Grand Park Inn

Loud, toilet broken, towels shedding, AC slow, lights flicker on/​off, all ice machines not working, soap dries out skin, front staff seem like you’re bothering them. Again, loud people.

Came here to stay for a night after I had an emergency, it was $ 60 for the night which was a great price, but like the saying says, «you get what you pay for» I decided to get a room to be specific «non-​smoker room» as soon as I get there and open the door I get hit by a very bad odor of smoke, it smelled like a bar, it smelled so bad!!! The lights didn’t work, probably the worst motel I ever stayed in, NEVER AGAIN!!! I can clearly see now why it was so cheap.

The Good: $ 55 plus tax for two adults and a toddler. Fridge in room with a table and two chairs.
The Bad: The floors are filthy. Our feet were black within an hour walking barefoot in the room. Wifi is free for ONE device. To add another device you have to pay $ 3. The internet speed is pretty good though. There isn’t a microwave in the room. The window is very thin and we can hear the freeway and weirdos taking right outside our room. The AC is super loud at least… The bed feels like a department store bedding display. The bedding is clean, but stained. Strangers hairs were all over the pillows as well. The front desk was not very friendly. The tv’s picture is awful.

Wish I could give less than one star. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. While making a reservation a lady that barely spoke English hung up the phone twice without finishing the reservation. Finally, it was confirmed and we were booked and when we got in they had given our room away. Because we got in around 11 pm (which we had told them of beforehand) we were left to sleep in OUR CAR! DO NOT STAY HERE

After reading the reviews on this place I felt a little gross out because I did notice spiders webs almost every where and floor stains, and there’s this weird funky smell like urine. It’s dead, dark and scary outside. Plus our top lock was broken. But in all it wasn’t so bad.

Pros:
+_It’s cheap and it’s affordable, about $ 55−60/night. **They give military discounts!
+_It’s convenient. It’s right off the I-​10 fwy East off ramp when you get off on Francisquito. There’s an in-​n-​out burger place right across the street, a wienerschnitzel next to it, and if you continue down francisquito south of the 10 fwy you’ll find walgreens, carl’s jr, subway, starbucks, and a dollar tree. North of the 10 fwy, you’ll find a target, payless, cvs, a self service coin operated car wash place, party city, buffalo wild wings, the list goes on.
+_There’s a pool. I’ve never used it but it’s there!
+_​Each room comes with a fridge and hair dryer.
+_​You can extend your check out time to 12pm/​1pm, just let them know in advance.
Cons:
+_​You get what you pay for. You may or may not find some things broken in your room, whether it be your hair dryer, the lock to your door?! –_​-​…, or even the switch to the lights. There may also be stains on your sheets and the restrooms aren’t the cleanest. **BRING SLIPPERS!
+_​Room service apparently ends when the house keeping ladies leave. So… if you want an extra pillow or blanket, get it while its still early! My boyfriend was visiting from out of town, and long story short, he ended up getting eight stitches from an accident. We didn’t get back to the room till after midnight, I thought he could use an extra pillow or a softer one? since the ones we got were rock hard. The lady at the front desk told me she couldn’t do anything for me since the house keeping ppl were gone. daaafakkkkkkk.

Staff is very rude, I called in to make reservations today and she says I have to go in. I then told her why couldn’t I make a reservation over the phone. She than says «oh it’s slow, nobodys here». So then I advised I want to make a reservation just in case. I then had a question about the master suite, and her response is…“I don’t know, I’m new.” I then asked her if she could ask someone else or her manager and she says“There’s nobody here to ask”. I decided not to reserve anything here, I could only imagine the bad experience I’d have there, If the service was so bad over the phone.

DO NOT come here! This is one of the most dangerous places to stay. It is not safe AT ALL. People trying to break in cars or go inside your rooms. Just all bad! It’s got a good rate. Just not good security.

One star is being generous. We stopped here late at night on a road trip, basing our decision on the first two reviews. I wish I would have read further because I truly believe the first two reviews were employees who wrote false reviews. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy… just clean. We went into two rooms (first one didn’t sleep 5 so we switched rooms) and they were the most run down filthy rooms I’ve ever seen. Urine all around the toilets, mold in the tub area, graffiti etched into anything metal in the room. Dried macaroni was stuck to the comforter in the bed my kids slept in. Even though it was a nonsmoking room, it smelled so smokey my kids were complaining. At first we decided to stick it out but when the jack hammers started up at 2 am, we left. The only thing that I can say nice about the place is they refunded us all our money except for $ 10 because we did get in the beds.

Id say this motel i rate only two star due to enormous negative ambiance.1^st the bathroom, it looks like a ghetto. i’m saying toilet wasnt that clean yet the bath tub looks like forgotten to scrab. Carpet looks like hasnt vacuum i guess they need to change the color. overall id say this inn will go down the toilet if they didnt change the ambiance and the carpet

Wow by far the most heinous and horrific experience ever. My wife and I spent the weekend there. We had our 3 yr old son with us and he was walking around barefoot in the room and stepped on a CRACK PIPE! I was angry but what really did it was that when I went to the manager they didn’t want to do anything about it. They refused to move us rooms, compensate us and even insinuated that it was my crack pipe. We left that place and found out later that I was blacklisted there. My son could have overdosed if the crack pipe punctured skin. Worse experience ever!

This place has a great location! Right off the 10fwy and across the street from In-​n-​out! I came here last week with my boyfriend and the outside of the hotel was basic, lots of parking. The lobby was clean and the front desk/​receptionist was very polite, she recommended the Jacuzzi room and gave me a little map showing where it was. The room was inexpensive (considering there was a Jacuzzi in it!) Very clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.

I had relatives stay here and they were very pleased with the room and service. When I reserved the room, the staff was very polite and helpful; I’m glad my relatives got the same pleasant treatment. The rooms were clean, there’s free parking, and it’s located very close to In-​n-​Out and other local shopping centers. Reservations, checking in, checking out, and room services all went very smooth and easy. If you’re looking for an inexpensive stay, try the Grand Park Inn. :D

Juicy Place!
Great Inexpensive place to stay when you are in town or just a local staying around the West Covina Area. Place is clean and just as good as your other local chain motels. Service is friendly and accomodating. They serve free breakfast and have a clean pool. The lobby is nice and big and the place is too. It’s comparable to a travelodge with the price of a motel 6. I recommend this place to anyone who is staying around the area. Very convenient location close to all the stores and restaurants and malls, plus close to the freeway. Great Place! Thank you!!!
