can you go wrong? This is one of the smaller stores that I’ve been in and it seemed like the selection of items was a little bit less than some of the other shops I’ve been to… but with that being said, they were very well stocked and every single nook and cranny was stuffed to the gills with kitchen gadget goodness. Yes, they are overpriced… but doesn’t spending big money on a shiny new appliance make you feel like a better chef? I know it does for me. Which is why half of my kitchen is outfitted from W-S. Regardless… it always smells delightful in here, the staff was kind and helpful and it always takes me every ounce of effort to not walk out of here with a new mixer under one arm and a set of seasonal dishes and matching linens under the other one.

They have a nice selection of high quality kitchen items, which are very expensive. They must not get paid in commission though because when my wife and I browsed in here we were ignored nearly the whole time while the two employees chatted up a storm with each other. We walked in and looked around for at least 10 – 15 mins until we heard a voice ask us if we were doing okay, we couldn’t see the employee because she didn’t even approach us. We said we were fine to not interrupt her and her friend. Then another 10 mins of browsing and we left with no good bye just the fading conversation in the background. If were actually approached and the employee tried to make a sale we would have probably bought something.

I love Williams-Sonoma & I am so happy that we have one in Bakersfield now. When I buy my first home I hope I can fill my kitchen with all the pots and pans from this store. Right now they’re a little pricey for my budget. The store has all the high end kitchenware that you could ask for. I also like the section of spices & sauces, the various cookbooks, bake-ware, etc… and the store is right down the street from my apartment! Yay.
