Very good food, so so attention. I wouldn’t specifically go back but it’s a decent location and the food is good. I’d say 3⁄5.

Everyone knows that Philadelphia is a college city, boasting over 50 universities. Students from all over the United States come to get an education, me being one of them. I have been in Philadelphia for 2.5 years now, but I have not bothered to get a PA license since my permament address is with my parents(since I do plan on going back to my home state after med school) and I have never had an issue with my identification. Since holidays just passed, I even used my ID to get through airport security — twice — within the last two weeks. So my day back to Philadelphia, I was glad to see my boyfriend again and we wanted to go get dinner. I was really gung-ho on getting an alcoholic drink since he had a gift card and was driving. The server just stared at my ID, and I told him the birth day was in the left-hand corner. He went to the back to show his GM. He comes back and says that I’ve been denied. He asks if I have another ID — I said no because I didn’t think my school ID would qualify since that just had my name(I suppose if he were more specific I would have asked, but my brain was frazzled from the 6 hour flight!). The GM comes over and says they aren’t going to accept it. OK… Yet no one asks what else we want to drink until the server comes a minute later. YES, I am upset, but bf has a gift card. I posted some witty thing on FB right after our drink order, so I have a time stamp of when we asked for our coke and ice tea… THREEMINUTESPASSED and we are just like, «What the heck? Where’s our drinks?» I used to serve so I know that greeting tables and getting their drinks to their tables within 2 minutes of SEATING is what you should do(first impressions are everything). We use a few more seconds to discuss what to do and unfortunately, that first impression left a bad taste in our mouth and we left. It’s one thing to let us know my out-of-state ID makes you feel uncomfortable(even though no where has had an issue and there’s a ton of us students in the city), but to not try and make us feel at home, attend to our non-alcoholic beverages, etc, is just unacceptable. They made ME feel really uncomfortable and I hadn’t done anything to deserve that feeling. So, we will not be going back. We will probably save the gift card until we have a reason to go to East Philly(for on-the-border).

Nice place on City Avenue. It’s quite large and I saw a separate area for private parties too. The blackberry iced tea was tasty and surprisingly not excessively sweet. I had the steak & shrimp fajitas. The cheese wasn’t too fresh but the steak was actually cooked well, not cremated. My family had an assortment of other selections. They said it was all pretty good for lunch. Beware the cookie and ice cream dessert, very rich!

Good food. Laid back environment. Nice staff. It’s Chili’s so I go for apps, burgers and enchiladas. Nothing special or extraordinary. Just a quick bite to eat. Will be back!

Having worked for years at a Chili’s while in college and having frequented many since then(i’m a fool for the classic chicken nachos, don’t ask), I knew my expectations shouldn’t be too high, but this location set a new low — the worst Chili’s I’ve ever been to. Long story short: * ignored by hosts for probably a minute, despite standing right in front of them while they talked to each other, basically had to seat ourselves in the bar area; * no server, had to ask someone to give us service, I think it was a hostess, who actually got us through drink service while our server was missing in action; * took about 20 minutes for our actual server to show up, and she was, um, lacking; * server only came back once after delivering food and actually just kind of lingered at the table; * ordered kids cheeseburger sliders for my 4 year old, and they came out without the 2 buns even separated(come packaged made together) * both daughters went to restroom together and said they didn’t wash their hands because the bathroom was so disgusting that they honestly thought it would get them dirtier to use the sinks. Only reason they get 2 stars instead of 1 is that my ancho salmon dish was actually, by some strange stoke of luck, one of the better pieces of salmon I’ve had in a very long time, even in nicer white tablecloth type restaurants. And the attentive hostess who handled us until our server surfaced, that helped.

