Started going to salon about a year ago because I didn’t feel the need to pay over $ 30 for a cut and let me tell you, I have never left the salon feeling like I didn’t get what I wanted. Veronica makes you feel like her «girlfriend» and sincerely wants to make you look your best and really loves what she does– a quality that shows through her work. Ask for her and your hair will love you forever.

VERONICA is wonderful… she is very knowledgeable and friendly… I love going to her because i know my hair is in good hands and the outcome is very satisfying.

I think this place got more Hispanic over the years. They only play Spanish music here now. I thought I was in Baldwin Park, not El Monte. The music is a little loud, I’m not at the club, I don’t think? Only one girl again cutting hair as I wait to get my eye brows waxed, because that’s the one thing they do okay and I only come here every 6 months. Damn I need to find another place. Always stuck waiting. Two other ladies working. One might be a manager and other in training?

Cynthia was great with my brows and style. She also gives a great massage while shampooing.

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO RUIN YOUR DAY WITH BAD SERVICE AND A HEAD OF WET HAIR OUT THE DOOR.
I made an appointment a day early for a simple haircut. I came in 20 minutes before my appointment time and the girl (Veronica, I think her name is) sent me away with just one sentence. Even though her tone wasn’t the most friendly, I completely understood and came back at the time of my appointment. However, she was still busy on other customers and I patiently waited for another 20 minutes before she attended to me. I was still patient and polite the whole time.
When it came to my turn, I told her that I needed a trim. And she hurried me in and started cutting my hair right away. On their prize sign and website, it says that shampoo, conditioner, and head massages are included with any hair service. So I thought it was a little strange that she didn’t wash my hair first. But I have had experiences that they wash it after the trimming. So I didn’t say anything. 4 minutes later, she says she’s done. I looked on the floor and I seriously lost more hair naturally in a day than what she’s trimmed for me. I politely asked her if she can help me trimmed off more of my split ends, as that’s what I thought a trimming was in the beginning, she started giving me attitude. «You should have told me that from the beginning, I have other customers waiting.» She says. There were only one other customer waiting at the time.
I felt bad in the beginning for keeping the other customer waiting. And then I thought, I made an appointment, why is it my fault that she didn’t schedule me correctly or have told the other customer about the possible wait? Anyways, I apologized to her at the moment. When she was done, she hurried me to the cashier to pay. I asked her what about the wash that your sign promised? She says it was not included since I used a coupon (for $ 5.00 off only). But I pointed out that the coupon also says that these services are included. She gave me a lot of attitude and says that she’ll do it but I’d have to wait. So I waited.
In the end, she did wash my hair, hastily with cold water, no head massage what so ever by the way. But that was all, she didn’t even dry it for me. And when I asked, «you’re just going to have me leave with wet hair like this?» She says «Yea, unless you want to pay more. But you still got to wait». I still can’t believe that SHE MADE ME LEAVE THE STORE WITH WET HAIR.
I wasted over an hour (not including the time I was early for my appointment) for an altogether 10 minutes of TERRIBLE service. I was later for my next appointment, had a head of wet and horribly trimmed hair, along with a headache. I have never been treated with such bad service at a salon. I will NEVER EVER RETURN.

i called for take appointment with Miriam, but they said she not there anymore, so i try another one, her name is Veronica, she did a great job, love my ombré hair, looks very nice, but next time i want more lighter and more blonde for my hair. anyway i love her job, thank you

Always a wait. One person only working. Sad but I don’t like going to new places to get waxed. So I have a 20 min wait. Playing some jacked up music in here. Under staffed always new girls working in here. Never the same ones. Why bother learning name. Let’s hope they don’t burn me the time.

Came here for my first time a few days ago and left very satisfied, stylist KRYSTAL was very patient and helpful in deciding on my cut.

Great place to come to. Miriam is great and prices are very fair. I had stopped coming here but she was worth returning to this place. I reccomend it highly. I’m usually picky and she gets it just right.

I was having the worst experiences locally at establishments that offer the same services at comparable prices so I decided to give something not so local a try. The common response to someone’s complaint when a service isn’t performed properly or as one would expect when a cosmetology license is hung on the wall is «You get what you pay for.» Unfortunately, that is not an excuse. I’ve seen Judith twice at this location. Just as instructed and without much input, she trims just the ends of my hairs without losing the shape of my style. She respects my decisions not to purchase most of the hair products on sale. The topics of her conversation include the services offered at the establishment and recommendations for hair care practices. She is very professional and well-​groomed.

This place is a butcher shop. They butcher your hair. My son left sad and depressed after getting a hair cut. You should leave a salon feeling new and good about yourself, improved. I should if just shaved my dons head. But what could you expect tom a salon inside the Walmart. I told the lady my son likes to spike his hair and I wanted it short on the sides. What did she do? She cut his hair with a 4 on top and 2 on sides. After the cut I asked is it all the same length? It looked terrible! But as her job she should have know what to cut not just throw out numbers. I don’t cut hair I don’t know numbers. I usually tell someone what I want and they do it. I’ve never been so disappointed. She thought that’s what I wanted because I agreed to her 4 and 2. It sounded longer to me on top so I said yeah. Well now I know a 4 is just as short as a 2 and my son came out with a buzz that you can’t spike. Thank you for giving my 8 year old son the worst haircut in his lifetime!
