Everything was phenomenal! The Macaroni Au Gratin was rich and creamy and the Steak Frites was cooked to perfection! Will definitely be back!

Le zoo, I love you! No, really… it’s true! From your fresh country style bread to your Steak Frites and fresh lemon mayonnaise, you’re the French place we so badly needed in Miami and especially in BH! Sitting outside always transports me to a special place in my mind. The colorful chairs and canopied tea-light ceiling add the perfect finishing touches to transport me to the old continent – all the while enjoying that cool ocean breeze and watching beautiful cars driving by. A perfect place to take a client, or an old friend, they’re sure to love it. Though I constantly go on recommending the whole menu, below are my favorite 5-Star ***** choices: To start: Mushroom Tart Onion Soup Macaroni Au Gratin Entrée: Steak Frites Chicken Paillard Le Kosher Dog The Burger Sea bass Warm shrimp salad with side pomme frites Steak au Poivre Croque Madame Dessert: Profiteroles (double) Noisette(with the steamed milk on the side always) Which reminds me, how do you not have Noisette under the coffee/dessert menu? Time to add it! And finish off with a trip upstairs to Laduree for a set of pistachio + sea salt Caramel + Marie Antoinette macaroons! :-) thanks for the great times Le Zoo. Looking forward to many more!

The restaurant is aptly named with lots of air-kissing going on among the international patrons. The main scene happens al fresco overlooking the valet area where people arrive in their ostentatious carriages — I witnessed a custom camo-wrapped Lamborghini, I kid you not. If you must gird yourself and face Miami head-on, this is the place. The food is very well done and since I am a glutton for a proper foie gras au torchon I will be back especially when our fickle town has moved on to the next best thing.

Compliments to the chef!!! This is the best French food I’ve had since I’ve been in Paris. Every bite has so much flavor, and the dishes have a creative touch. Get the mushroom toast, it surprised me on how much texture and different flavors come in every bite. Next, steak tartar. Absolutely delicious, I refused to even share it with my boyfriend so we had to get two: p. Finally I got the mussels which had a wine sauce and a hint of lemon, the sauce was thick and perfectly complimented the mussels and my boyfriend got the duck which was sweet and crispy. I would move from ny to Miami just to eat here more often!

Went to this place last night for dinner with my fiancé and had a great time! We sat inside and it was so stunning! The bread was Zak the Baker which I love and they served it with ab amazing whipped butter! Boy was it good. We started off sharing the mushroom tart which was delicious but was definitely very very heavy. I ordered the cheeseburger which was phenomenal! The fries tasted frozen and weren’t very good. My fiancé got the duck confit which he thought was good, moist with crispy skin. He didn’t really like the garnishes that it came with. Overall, we enjoyed the food and the place very much!

This is my third time here at this restaurant. The service, the food, the ambiance all together are fantastic. However there is a hidden gem! Her name is Melissa! She’s one of the managers at the restaurant. She always says hello, she’s kind and caring and always insures my wife and I are absolutely happy! I haven’t seen this amount of care in a restaurant in a very long time. Kudos to le zoo for hiring the right people!!! I highly recommend you trying this restaurant out. The prices are great and the quality is second to none! Oh and when you’re here say hello to Melissa!

This is very difficult to rate. We had some ups and some downs at this new restaurant. The servers were polite, friendly and attentive. The manager was very engaged and responsive. The onion soup had a rich broth infused with sherry. It was covered with a generous helping of cheese. The onions were caramelized and sweet. That’s a very good appetizer. The salmon was bland. It was served in a bowl rather than a plate which made it difficult to cut. The beef stroganoff was just awful. Actually it was inedible. Actually I spit out my first bite it Was so bad. The meat tastes rancid. Enough said The manager did take the awful meal off of the bill and he was very apologetic. It’s a new restaurant and it clearly has some kinks to work out in the kitchen

Welcome to miami, le zoo! What a lovely addition to our neighborhood! Great location, Bal Harbour shops is always a pleasure to stroll through… And an even better patio to eat on. Speaking of the patio, absolutely charming. The whole place — very chic and casual. Very ambient. Perfectly balanced. The food, phenomenal… We had the frog legs and the mussels, yum! The service, quick and attentive — Devon was great. Will be coming back and recommending for sure!

Quick Background about me: 9 years in the hospitality industry(from dishwasher, server, manager, you name it!). Have worked as a personal chef. Traveled extensively through Europe, lived in Africa and South America, Now the U.S. I find myself a foodie and pretty decent at wine… Review: My friend has been dying to go to this place. She was born and raised in Paris, France and is thrilled when any French restaurant opens anywhere. Food– bread on the table was delicious. I wish very much you would warm it though! Duck pâté– okay. A little on the dry side, a bit too crumbly. Lagniappe in midtown, give their pâté a try. French onion soup– best of the meal. Delicious, large portion, and just the right amount of Gruyère cheese. Steak tartare– okay. My friend was not pleased. I liked it, it needed an extra OOMPH though. Maybe a little dash of worcheshire(sp?) sauce? Tabasco? Tuna carpaccio– this was my favorite. Flavorful, lemony, very fresh. I was very pleased. Maybe the presentation needs a little work, looks like a giant pancake of pink. Dessert– crème brûlée. AHH when the French girl says that Whole Foods has better, she means it! This is our favorite time of the meal and was the biggest disappointment. The crème brûlée was absolutely tasteless, was there even vanilla in there? Suggestion: please add more vanilla bean, more sugar, more vanilla extract, maybe a touch of grand mariner SOMETHING! It tasted like a giant custard of pure cream. Family next to us ordered the same thing, and even discussed with us how disappointed they were with it too. Service– well done host staff! Very kind, friendly, professional. waiter was very kind and knowledgable. Only complaint– our waters. Ahhhh my friends water was empty from start of appetizer to finish, I had to give her mine. Many bussers and service staff passed by, no one noticed our glasses were empty! It’s the little things that make the big things! I will be back. My French friend said she will not.

Food is ok. Service is terrible. More than 30 minutes waiting for a steak tartare and a boeuf bourguignon. Hope they improve. I will give it one more chance.

I haven’t had a Steak Tartare so good in a long time. The pomme frites were superb. One advice, make the steak tartare also as a main dish portion. I’ll be dining here regularly