«They don’t pay attention to what they’re doing» — waitress says to me today after we waited 1HR for my guacamole burger — stating that the cooks burnt my burger patty so they had to do it all over again. From the beginning the host less was very inviting. Great smile. Great attitude. Boom. We are on a roll. That’s where things went down-hill… and then dipped fast. Waitress came up to the table and was probably the most unenthusiastic person and made it seem like my mom(who is in visiting from out-of-state this week) and I was an inconvenience to her day. I am a very chill person I would say so, I just blew it off as «everyone has a bad day». We ordered our food… and I have to say we were neglected. She disappeared for refills to be a task of looking out for the waitress as if we were waiting for someone at the airport to pop out of the doors. Service starting taking stars away for me but also I was just like, okay… leaving a tip is starting to become an issue. Appetizer came out a bit late, would say around 25 – 30 minutes. The other waitresses at other tables seemed to make quicker rounds and refilled other customers drinks but our waitress left us in the corner and just decided to disappear. Then my mom’s dish was completed and she came out to tell me that the cooks burnt my burger patty and said they’re making it now, it’s going to be another 5 minutes. They’re getting on it right now. So from here, the service changed where I think she realized, she may have forgotten to put my order in and just put the appetizer and my mom’s order in. I could see she was all of a sudden a new waitress. Still not enthusiastic but there was some more pep to her step and she kept saying, «I’m checking»… after an hour later, I decided I am just leaving but as I told another waitress to tell my waitress(because she was no where to be found) that she didn’t have to worry about the burger and just take it off… all of a sudden a few minutes later she was running back and forth and then my burger came out as we were all done eating… I kindly said«no thank you, please just take it off our check»… For her to be pushy saying«but it’s right here and hot on the plate»… 1 hour and some change in minutes later… Chili’s. This isn’t a 5 star restaurant, I get that but it is an establishment where you know what you’re going to get for the most part. Chain-restaurant food. Decently priced for solid food to somewhat satisfy your appetite… I came here today for lunch for that overall expectation and I have to say, what a waste and a huge disappointment. My mom is visiting for the week and she hadn’t had Chili’s in awhile so we stopped by… Overall, I have to my server had a poor attitude and service… sucked. I caught her texting on her phone by the register right next to us — so I tried being understanding as if maybe she’s having a bad day. Bad day or not… She basically poured her bad day into making it a bad experience for us. At least for us she won’t be around for any refills just like my strawberry lemonade. It’ll be my effort whether I go back or not. Which I won’t be.

Had dinner on Veterans Day. Our Chicken Chefs Salad without dressing came with dressing we sent it back and it came back 30 minutes later. Then a second salad was offered. So unusual. Also our other order was took 45 minutes to get. To add injury to insult, the bill was wrong. Don’t think We will every go to another Chilis again.

Server totally forgo my order. Party of three and not all that busy. Asked for water twice and never got it. Kids ate. I cancelled my order after they finished and I was still awaiting food.

The worst experience ever; I am never going back there. Poor service, the worst ever! Horrible drinks, very poorly made; watery and tasteless. Food had bad presentation and when I raised my concerns to the manager, he did not care. I would not recommend this Chilis to anyone.

I was in town for the weekend to go to a festival and wanted to get a quick bite before heading out. This restaurant was across the street from our hotel. Table for two, got seated right away. We both ordered the mex bowels which were good. Only thing is that food could have been hotter and the lettuce tasted as if it had been warmed up instead of cool and crispy. The waitress was nice and our food was served quickly.

We are in town for a wedding in Philly Tomorrow. After a long day I took my family out for a late dinner. To my surprise within my fajita platter we discovered a chunk of painted fingernail. OMG. couldn’t beleive it. What a dam shame! Never again! The saddest part is our waiter first told us the manager couldn’t talk to us because the manger was too busy cooking in the kitchen. After I paid the bill our same waiter told us the manager was still busy. Now the manager was too busy talking to another customer. Hmmm??? Was there an additional complaint? For a franchise I’m totally freakin pissed. Maybe it was the manager’s nail & that’s why he or she wouldn’t show his or her face to make it right as any other GOOD manager is EXPECTED to do. Chili’s should train there mangers better!!!

I would give them zero stars. Today my service was horrible and I waited over 40 mins for a round of drinks. Our chicken came out half done and we had to constantly ask for estimated time of drinks

Went here about 2 years ago and vowed never to go back again. Ordered two desserts, waitress only brought one. So we sat for a few min and waited while our ice cream melted. Only when I asked a passing by waitress did ours come over and she said, «oh we ain’t have the other one you wanted.» And walked away. I was literally ready to just walk out the door and not pay, but that’s just not my style. So after we finished eating and waited 15 min for her to come over and give us a damn check I got up and waked to the front where the hostess is and said, «I’m about to leave with out paying if I don’t get a check right now I’m leaving.» She apologized and gave us our check, while our waitress was flirting with someone over at the bar. I paid exactly $ 10.24 and walked out the door. Never will I ever visit this chili’s or any location ever again.

I found this Chili’s to be comparable to every other Chili’s that I’ve been to. The food was very salty but this is to be expected. I ordered a full rack of Dr. Peppers baby back ribs. I found them to be cooked well and the meat fell easily off the bones. The service was mediocre. This was actually my biggest complaint. Ever since Chili’s has implemented computerized table ordering it seems once the initial order is placed with the wait staff you are forgotten about. Unfortunately, the tablet at the table does not allow you ask for additional napkins or silverware. It is also limited in its ability to split the check in ½ if two people are paying. We had difficulty tracking her down even though the restaurant was not particularly busy. I would definitely go back here again though. I recommend going when they offer ½ price appetizers or margaritas.

I used to work at a Chili’s so dining here is excruciating. NEVER had a good experience the multiple times we came here. The only reason I come back is because I like the food from working at another Chili’s location so much. This place is clearly managed by farm animals because no one with any intelligence is running this restaurant. Our server, poor gal, was painfully awkward. She shouldn’t have been hired. She meant well but sucked. She brought my cup of soup(which I asked for a bowl) before we even got our drinks. She then brought our alcoholic drinks to another table of teens. Great work! We finally got our drinks and she continued to stop by our table multiple times and asked if we were okay. Like holy crap. We only have drinks right now. Stop coming to our table. Once we got our food we realized we had no utensils. I asked for some from a server with short brown hair who brought our food and she nastily replied it would come when it was done being washed and rolled. Ok neat. I’ll just sit here and stare at my food while you door knobs figure out how to provide your guests with utensils so that they can put their food in their mouth. Because ya know. This is a restaurant. Where you eat things. After our server stopped at our table fifty-six more times the only thing we could do was laugh. It was such a horrible experience all we could do was laugh. One night we opted out of dining inside the Chili’s crust hole and decided to just get take out. I got fajitas to-go and was so disappointed with the sparse amount of toppings I was given. I was literally given a fourth of a ramekin of shredded cheese for my fajitas. Don’t even give me any cheese at all if you’re going to be an a-hole about your job.

My review is based on my service I received and not the food. When we arrived there was a crowd at the door so I give them my name and say a table for two. Abt 15 – 20 minutes into my wait by the door I look arnd to the left and there are like 3 tables that needed to be bussed and 4 tables that were empty. Now it’s abt 30 people waiting to sit down. So I asked the young lady are you seating anyone in the left side of the dining room? She says yes I’m trying to seat a party. Ok so at this time I’m thinking ok she needs help. Took all of me not not to call the store phone an ask to speak to a manager to figure this out. So after abt 35 minutes we were seated. My waitress I’m not going to mention her name because she have been new. Anyways I ordered the 2 for 20.00, my son an I got two bacon cheeseburgers an a free appetizer so we choose the panko onion rings since our burgers were already coming with fries. It took a while for food to come but when it did it was delicious. No food complaints. Our waitress was going to get me a refill but she must have forgot so the guy that brght out our burgers asked if we wanted a refill I said sure! Not only did he bring our food and drinks he brght us silverware as well. So nice of this man. Eventually the waitress came back with my raspberry lemonade an see that I already have it so she tries to play it off saying she thgt she brght one so she just put it on the table. A few mins later I ask her for a to go box she disappears so I’m ready to go now so I asked the girl at the front for one an she was kind enough to get it. So my experience wasn’t the best not sure if they were short staffed or just needed more training.

Food was good, service was bad. Clearly short staffed and before we ordered he let us know that there was no pasta or lemonade left…(odd). By the time more people were seated they had also ran out of boneless wings…(odder). Food was good, no complaints on that, it just took a long time to get it. Had to wait like 15 minutes to pay because the waiter was non existent the whole time. No idea what his name was. Go here if you have time to burn, otherwise you will be sadly disappointed.

Plus one star for the friendly young lady who was the hostess, and my waitress was no worse than a 3-star. I did hang around there a while, as I was waiting for the completion of an activity that my sons were at which lasted a couple of hours — and, despite being moderately busy, my waitress wasn’t rushing me out the door to turn the table. However, despite the chop-busting I received with my ‘check-in’ on Unilocal,I can’t rate this above a 2-star. It’s been about a year since I visited a Chili’s, and probably a year for the visit before that. We used to go, all the time. This was my first time to this location, and it is tired. Everywhere I went felt grungy and sticky. It might just be the age of the facility, and the type of fake-stucco or adobe-esque floor tiles, which naturally look dirty. The men’s room was barely acceptable. I went with a chicken sandwich with avocado, and an appetizer of the chips and guac. The chips were actually to my liking — light and crispy, but capable of holding the guac and salsa, reasonably well. The sandwich was not much better than a Panera Bread production — in size and quality — but 50% more [net of tip].
